Doctors that have used them do use them. Where are you getting the information that they are not using them? Your "expectations" are not realistic. Have you ever even worked with a doctor before?

Its my understanding in this case that the award was put into a litigation account to be paid to the attorneys for defending against law suits against the company for product faults and to use the money to proceed with the current case against J&J. This means the money won from the first suit goes to pay for the second current suit against J&J. Effectively J&J has paid to have DECN sue them. We shall see if it was folly or fame on the 6th. We then can hope for a hat trick. Eh?

Sealed at the request of J&J I believe which is typical of cases they lose.
