We are taking the government down and the biggest fraud of our nation's history will be exposed soon enough!
I don't know anything about anything except what is right and wrong. Our government is WRONG!
EOM
Depends on what you think oil will do. They trade on par more or less. If you believe oil will be back under $45, then wait for that and jump in then. When I saw oil at $30's I said it's now or never and took a position. Don't see it going back there.
JMO.
I haven't followed in a while. Any news like Ayurn is out or something?
Finally sub penny. So much for a JV. This pig is roasted.
Me too. This is beyond old. Their only strategy is to delay so they can drag out the dividends as much as they can. They know it can't go on forever but they are trying their best to do just that.
The mighty oak doesn't fall with one swing of the axe. Every bit helps and you're forgetting Berk's offer was before discovery. The government knows it's gonna lose. Once they can't delay anymore it's game over.
Exactly. Great stuff!
By rule, nothing said in any mediation by the participants, including the Circuit Mediator, may be disclosed to anyone in the Fourth Circuit Court or any other court that might ever deal with the case. Disclosure is also prohibited to any person outside those participating directly or indirectly in the mediation process. This applies in all cases, including ones referred for mediation by the Court. This court rule does not apply to any settlement agreements. However, this in no way prohibits the parties from separately contracting that the terms of their agreement shall remain confidential.

Then ignore it.
About a month.
I'll never have the understanding you do with these matters, and sincerely appreciate your work and glad you're on our side!
Hope to meet you in Vegas!
When I grow up can I be like you? :)
Absolutely nothing
In a perfect world, yes. But we all know how the world works. If the rule of law prevails, then Hillary would be in jail and you know it.
Since Judge Sweeney was appointed by Bush, a reasonable assumption is she's republican. Which is why she's not going out of her way to cover up Obozo's corruption like most Dems would. Good for our cause.
Very true sir!
NO WAY! I bet we were there at the same time. Andersen was my first duty station and I was there April 93-Sep 94 and was there for that giant earthquake.
Just started my terminal leave last week :)
Wow. So if this Sperling character advises Hitlery too, you can be sure she wouldn't release the GSEs either. That family is addicted to money and would never give up these cash cows.
Was the order to compel released after hours and should we expect some upside today as a result?
That's good to know. I'm just getting anxious because time is of the essence here. Thanks for the good insight. It's nice to have expertise on the board
Lol. You go man!
I hope you're right, but history says you're not. Nothing indicates this will speed up at all
So technically the government can still execute their plan to abolish the GSEs by tacking on filing after filing, creating delays, until they run out of capital in 2018.
Once again, I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of urgency displayed by the courts here.
Why would there be? We're only past the 150 day deadline by a month.
Of course, the "greatest " is subjective. But I think you understood what I meant. I find it unfortunate that we have the resources to accomplish what you correctly identified as problem areas, but government bureaucracy and endless red tape gets in the way.
I'll give you a stupid example:
When the military sends me somewhere and I have to fly commercial, they pay transportation, per diem, etc. ok. The airport is 1 hour from me. A cab costs 100 euro while a one way rental costs about 45. But because they refuse to authorize a rental car on the orders, I have to use a cab. Multiply that thinking by 100 million other similar examples and we understand why we can't balance the budget. SMH.
Interesting info. Thanks. I would contend that percentage is pretty bad for "the greatest country in the world."
There's definitely room for improvement. As for the funding comment, I'm in the military. I can tell you that lack of funds isn't the problem. It's gross negligence and inefficient use of the funds available which is the problem. Raising taxes to solve government problems is like giving liquor to an alcoholic to cure his withdrawals.
No, not at all actually. I own a modest position but would like to accumulate more as I'm able
Openly venting frustration here... What in the world is taking so long with the appeal ruling? It's getting ridiculous at this point. Our court system sucks.
Naturally, but the part about the CDOs was eye opening. Unreal.
Finally saw "The Big Short". I didn't realize how jacked up the whole system was.
Volume has been nice recently. That always precedes spikes
Anyone think this could head back to $.25?
Where do they expect to get the funds to build these? Will the customer have to pay up front? If so, good for shareholders. If not, bad for us because that will most certainly mean dilution
I wonder why this news wasn't on MW or DJ yet.
No doubt. He might have inside info and needs to be careful on what he says. Moving furniture....yea right
