ALGXQ - and, as mentioned in the PR, it looks like a pure asset deal, which mostly implies that common shares get cancelled.
"Under the terms of the agreement, Qwest will purchase Allegiance assets for approximately $300 million in cash."

Chipped/Gold...... I dont think Sadam killed it. I thought he would, but the Price of Gold recovered already on Monday. Maybe a delayed reaction? I am watching. But the fact that Gold is still near the HOY is very bullish imo. Once it closes above $410 it should rock imo.
Certainly the Gold Micros got a beating today. I am not sure yet, but this might be nice buying opportunities. We will know soon.
ARCS chipped looks nice. Forgot this one, but it surely can run. Mite buy a starter here today.
IDNW HOY .... Next .10?

Chinese State Food and Drug Administration Accepts LAM Pharmaceutical's Submission for Approval
Tuesday December 16, 6:45 am ET
LEWISTON, N.Y., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LAM Pharmaceutical, Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: LAMP; Frankfurt: LAM; Berlin: LAM), a biomedical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel wound healing and transdermal drug delivery systems, announced today that the Chinese State Food and Drug Administration ("SFDA") has accepted LAM's submission for the approval of its patented LAM IPM Wound Gel(TM) -- SFDA file number Imp-03-1457. The completion of the approval submission culminates several months of dedicated work by both LAM's Chinese regulatory advisors and LAM staff.
Joseph Slechta, President and Chief Executive Officer of LAM, commented, "The acceptance of the approval submission for our IPM Wound Gel represents a crucial step in our regulatory initiative in China. We anticipate receiving the final SFDA approval to market the Gel during the first quarter 2004. We are presently negotiating distribution and marketing agreements for the vast Chinese market. We are confident that the impending SFDA approval for our Gel will enable us to conclude these negotiations and commence the launch of the Gel into the Chinese market."
Mr. Slechta concluded, "We are very optimistic about our prospects in China. Market research recently completed by one of our potential partners confirms both the significant size of the Chinese market and the perceived acceptance by the Chinese consumer of our IPM Wound Gel."
Mr. Ma Qun, the senior consultant responsible for LAM's SFDA submission, added, "My colleagues and I have worked closely with LAM coordinating the Chinese SFDA approval process. We are very excited about the prospects for LAM IPM Wound Gel(TM) as it enters the Chinese marketplace. Diabetic patients and other serious ulcer sufferers will no doubt welcome the relief provided by LAM's excellent wound healing product."

Agree Latino. And it proves once more that those radical arabs talk a lot, but when money is in the game, they will sell their own mother. Who will tell which hole Bin Laden sits in and make some bank? ......lol
Well so why you post political stuff here then?
And why on earth you think I am anti-american just b/c I posted I hope you get a new boss???? 90% of my family are US citizens what should I have against them? And btw they think the same way, so GET OFF ME AND GROW UP.....
Sadam and Bin Laden and all the crap deserves to burn in hell.
Oh and btw, "Either you are with us or against us" is not a saying invented by Bush, it was used by a German leader about 50 years ago, and most of my European ancestors were killed by him. SO THINK WISELY IF YOU WANNA REPLY MORE B/S TO THIS, BUDDY!
Cant ...... not american citizen. Sure would.... lol
Lol I see....... hope we will have a peaceful end of year and a great 2004..... to make love and moolah.
Also hope you get a new boss soon.
re JRVR, yep saw that. They need to update on the proposed merger and the south America deal they signed to get this thing moving... imo
"ultimately this is an international moral decision here....you are NOW either "with us or against us"."
oh man ............ sad.
JRVR .... essentially a shell....
Looking oversold. Trying to find a bottom at .02 ... Very risky play, definately needs news.
If you wanna hold this one, better check the filings or call them....

2 mighty gaps to fill: DATC and PMACA
DATC - beaten to death b/c of lower 2004 guidance:
PMACA - dunno the reason here. Monk is in that one, might wanna consult his board for further info. I like the chart here.
Exactly, thats the big question. As in September, many ppl are short, like you said. Back then, they had to cover AND buying came in, as everone was getting back in - trying not to miss the show. Repeat of pattern? Will institutionals buy in heavy to show they are invested at end-of-year?
Right now, tax loss selling is an additional thing which might hold a new rally back a bit. However, only the "dogs" would be affected by that.
Tokio will be an indicator, but I am looking much closer at the Europeam markets in the a.m. tomorrow. Cant wait.
Sounds good! Hanging lose for sure here. eom
APOA .039 chart and some DD >>>>>>>>>>>
I am watching this one for months now, and it went lower and lower. At the current level it does look attractive to me.
In summary, both the due Filing for Q3 and the chart indicate that the stock is about to make a substancial decision.
O/S: 32,800,000
Last Quarter revenues: $ 17,367,339
Last Quarter profits: $ 59,129
Last Quarter profits/share: $ .0018
Shareholders´ Equity: $ 1,601,914
Market Capitalization: $ 1,279,200
No preferred stock
No long term liabilities.
APOA was hyped and beaten up in summer. The hype was about a potential acqusition of or by the company. However, in the 2nd Quarter filing, APOA made clear that they will no longer pursue that option:
"Other increases included consulting fees which increased by $77,582, as the Company was exploring the possibilities of an acquisition or merger. The consulting agreements have been cancelled and this nonrecurring item will be eliminated in the future."
From last 10Q from 8/18/2003
Furthermore, the last run was killed by decreasing margins:
"As a result the gross margin for the nine months ended June 30, 2003 was $1,869,626 or 4.72% compared to $1,824,453 or 8.37% for the nine months ended June 30, 2002."
From last 10Q from 8/18/2003
So we need an update on this thing:
"The decrease in the gross profit margins are a result of increased revenue from wholesale products which have significantly lower profit margins than retail sales and the decrease in revenue from retail dental sales. Medical supply sales which have a higher gross profit margin than the wholesale products have increased but have not yet made up for the decrease in the dental sales. The Company expects that the increases in sales of medical supplies will make up for the loss in dental sales and increase the Company's overall gross profit margin."
and
"In addition the Company expects that consulting and other professional fees will be reduced by approximately $150,000 which it estimated were non-recurring items. The above reductions would provide the Company with income from operations based on the current sales volume."
(That is .005/share in additional profits....)
There is an law suit pending, it has yet to be evaluated if this has big influence on the stock price performance and on the financial viabilty of APOA (however I doubt it).
Another positive note from the 10Q:
"On October 29, 2002, the Company entered into a financing agreement with Rosenthal & Rosenthal, Inc. The financing agreement provides the Company with a maximum credit facility not to exceed $3,000,000.The credit facility is collateralized by substantially all the Company's assets and $500,000 of the facility is personally guaranteed by Dr. Jan Stahl, Chairman and CEO of the Company."
Fundamentally, one of the best OTC stocks out there imo.

Chart tells stock is in a downtrend. APOA tried to make bottom at .06, then went down and tried at .05, failed again. Currently trying to make a bottom at .04 .... question is if is succeeds finally. Decision should be made soon.
hippie CRMC actually came up on a oversold scan right now.
Dunno if this will run on next week or rather settle and make a bottom at the mid .70s............
Omni, what sector will profit most next week in your opinion?
Prolly those plays that profit from a strong dollar, like import business and those who manufacture abroad.
Also all those sectors which suffered from end-of-year selling and profit taking, as shorts will have to cover and big money mite want to join back in.
I was thinking of any oil price related businesses like airlines, as the hope for stability in the middle east and full Iraqi production in future might bring the oil prices down.
