Lantz - I never thought that I would defend Janice, but Gail really gave her a hard time about not going. Turnabout IS fair play.
Nevertheless, I think Gail is a fine Mod and should retain the position.
Thanks Joe!
I doubt tomorrow, but hopefully soon!
Don't be afraid ;o]
From another board, but relevant here as well (by request of another poster here).
invenstor: EricVan - You are right. I have seen this before.
EricVan: guys..about the Broker restriction not allowing to buy..dont panic. It is normal for brokerages to restrict buying..the reason?! They are shorting the stock or have sold a big number of FTD (Failed to deliver stock). Hence, by not allowing retail to buy they get the chance to buyback first
Janice, 1 liter = 1000cc. They are both measures of volume in the metric system. Gold occupies space and therefore has a volume whether in a liquid or solid state. You need to do some DD before you make such statements.
Janice: Gold is not a liquid.
Invenstor: 400 cc = 2/5 of a liter.
Gosh, maybe some were converted.
When PAIMP began "trading", the company said the float was a mere 22 trillion shares. I believe 30 trillion were issued.
That has yet to be shown. Last year he refused to give any credentials.
TXminer who knows a lot about mining.

Gail - You are a fine mod. Please don't give any thoughts to leaving.
I don't think this can all be explained by NWOG's buyback. I am guessing that there is a leak of some as yet unannounced good news.
SR - Welcome back!!!
DI: Have you changed your mind about the buyout?

"cadilac1 we are waiting"
400 cc = 2/5 of a liter.
7775 grams translates into about 400 cubic centimeters of pure gold. But, all we've seen is a small, palm-sized disk. Australia's supposition actually makes more sense than the dramatic increase in produciton that this would otherwise require.
2C was quite active here this weekend.
This doesn't sound like a pump to me.
The Cash Dividend will be based on the year-to-date gold production and sales report as of July 31, 2007, but it is initially estimated to be around $0.00001 per share.
Jeff's post via KingV states that this is the minimum. It could be more.
...and my alligator repellant works because there are no alligators in my part of the world. (same reasoning Australia)
$.05 - Nice! Maybe somebody knows something.
Jim - thanks for the simple and clear explanation.
Again I want to thank badandy978 for coming forward to let us know that nothing sinister was going on. His candor is to be commended.
badandy978 - Good luck. Again thanks for the heads up!
badandy978 - thanks for the heads up. Please note that good news could come at any moment and you could miss the boat.
rgnoll - Excellent post!
The longs didn't fall for the shakeout.
Feevro - it is normal for a stock's pps to fluctuate.
I think there are more than 2 sides to this story!
BlackJack1 - If your asking my personal buying it will be at the end of week when the share price is around 0.08.

You predicted $.08 for AURC last week, where you said you would be buying your shares. It never happened. Does that mean you have no AURC or that you bought in around $.10? You have made other predictions here lately that have not occurred.
As you claim to have many followers regarding your predictions, I believe that this is on topic.
Janice - Why don't you just enlighten your audience by explaining it in sufficient detail for the board to understand your point, but not so much detail as to obscure that which is relevant.
Your detailed perspective will then provide a basis further discussion.
Please stop repeating that nonsense. Several here have explained to you why it's nonsense.
You'd spend your time better doing some reading about the market maker system and how it works.
rothvanberg - That is excellent news!
BJ - you told us that you were going to buy YOURS at $.08.
DOS - you are so right. This is a commonly observed phenomenon.
I, too, am not very interested in arguing this. The NASD info seems to contradict the SEC's. It would seem that the SEC would be the final arbiter. Also, see the bolded section below as it could tell the tale here. If NASD had received "the DEFINITIVE information" (depending on how that is defined) we would probably gotten our divis months ago:
(1) In respect to cash dividends or distributions, or stock dividends, and the issuance or distribution of warrants, which are less than 25% of the value of the subject security, if the definitive information is received sufficiently in advance of the record date, the date designated as the "ex-dividend date" shall be the second business day preceding the record date if the record date falls on a business day, or the third business day preceding the record date if the record date falls on a day designated by the Committee as a non-delivery date.
(2) In respect to cash dividends or distributions, stock dividends and/or splits, and the distribution of warrants, which are 25% or greater of the value of the subject security, the ex-dividend date shall be the first business day following the payable date.
Shouldn't have happened the first time!
... and emeralds, and rubies, and sapphires ... and Dilithium crystals ;o]
Just gold is OK with me.
Aurus will be issuing a STOCK dividend this time, not a CASH dividend.
jstick2000, That link is wrong. The EXdividend date for a CASH DIVIDEND, has nothing to do with when the stock holders of record (on the record date) are paid the dividend. Other than the fact that the transfer agent has to know who the shareholders were on the record date, so he can send the dividends to the correct people. - Misterbull
Management receive no salaries but are incentivised through their holdings of stock and warrants
Management holdings do not participate in a return of capital if no Acquisition is effected.
