that is a MM, last time it was a short
20101028|GVDI|888|143638|O
there is that 888 paint again. the other day it came across as a short on finras site. the only short volume was 888
yup. i don't see why, the sun isn't even up in cali yet
i agree. at least that tells us they know how to run a real estate business. and I'm pretty sure if it is adavco they are taking public, they are doing it for a good reason, like having major things coming. From what I gather the two main situations a company goes public is when they have capital and want exposure for further growth, or they want to raise capital, but the website tells us they already have money. I think they probably were planning on doing this before the fall but held back waiting for a good entry point. So with the info we have, and If our speculation is correct about adavco being the company, there is huge upside, and I'm debating wether to sell too many shares even at our speculated price targets.
every time I look for more DD, the more it makes me want to take out a loan to buy more!!
from a previous filing of pebble beach
just saying that all week the average was 90% seems very high
another question I have is where is gvdi incorporated ie. which state, because I read that in certain states after a R/M, a company can't increase the sharecount by more than 20% without shareholder vote.
i apologize again for the comment that started this all, but after a week when I and I'm sure many others had their hopes up, didn't get what we wanted, just tried to lighten the atmosphere. with that being said i think it is perfectly normal for people to be discouraged after all we play the pennies which for most is the excitement of a chance at a huge gain and not waiting 6 months for 10%, so when a stock is stagnant all of us instant gratification investors(gamblers) get antsy, but i hope noone got too antsy as to dump at bid on a friday because monday is always a better day to announce something and it is the beginning of the month which is always a good start of a new balance sheet.
i don't know how to interpret the finra shart sale data but last week it was about 90% all week long
just trying to gel a laugh, sorry for not being pessimistic
who needs viagra, thinking about GVDI plus news gives me an erection and it lasts for more than 4 hours!
i've also read that the timeframe to complete a R/M, low end is a few weeks high end is about 4 months, so i wouldn't be too worried if we don't get a filing today or the beginning of next week. a major factor in the process are market conditions and this is a very complex market at this time.
Another reason why we may be waiting.
exactly, the website says they have been undergoing changes for the last two years. their name golden valley developement doesn't sound like a food distributer to me. and in their past fins they mentioned about farm real estate or something. and the Davis', seem pretty successful with what they have done in the past, i mean let's face it the tight float, all it would take is a little fluff to turn this into a 10 bagger from here, but they aren't bsing, in my opinion.
when i see people complain about the fact we have had no updates it makes me laugh because when i think of a merger i think it is something that should be kept hush hush until it goes through. i believe vcty was another merger play who have been putting out prs but i don't see anything going through or pps moving. maybe the fact that it is a husband and wife team, they could be under a little more scrutiny by sec. for all we know they could have had the filing bounced back for small details, i've heard of that before
i agree, if you look at past posts on other boards falafel was looking for an under the radar company with a low float with a reason to move up. kind of smart if you ask me, after all isn't that what we are supposed to do? if you put recent current info, low float, and .000s share price with a coming NH3 conference which is what PYBX has said they were into, it was perfectly set up for a run. now with the company giving no update after the conference, I can understand why someone wanted to dump their shares, makes perfect sense. but in no way do i think it was anymore than that. with that said if the company had no news to put out i'm glad they didn't BS because they are still credible in my opinion, no reason yet to think otherwise. I lost alot of my profit in the dump but am riding freebies so I'll give PYBX a shot still.
i would have to agree, maybe a forward split? but on another note i work in the construction industry and many projects that were in the works got cancelled due to the economy, and right now is the last of the downside for us on the east coast, new projects are coming and we will be in a boom once again in the real estate and commercial development so i would think the other harder hit areas won't be far behind. In my opinion gvdi is making a perfect move here because the return they will get in over a few year period from now will be huge. My personal indication of the real estate economy in an upswing is the price of sheetrock, seriously now. When i see the price start to go up i know that construction is moving up, after all it is a natural resource. i've already noticed a little rise which indicates to me things are getting better, so to be in real estate right now pretty much at the bottom only gives room to go up.
yeah i don't see how you can put too much emphasis on key resistance points because the filings are gonna determine where this is gonna go, and if everything goes as we expect, this will be pretty much a new comany with a new valuation. I think if the merger goes through, we can put a target on this with the info we have, and I'm sure they have new development plans in the works so in my opinion there is no way to tell where it is headed until we get all the info. kind of a waste of time speculating. but there is no doubt that if things go through we will head north, and that is good enough for me. i'm debating on going all in on this but i'm an inexperienced trader who has learned some expensive lessons, but this is why i play the pennies, if I wanted a steady 5 % i'd buy mutual funds. Hoping for grand slam
hey great info, i posted something similar to that a while back and tried to dig deeper. here is an interesting paper about R/Ms if you haven't seen it yet. it is called the truth about reverse mergers, from the

in my opinion weeks is up to 6 after 6 weeks i would say months. also look at some other rm plays, they fluff and fluff and then what. I would rather have the filing when the deal is done and then news after on potential revenues or whatever to continue the run.
yes i concur. 90 days from the form 15 will be up friday if you count the 2 31 day months
and its only 8:18 in cali
yeah i had to grab some of those another 20k for me. I don't mind using unsettled funds for this one.
over the last few days volume has been slow, but we got some huge buys, wonder if it is ceo, i mean even at .0003 you could buy 100 mil for 30 k
it is a fact that ICOA diluted into the last run, float was 800 mil plus now its 1.4bil or whateverit is. they also stated in a pr that they would dilute. with that said it doesn't mean the stock is done but i think it is gonna take a little time. the .50 per share is in cash equivalent credits which just makes their balance sheet look better, and their are restrictions on what they can use the credits for. my guess is If I gave a company 10 mil in cash equivalent credits for stock i could have bought for 10k, there would have to be another reason why i would do that. because this company will never be worth the 50 cents a share as it is now. i mean for 10 mil they could have bought 10 bil. shares at .0005
read back to the posts when icoa was just starting their run, plenty of contracts. i live pretty close but haven't stopped by yet but someone on this board has. definately a real company.
i'm not a basher but .50 is not reality, unless they got bought out by at&t or something, iknow myself would be happy with .005 but to think a 500 dollar investment will return 500k is absolutely nuts. who would be able to hold after .05? that would be tough. I'm all for optimism but come on guys. when i read the pr it says cash equivalent credits. what does that mean?

man i missed this one, oh well. i think this company will be fine. i spent some time in Ukraine last year and that country is just starting to explode!! About 60 years ago most of the country was rubble, only recently are the commies getting out of office. I personally would love to start a business over in ukraine
the bottom line is this stock was front loaded big time by a couple people, then got pumped and ran hard on no recent news basically the nh3 conference with the recent filings. we had a huge short squeeze going on because if you saw the trading action this stock surprised everyone including MMs. Then said frontloaders decided to sell and let the MMs off the hook, hence the drop. It is perfectly reasonable for people to be cautious on this one with no recent developements. the run it had won't be repeated without something from the company. The selloff sucked because we had the MMs pretty good here and IMO this thing would have taken off into pennies if the major holders wouldn't have sold, i mean this thing was ultra thin and it is hard to find a current info stock with a 400 mil float trading at .0003. I think this stock would have made a few new millionaires had timing been different, not to say I don't think it will go but i don't think it will be explosive like it was without a catalyst, ie good factual news.
nice tight spread .017 x .018
yeah i think were real close. i got the edgar rss feed running on the laptop the last few days, cause when the news hits i wanna watch tick for tick!
last wednesday we had 210 mil short volume out of 290 mil total, it looks like most was at 6 or 5 i can't really tell but MMs are not in the business of losing $ so i wouldn't be worried, let them cover and we'll go up, maybe not right away but soon
75 mil buys to 5 mil sells on i hub trades
and its not even 8 am an the west coast
man i'm waiting for a wire to clear i wanna measure the ask
is the fuse lit? or is this MMs trying to see how thin this really is.
i left a few messages but no return call. i think the old mod was full of shi*
i think the sudden volume is in anticipation of 3Q fins, if you remember 2Q fins are what kinda killed it before, but i believe the company stated before they were gonna show a loss because of the move they did, and 2Q was before calypso i believe. so a financial report showing 500,000 or better should give us a good run
