I’m not selling my shares either, but I’m also not defending anything related to the audit process.
I’m sorry man but this is all thanks to Roger himself. I was perfectly fine after being told that no more updates on the audits would be made until they were posted.
If Roger continues to bring up the topic, and if it continues to go against expectations, NO ONE should be surprised that people get mad. This is all on him.
And sadly this will only continue until the audits are finally posted.
It’s funny because it’s true.
The sad thing is that Roger had actually solved the problem way back when he said no further updates would be given. He should have stuck to that plan.
Honestly I believe that Longs should stop defending the handling of the audit process. It has been botched. The communication has been horrible. It’s as simple as that.
However, I also don’t think that people should invest in the company ONLY because an audit is being made.
Lets say I create a 2 man business that makes $50k a year, and I order an audit for this business, and the audit is done submitted and completed this time tomorrow. Will this small $50k business be a better investment thaN S&L with all that we know now?
I think not. S&L (and therefore AMFE) would remain the better investment BY FAR, even if there were no audits.
So, again, invest in the business, not the stock. The business is doing great, and the evidence is easy to see and verifiable.
We won’t really know what cause the delays until the audits are out and about.
I agree that Roger should have been way more careful with his tweets.
Posters here are afraid, regardless how they choose to hide it.
The audits have no impact on the ongoing business and the rate of growth.
The way the audit communications have been made has negatively impacted the credibility of the CEO.
Once the audits are posted, that damage will be cured
I do agree that The last tweet didn’t help out at all. Really, it shouldn’t have been posted. If anyone sells their position because the audits were not completed when Roger said (again) they would be, then Roger will be to blame for this.
Roger even stated a while back that he would not share news again until it was posted. That should have been the end of it right there.
Instead, he fell into the trap of happiness he felt when the auditors told him that the audit would be posted by April 6.
He should have kept that information to himself, but instead he wanted to share the happiness with the shareholders.
There are somethings that simply can not be shared until they are ready. These audits were one of those.
Where is the smoke? Certainly not in S&L. You can enter any of the 3 existing locations anytime you want.
Are you claiming that S&L doesn’t work? Doubting the revenues of AMFE is doubting S&L after all.
SLAP THE ASK!
Agree with this. I’m all for AMFE, but I want to see this finally confirmed, and not through tweets
There are 2 types of problems. The problems you can solve, and the problems you can’t.
If you can solve a problem, then it’s not really a problem.
And If you cant, then it’s not really a problem either because there is nothing you can do.
So really, there are no problems at all
Don’t news usually come out by 9:30?
Undoubtedly. The question has always been “when?”.
I’m trying my best to not think on it at all
I bought 10k shares earlier today. Now I’m up to 160k :)
He maybe just as pissed of as you, but notice how constructive his posts are. They add to the discussion instead of wallowing in the depression.
Guys it’s ok to be pissed off. It’s ok to acknowledge that the communications regarding the audits have been terrible, but if we do not move past that, we will be contributing ourselves to the “drip drop” that so many here claim.
If you only talk about the negatives, new people will only see the negatives, and old investors will want to sell themselves.
Take this as a challenge. Yes the audit has been a problem. What has the company done in the past 8 months? What have they accomplished? What is their plan for the future?
Those who only complain about the audit also complain about the steady drop in PPS ignoring that perhaps the low volume has something to do with the overall negative vibe that the board has.
Is this an exciting time to buy? Why? Is this an opportunity? How so? Can this be life changing?? Are there good things to point out? What are they?
Fluff? So making money is fluff now? Are you serious?
Are you actually serious? This is the most incredible thing I have seen so far, an investor who believes that making money is fluff.
WOW.
Midtown is the LARGEST S&L location to date. The flagship location. And this is fluff? Ok...?
So many people were harping on the liquor license and justifiably so, as this usually nets each location DOUBLE the revenues. And this is fluff? Ok...?
PENETRATING THE US market? How is this fluff in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM? And doing it for FREE nonetheless! And this is fluff??
Increasing the clients for NSI by 66% in a couple of months is fluff? Ok?
I won’t say next. I NEED an explanation for this. Please, go on. I have my popcorn ready.
Proyections :
Midtown opening ?
Liquor license ?
More growth. We got NSI and distribution ?
Penetrating the US market ?
Next!
Huh. Looks like he did. Never mind me then. Nothing to see here. Move along
He needs to learn how to phrase those progress reports then.
“As stated by .....”
“...... told us that”
Etc.
By not quoting the information, we can only assume that the information comes from Roger himself.
I much rather he avoid the topic from now on altogether. By this time it is obvious that he can not provide certainty with audit dates, therefore he should stop giving them.
Cry me a river why don’t you?
We have known for a long time now that the biggest money maker by far is S&L.
We have heard very little regarding GROZONE for the last 6 months or so.
We have heard plenty of information regarding other areas of the business.
If you choose to invest in something, knowing that there is little information shared, that’s on you. If you choose to ignore the information that HAS been shared, which IS the reason for the hype, that’s on you.
EVERY week is a good week for AMFE.
Why? Because AMFE is not an empty shell. It represents a company, and the COMPANY is doing well.
How do I know this? Because the company owns S&L, and S&L is kicking a$$.
How do I know that? Because customers keep piling in EVERY DAY. So much so that they have decided to open more stores, and recently they announced that they would open 1 store in the US. The FIRST location in the US.
Even further, they are I advanced talks to buy Morning. Do you know what that is? It’s a publishing game company that serves over 400 accounts in Europe.
Do you (not you but everyone) recognize what this implies? S&L is starting its route to penetrate ANOTHER important market, the European one. Not only that, but once the acquisition is made EVERY game made by this company will be EXCLUSIVELY distributed by us.
There is one thing that must also be pointed out. It has been discussed that S&L is uniquely positioned to discover which games will be successful games. Game designers look forward to testing their games out in S&L precisely for this reason. Now, what do you think will happen when we finally buy Morning? We will give their games (our games) some preferential treatment won’t we? We will test those games out before they are published, thereby increasing the probabilities of said game to be a success.
And this is only one game publisher that we know we are about to buy. What happens when another publisher wants to be bought by us? (As has been hinted at already) The probabilities of us launching a successful game will continue to increase.
And what happens if we publish a successful... or VERY successful game?
CHA CHING!
At the end of the day, that’s the only thing we as investors should worry about.
Is the company making money?
The answer is a resounding YES.
Will the company make more money?
Again, a resounding YES.
Why are you worried? If you fail to see this as the opportunity that it is, that’s on you. Some people will take advantage of it, and some will lament themselves for having had the opportunity and wasting it.
Whatever rocks your boat.
I’ll say this. I don’t really care how other stocks are doing compared to AMFE. That does not bring anything to the table.
Some stocks are doing better, some are doing worse. Some are doing FAR better and some are doing FAR worse. So? How does that affect my position?
I am invested in AMFE for several reasons, but mainly because I am certain that this stock will be worth FAR MORE in the future than it is now. What’s more, I have reasons which sustain my belief.
If you want to post about the reasons that make you pick AMFE over other stocks, that’s fine, but the fact that “X” stock is doing worse or “Y” stock is doing better does not help my analysis at all.
So? That’s his right. If the information is false, that can be corrected by the board.
We are no ones moms nor dads to tell them how they should act or post.
Nor are we responsible for any shares except the ones we ourselves own. If someone wants to sell a million shares right now, that is his (her) right. I may believe it is an extremely foolish sell, but they are not my shares to sell.
“At the time of the acquisition, NSI had a distribution customer base of over 300 accounts across Canada. We are pleased to announce that the client base has now grown to exceed 500 accounts across Canada.”
You are grossly underestimating the value of NSI.
Every other Pink stock would KILL to have ANY sort of revenue generating business, especially one that is generating MILLIONS and GROWING.
We now have 2 revenue generating businesses, and both of them are growing... quickly. If that is not something worth talking about, then what is?
When are the Q3’numbers due?
I don’t think there is any need to call anyone out on their decision to sell. That is their choice, just as we choose to hold, or buy.
I do think that for those who have eyes to see, this is an incredible opportunity. The company is:
1. Generating income
2. Growing VERY quickly
3. Expanding to new markets.
Ever heard of the maxim, “buy low, sell high”?
Does anyone honestly think we are ANYWHERE NEAR the potential highs of the company?
On the other hand, it is clear that we are very much near the lows.
What? March was a VERY powerful month for the company, and thus far we have already made more than 40% more money than we made in ALL 2017. Things are getting real good man
That’s good to hear. You are one of the good posters.
I do hope Roger stops giving dates for that which must not be named. At this point it will be far better for it to appear unannounced.
Ok, let’s think about penny stocks for a moment.
What do we normally see in penny stocks?
- Scams
- No revenue
- shells
- no business to speak off
- good ideas with no follow through
That is 90% or more of the penny stocks that you will see. And I am being very generous here.
What do we see in AMFE?
- a business
- multi million dollar revenue
- new acquisitions which add to the bottom line
- exponential growth
Even taking into consideration the whole audit situation, (which , granted, has NOT been handled well) we are still left with a business, and not just any business, but a THRIVING business.
Breathe for a moment. Look at this LOGICALLY.
Has the communication regarding the audits been mishandled? Yes. No sane person will be able to deny that.
HOWEVER
What does the company have to offer? What are the RESULTS we can judge AMFE by?
3 locations, (soon to be AT LEAST 4 this year)
A distribution branch which has been growing exponentially. (You can confirm this looking them up in Amazon, a recent post talked about this)
A growing list of EXCLUSIVE games to sell and distribute
We finally broke into the US market, and more importantly, this new location will be PRIVATELY FUNDED. This location will NOT impact negatively the numbers of the company.
Think about this logically. Imagine a balance and weigh the pros and cons against each other. The pros dramatically out weigh the cons.
This is NOT a scam. This company is actually making money, and EVERYTHING points to the company making even more money in the VERY NEAR future.
Thanks man. Really, all we can do is focus on the things that matter, which is the things that are getting done.
Bears will be bears. Bulls will be bulls, but no one can deny what’s on our faces:
3 locations in Canada
Midtown open for the entirety of the 3rd qt.
Licor license done
ENTRY TO THE US MARKET, (AT NO EXPENSE TO THE COMPANY)
NSI is doing great
Distribution is doing great
Really, this is a challenge to the board. I challenge you to make a post over EACH of these points. Can you?
This could also be seen in another way:
1) Tomorrow is the last day to buy at these ridiculously low prices.
Or
2) Tomorrow is the last day you need to wait for you to enter real cheap.
I’m thinking that whatever happens tomorrow, the results will be seen on Monday. Very much doubt that the filling of the audits and the submission of the uplist will happen premarket, and at the same time, very much expect longs to wait until 11:59 before accepting defeat.
So either way, the results will be seen on Monday
I love talking about S&L.
AMFE just perplexes me.
+ distribution + the acquisition of a publishing game company (+ the accounts they have) + the private funding of a 4th location
Ok you have a point. But I think we have to be careful with that all or nothing mentality.
If I told you that I would give you $100 by Monday, and come Monday I didn’t give you the promised money, you would be understandably mad. But if on Wednesday I gave you $150 instead of the $100, you would still take it, no?
I understand that missing dates is a bad idea. It gives off the wrong impression, but everything has to be taken in context.
If the ONLY thing we had to believe was Roger’s word, then yes, any violation to his word would be extremely negative.
HOWEVER, we do not have *only* his word. We have past results. RESULTS.
If S&L was only an idea, then yes, I would agree that anything that interferes with that idea would be harmful. That is NOT the case. S&L, is growing incredibly quickly. Can ANYONE refute that?
I have a question for all those who are waiting for the audit to invest: why?
I get it, its important to have a 3rd party confirmation regarding the numbers, or “the books”. To be honest, prior to Feb/March, I was also on the side that thinks that the audits would give our company much more credibility. That hasn’t changed, they will, but how much credibility do you need before you invest?
March was a POWERFUL month. A private investor chose to completely fund a corporate location, AND he committed to opening a further 6 locations in the next 5 years.
Let us not forget the acquisition of Morning and the entry to the European market.
You can not fake brick and mortar. We KNOW S&L has been growing, and will continue to grow for the foreseeable future.
1 investor decided to open 7 locations in 5 years. 1.
Why are you waiting?
It’s all good. Once S&L opens in Chicago, these board game cafes will also become our customers. Who will they buy their ganes from?
Sooo we are getting close to the next batch of news...
There is a pattern of news releasing on the early days of the month, the exception being February, due to the Quarter being released on the 14th.
So hopefully we get news on the next following days...
GROZONE has yet to provide results that support that claim.
Until other meaningful news are released, AMFE is 95% S&L
