Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) will introduce a draft of legislation tomorrow that would legalize marijuana on the federal level, according to Marijuana Moment.
The bill, the Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act, will be unveiled Wednesday at a press conference.
While details of the proposed legislation are not yet available, the purpose of tomorrow's release is to spur discussion for a formal introduction of the bill later on.

First Manhattan Co. reduced its stake in OPKO Health, Inc. (NASDAQ:OPK) by 37.0% in the first quarter 2021, Holdings Channel.com reports. The institutional investor owned 40,750 shares of the biotechnology company’s stock after selling 23,950 shares during the period. First Manhattan Co.’s holdings in OPKO Health were worth $174,000 at the end of the most recent quarter.

The 2nd Q financials to be released in August could be a surprised earnings could take OPK to $6 in August is very possible.

Somehow I can’t see revenues declining 40% in this quarter according to Zacks and the Street. They have OPK at .09 for the year I believe ( I maybe wrong but it’s what I remember from reading) I know the testing has declined some but for OPK it may not be that drastic. The shareholder or stakeholders meeting is on the 24th and hopefully we get some other kind of news surprise and maybe some future outlook ( which OPK has always failed to do ) overall compared to the same time last year in July OPK surge to $6. Hopefully we should hear some news about the testing with the cruise lines . It would seem the norm from now on just like flying overseas is a requirement for testing and it should go into the next 18 months or so or maybe for the next few years ?

Wallstreet have a target of .02 for this qtr. Last qtr was .05 . This qtr should be .04 meaning going over expectations. I also believe the move could be a bit faster to $6 this time….. 2 months for now and a 50% return is very possible.

I have to disagree with you . Once marijuana is federally legalized it’s going to be a whole different ball game . It will be like selling illegal alcohol if you don’t have a license and the penalties will be outrageous. That is why is taking so long to get this passed with all these kind of issues .

It seems that Frost is starting to sell parts of OPKO Health and he is getting ready to make the big move . My take is that he would want to have Somatrogon on the market and Rayaldee licensing deals done before as well.

If and when federal legalization happens is billions of dollars added to the industry overnight . It’s another .com era.

The stage IV approval of Somatrogon is at least a 40% gain .

The same time last year $OPK has about 130 million shares short and PPS went around $3 to $6 in 30 -45 days now OPK has about 58 million shares short that is more than half of short interest off the table. So do we go to $8 this time around? That would be sweet
