I think you'll do great long term. You have plenty of time to be aggressive in the MJ market, and this industry is really just begining. I look forward to hearing any opinions you have or any DD to scrap up!
Welcome aboard!! Very glad to have you join our small, but growing MGC family! If you have any questions, I'm sure between Erin and I, we should be able to give you some answers. Here's hoping MGC will help you achieve some financial goals!!
I agree that it SHOULD be 1.5mil or above, but the last few quarters saw little growth in revenue. I don't have a ton of confidence in Ballas' ability to advertise well, even though that is suppose to be his area of expertise. Listen, I hope he proves me wrong, but my faith is slipping.
I hear you!! Having debt under control is huge. My house is my only liability...thankfully. Boston real estate has been going bonkers so that should pan out for you if you decide to sell in a few years. As for the motorcycling, I sold my 2001 R1 back in 2004. Haven't quite caught the Harley fever yet! Lol I think working in the ER and seeing the motorcycle traumas affected the decision to sell. I love riding and wish the road wasn't filled with extremely bad and distracted drivers. That said, it's been on the buy list for some time now. I could see myself on a Ducati...red of course!
Thanks Steve, you too.
Sorry, beach not berd
I fully prepared for the audit to not be out tomorrow as I believe it won't be. And that's fine with me. I'm expecting Tue or Wed of next week. Any earlier is a gift IMO. I know the true Longs won't care much if the audit comes out next week, but the weak hands will definitely get flustered and bash away. Whatever. We have come this far, what's a little farther?
Yeah, noticed the games being played. The MM's have such an advantage, illegal IMO, but they have ways to get around it. Keeping a core in MGC is smart to let it ride out, especially if the amount you sell gives you the option to bow out early from worklife. I have a goal to be able to retire at 50. I have 4 years to make it work. Even if I could retire, I probably wouldn't as I like what I do, but having that option is absolutely priceless!!! It would be great to take a few weeks at a time here and there to travel and overall work less hours. That would be the best of both worlds for me. I'm also hoping that very soon I can start officially recomnending Cannepil for my tough seizure patients.
I firmly believe 1.5mil will be the high end with 1.2-1.3 million likely. Cryptobuy probably won't contribute a dime and PetMeds won't be a significant factor yet IMO. I certainly don't see anything > 1.5mil. Just not in the cards yet. Maybe by 4th quarter, maybe, but I'm keeping my expectations realistically low.
Well, that's not a bad plan at all. My goal for Am## is to hold indefinitely, but my other plays the goal will be to sell at 3ish, unless there is good evidence the company can take it further and uplist to the QB and beyond, then all bets are off!
I'm hoping she decides to join us on the board. Nows the time when we don't have the bashers to contend with on a daily basis. The various, strong revenue streams is pretty stunning at MGC. It'll take time to market to the masses effectively, but once they can show the products are top notch, the products will be selling themselves.
Auscann in all rights definitely was looking to be the golden child in Aussie land, but I agree with what MGC has on the table, that looks to change on the near future. Cannepil from a medical provider's perspective is absolutely enormous in what it can offer people with drug resistant epilepsy. By the time the masses figure that out, folks like you and I will be sipping our favorite beverage on the beach, just yards away from our new paradise pad. That's great bringing someone new in! Looking forward to chatting with our growing group!!
Absolutely Plow! Why spend all this time awaiting the breakout just to cash out after you make an initial profit. Unfortunately, a number of folks will do that because of the pink stock investor mentality. The true Longs, Imo, look at any eventual breakout after the A/U as just the very begining of good things to come. Let's face it. Amfe is basically devoid of any red flags. The audit is not in their direct control so Imo that doesn't count. I cannot think of any real red flags with this compamy. Can you??
My thoughts exactly regarding the fund picking up MGC. Someone knows something and it's pretty clear MGC is getting of people's radar.
Yeah, I will definitely check out those suggestions...thanks! And you're right, I'm not a stock pumper one iota. I consider myself a cautious optimist and try to remain as realistic as humanly possible with my plays. I also don't trade much. Being a fundamental kind of fella, I really only invest in companies that I feel I can hold for a long time. I used to have around 30 plays in the MJ realm a year ago, but slimed them down to just a few. My top play is destined for the NASDAQ which is why I have a ton in it. I'm also into crypto and invested heavily last summer and early fall. MGC definitely has the potential, but being my realistic self, just want a few things to come through before I send them a ton more of my money.
No, AMF# is my biggest by a very long shot, approaching 100k invested. I didn't want to get too crazy and put gobs of money in each of speculative plays, but MGC keeps me coming back for more. I didn't spring for the enhanced ihub so I don't have private messaging, but by all means email away!
No, I passed on Zel##. I am into my main play for a boatload and two others for a fair amount. I feel like I have a well rounded portfolio in the MJ realm. Although Zel## is definitely intriguing. Maybe if one of my plays do well, I'll cash out some and dump it into it. Right now, I'm just waiting for something to happen with any of my tickers.
Yeah, if so I will be waiting with funds in hand!
Certainly won't be surprised if it does, although it hasn't hit that low for quite a while I believe.
And back down we go. I guess the MM's let it run yesterday as they collected at 0.06 and sold at 0.08 for a nice little profit of 33%. Well, at least you have a chance to get cheap shares.
It's all very interesting as trying to dissect a stock and all the numbers involved isn't easy. Happy to have you working OT for the board. I can spot talent a mile away which is why I asked you to be a moderator. Once this board lights up, many investors are going to be using the DD you have provided to make their decisions. Kinda cool, right?
You may be onto something. Trying to figure out the MM's is not an easy task, but what you're saying makes sense. I'm getting into the TA aspect more and more. I will always be a fundamental fella first, but having some extra TA knowledge is absolutely useful. I guess we will see how your TA shakes out tomorrow. I'm hoping it's spot on!!
Just read the article. Sounds like our Aussie friends are trying to join the MJ party. This in and of itself would be enormous for MGC and would add another huge layer to their already existing layers. I really like the site for viewing short interest. Looking at the last couple of weeks, there are several days where the short interest is in the single digits. Would have to compare those days to the pps. It's possible the MM's drop it down and collect shares, then let it run up and then sell. It will be interesting to see if the MM's take their 33% profit tomorrow or if this the start of a leg up. Thanks for sharing the info!!
Normally, upwards of 100k would be good volume for MGC so having just shy of 200k is interesting. I was happy to pick up some 6's yesterday. If news come and it's significant, we may have a run to 11's maybe 12's. Or this could be a head fake. Either way, we should know after the next couple of days. I totally agree that sharing these kind of days on our little relatively unknown board is great. There will come a day when the board is full of all sorts of investors.
Yeah, that certainly seems like a smart plan and managing expectations is very wise. It's actually sad that we're hoping it gets to a whopping 0.03 but thinking anything beyond that just isn't being realistic. If it gets to 0.03, I'll be in the green a fair deal, but ultimately it's small potatoes. For me banking 10k is a big meh, but a wins a win so if we all get out in the green, then we won this battle.
Yeah, that was a last minute big buy. Volume definitely good for MGC. Wonder if you're right, but we've seen many of these big buys only to go back down. Let's see how it plays out tomorrow, but I'll take what we got today!
Agree with you. I haven't sold a share, but I have come to the realization that the money invested won't be running hard anytime soon. Maybe we can get back to 0.02-0.03, but that's not really going to blow any wind up anyone's skirt. Toxic debt=the killer of OTC stocks.
Just like last fins, I don't expect anything more than 1.2-1.4 million for this quarter. Cryptobuy will still be parked in the garage and PetMeds will contribute a bit, but I don't believe much. I do believe we will see continued dilution/debt. My guess is this ticker will stagnate for 2018...and quite possibly 2019. Ballas could share some insight into things, but highly doubt he will anytime soon. Hate to say it, but realistically we aren't going anywhere too soon. #UBQUBLUES
I agree that someone is keeping this down. Looks like we retraced to the 3 month low.
My thoughts exactly regarding the gmp cert benefits. Also, if they can keep dilution down to a minumum and certainly no toxic type and just use revenues to continue to fund future projects, I agree 0.50 would be conservative for 2018. It's all set up really well. Just comes down to execution.
Ballas has definitely MIA in 2018 thus far. I suspect he will stay dark for some time. I got the UBQU blues.
I think as something we have learned over the last 8 months with the A/U is to keep expectations as low as possible. In this case, I don't expect the audit will be done until next week earliest as there may be a last minute issue that arises pushing out the date yet again. I loaded a bunch yesterday so I'm all set whether it happen this week or next, or next month.
That's a great position to have! I'll continue building while the price is low but I have a ways to go to catch up to you. I have alot vested in 3 other tickers and I don't want to sell out those positions, so I will slowly add to my levels here. I think we still have a few weeks at least before the next set of fireworks begins, but anything can happen...like the VC deal finalizing which would be sweet!!
I just doubled my position for cheap, so whoever it is...thanks!!! #MGCNOBRAINER
Yeah, not sure why Sessions is so planted in his beliefs. Narcotics and Benzo's are by far more dangerous than MJ. And CBD isn't dangerous at all. I have never used MJ, but so far like the CBD tincture I'm using. I'm live in Mass too, and am happy they passed the MJ laws. As for MGC, it can anyday now when the motor kicks over into high gear. I certainly don't want to be waiting on the sidelines for that to happen. Nuts to that. I'll keep accumulating until it makes sense to hold. Just think how few people are on this board. In 6 months things here will be dramatically different. We'll miss the good ole days of just talking back and forth like this, but it will be great having a bunch more with us to bounce DD off and share ideas. 2018 will be a MGC year!!!
All signs point to a very bright future and have no doubt at this time that MGC will be an integral part of the MJ revolution. Hold until there is a verifyable reason not to hold.
Yeah, totally relate to you Erin. My patients always tell me I make them feel very comfortable and keep all the medical mumbo jumbo simple and easy to understand. I'm a huge naturalistic kind of guy so I love combining alternative therapies along with the traditional remedies. It's a great one-two punch. The great aspect of the ADD'ers and the ADHD'ers is we tend to understand the abstract and the big picture. Also we tend to be very intuituve. Many folks are living in a black/white world. The reality is, we are living in a very grey world and people like you and me understand the world better then most, but get caught up in our abstract world that sometimes we need to be regrounded. The downside is the anxiety from being almost too aware of the world. That's why they say ignorance is bliss. We are anything but ignorant!!! As I see it, if CBD can allow the downside of being ADD/ADHD to lessen, then our ability to use the positive aspects are that much more enhanced. The future appears very bright to me and we'll look back in a few years wondering why we didn't start this CBD/THC revolution much much sooner! MGC will be a powerhouse over the coming months and years and those with the foresight will benefit the most.
I did see a few studies regarding ADD/ADHD and CBD/THC that showed good results. I tried finding the studies I've seen , but cannot locate them. It was several months ago. Should have downloaded them into a file. That said, I have more and more patients on CBD over the last 6-9 months than the previous 17 years I've been in the ER. Awareness and usage are growing in leaps and bounds. I'm doing my part to get the word out as many folks I see are in desperate need of a better, non-toxic, non-addictive solution. Most of the folks I see that are on CBD are on it mainly for insomnia, anxiety, pain syndromes, and ADD/ADHD. I honestly can't think of one patient that didn't get at least some benefit from using. Being an ER guy, I have some ADHD which works really well in that environment. I have never been officially diagnosed and have never used meds as it's been more a assest than liability. Like you, I tend to hyperfocus with things I enjoy and am a numbers kind of guy, but am more more of a "big picture", fundamental kind of person above anything else. The bottom line is beside costs, using CBD products is really a no-brainer as the evidence thus far points to only positive effects. You having a knack for math is great! Dissect MGC's fins as
they come out and we can compare thoughts. Between the two of us, we should be able to keep tabs on our investment!! As a final ADHD thought, I'm a drummer and everyone knows it within a few minutes of meeting me with the constant rythymic tapping going on constantly! Just can't get the music out of my head!!!
As an ER provider, I'm recommending CBD daily to many of my patients because it works really well and can be a great substitute for narcotics for pain and also a great alternative for benzo's for anxiety. I started using it about 6 weeks ago mainly for sleep and it definitely seems to work. Cannepil has the distinct possibility to be a godsend for drug resistant epileptic patients. I went to a birthday today and the birthday boy was just such a person with not only drug resistant epilepsy but he also had a hemispherectomy and still gets seizures. Cannepil could very well be the answer for this child. You can bet I clued the parents in on MGC. I'm eagerly awaiting results of the first batch of patients treated with Cannepil. If it goes well...game freakin over!!!
It's funny, even a few months ago, I was still hesitant on MGC. It looked promising but I eased into it slowly. Fast forward to today and I agree with you this company has a pretty decent shot at becoming a behemoth in the MJ space. Come Monday morning, I will continue to accumulate until this thing takes off. Hopefully will be able to get to a decent amount of shares before the launch. Nice call on that other play. Take a look at my post history and do some DD on A#$@. I think you will like what you see!
