Janice, 1 liter = 1000cc. They are both measures of volume in the metric system. Gold occupies space and therefore has a volume whether in a liquid or solid state. You need to do some DD before you make such statements.

Janice: Gold is not a liquid.

Invenstor: 400 cc = 2/5 of a liter.
