Today was a perfect example of what I mean about the short interest coming and going in waves. No news, PRs, or financial statements and the thing jumps 10%. Many days it moves like it's not even part of the NASDAQ
I realize nobody visits this board, but I will still post my buy and sell points to prove that RINO can be successfully traded. Ten percent profit is nothing in the sub-penny world, but because this is a larger cap I can buy in big blocks without upsetting the price. That means I made about a thousand dollars in unrealized profit today - letting it ride.
Looks to me some of those cups may need a small handle. If no breakout today, it will come soon enough.
An industry peer would make for an even more compelling comparison. KB* looks to be in dev phase and the high growth factor is based on the ol' "major scientific breakthrough coming" angle. How that can be parlayed into a profitable business plan is anybody's guess.
IFXY on the other hand has real products and real sales. They may not ever command a 100+ PE, but they absolutely should get a multiple of some kind.
Have at it Mr. Vader. Looks like the price is right @ .0075. Luckily I was able to average down with that after chasing a little too much this morn.
I was hitting the 9 ask for the first 10 minutes and still only got half-filled!
Wild action already this morning!
Indeed, many of the same qualities as IFXY. That one is a sure winner too, but I still have plenty of powder for another. Reading list tonight will start with the DD you folks posted. Thank you Masked and Bala [both just marked].

Wow this place needs more boardmarks! I'm looking at AMFE now... Friday's 2nd half move -- glided so easily on minuscule volume didn't it?
True, though it possibly evens out as you suggest. The term 'float lock' is not really accurate in our case. Closer to the truth would be to say that "we have a large amount of the float tied up by committed longs". That's just too much to say!
I did look through the list and saw that most people have recently sent updates to TFL. So maybe it isn't too far off after all. I don't think there is a count padding issue, though I am a little guilty of that one myself. My shares come from several accounts and it is a pretty odd number something like 3,983,376 so I took the liberty of rounding.
No one here is stupid. Heck, if we do pop this one huge I would very much like to visit Denmark. Been to Europe several times, but not your part of the world .
Is there a way to look up the daily boardmark history? It might be nice seeing it as a simple line chart....we've gone up about 20% over the last few days, right?
Risk level is something each individual has to assess for themselves. We all believe IFXY is a GREAT opportunity, but if you want the textbook answer: there is no successful investor on earth that will advocate putting all your cash into one stock. ALWAYS keep extra powder on hand. KNOW WHY you are buying a stock. If the only answer is, "because I think it will go up"...., that is not a good enough reason. FORM a plan. ALWAYS be mentally prepared for something not going as hoped.
This part isn't directly specifically at you Peter, but several other postings lately seem to be fishing for re-assurance; one of us to keep providing pledges that the stock will go up whatever amount on whatever day. Anybody playing IFXY like an all-in bet at the WSOP .... well, that is not the right way to invest IMO.
That MACD histogram is looking sweet!
10/5 is probably the SEC date automatically generated from past filings, whereas 9/25 is the company self-imposed date. We'll know Wednesday if Mr. Aiello is a man of his word.
One of the new things I was referring to was the description for Event #6 -- very informative explanation in layman-like language.
re: BLOKB BC, are you thinking the bounce would come from buy-out rumors? There is also a possibility the company can save itself by re-inventing as a automated kiosk network ala Redbox.
i wouldn't be surprised to see a BUYOUT
Hold tight! Think of each share as one of your children!
Loving the action today....looks like longs are finally overcoming the day traders.
Well, I have to work today too :) -- I guess a better way to state my point is: watching every tick tends to amplify a person's underlying level of confidence. If one bought their shares based on hope and fear of downside, it will play with those insecure feelings. And you're right - if the shares were bought from strength and conviction, you can laugh at the intra-day MM games!
Watching every live tick on a stock you care about does get kind of addicting, doesn't it? Invariably though, these dramatic moves start playing with the emotions a bit.
So, to break this habit, AND as a display of confidence (regarding the end result), I'm not going to even follow the intra-day price action today. I'll check in again with you guys and gals after the trading day.
Cordially,
DrZhivago
Usually it's 'buy on the rumor, sell on the news', right?. In this case, we expect the 10-K to contain information that will make this current PPS seem puny by comparison. Because IFXY is so under the radar, this should be a case of "buy before the news, sell (at a time in the future) AFTER the news. Additionally, BC, myself and others have stated very clearly we believe in the future of this company well past the 10-K
Nice holding! Welcome aboard (officially).
I know! What if I got cute and tried to sell a small amount on Tuesday. I'd be thinking at time, "la la la, good to take a little profit....la la la....made a little money...." Then BAM!! An after hours 8-K out of nowhere! Price gaps the next morning and I can't re-buy. Even with all of these shares, I feel every one is precious and don't want to waste them.
Imagine if IFXY was given a special pass to be listed at this price and share structure on the Nasdaq. It would almost spontaneously explode to its true value! In OTC land it has to be discovered in a world where most traders don't even read financial reports.
Maybe since IFXY is more of a 'real' company, perhaps it is more affected by large market forces than the average pinkie. Interesting...
This type of bailing is exactly what I expected:

The saving grace is the stock itself. Once I saw that the Trimax acquisition was not being factored into the price, I knew IFXY was destined to move regardless of any action created by the float lock. Plus I'm more confident than ever the "right" people are going to pick up the shares. If we see large transaction buying tomorrow, we will know our float is more solid than before.
Was that more bid selling?
@ peter2412christian: Stocks in a strong bullish phase occasionally get over-heated and need a short rest to re-balance (consolidate). One visual clue is looking at a simple line chart -- the upward line starts to look like a parabolic curve. If you have an engineer's mind, it helps to imagine the parabola as the wall of some kind of structure. When that wall starts looking like it will collapse under its own weight, a price correction is called for. This is just the nature of all market driven securities, real estate, you name it. Not possible for a stock to go up every single day.
In the bigger picture, we are fine. The MM games only work temporarily.
To clarify: Gang, this doesn't mean I don't support another push...just that we should be satisfied with at least 18 as a close. Go ahead and take it above 20 if you want!
Even a close at 18 feels okay to me. We've had so many green days in a row... would be healthy to take a short breather.
As if on cue, here come da money again!!
my alotted posts are getting low
Good to see you're hanging in there Wooley. I am not trying to not pump....don't want anyone buying if they are not comfortable. My goal is to provide observations that will let the "right" people find IFXY and see what I see.
Notice where the price keeps going back to today. .016 is exactly where the big buys came in yesterday.
My impression is that several investors in the float "lock down" group were so new to this they didn't even understand HOW to sell the Ask or WHY that is an important part of being a team player.
BC, this is exactly why I haven't yet signed up for your mailing list. Is it going to have some sort of membership criteria?
Okay got 'em. Ask should go to 7 now.
Trying to get some of those...order not filling yet.
This movement is based on the fact that the Wimax acquisition was not factored into the stock price. If the driver was based on a PR or rumor, I'd be concerned. Not in this case though. The company is being re-valued. IFXY will never need to revisit yesterday's gap either.
Here we go...another gap coming
