fwh3334zeke, one more. You've posted that quite often. Why is that good for escrows. Thanks to all that offer input.
I'm done today. Just want what's best for escrows.
fwh33334zeke, if possible, I like to get info from fellow escrow holders. Was that 4B something good for escrows?
How could Judge Mary been in on this alleged heist? Iv'e not seen that speculated before. If so, did she, too, feel some heat with the Nate Thoma revelations? Thus, making way to include neglected WM shareholders? Somebody, please put this together for me. I just feel escrows might be on third base in this deal. I want to get to home.
I've read about "Project West" that seemed positive for escrows. How so? Or was this just an alleged JPM ploy?
Who got all of Washington Mutual's real estate? Did the estate (escrows) or JPM in this sweetheart deal?
Will hedge funds aggressively sue if JPM gets a "multi-100-billion firm" for 1,9 billion and escrows gets little or nothing?
I believe it's about $1/escrows for each 10B. Is that correct?
"what would both 24B and 100B fetch escrows common per share?"
"Who thinks you can by a multi-100-billion firm for 1,9 billion"
If this proves to be the case, hopefully, this can somehow be aggressively challenged in court by somebody like the hedge funds.
Just out of curiosity, what would both 24B and 100B fetch escrows common per share?
worker, if that would be the case, what would escrows still get out of that scenario?
If "only" the management fees, who would own the portfolio then?
Thanks ItsMyOption. Sure hope your scenario comes to fruition.
Please interpret this for me. Why is this court document positive for escrows? Especially, the listing of all these trusts. How does this impact escrows?
Like I said, "Wonder how much of the 150B is left for shareholders."
That is the 150B question.
Wonder how much of the 150B is left for shareholders.
AZ, were escrows drawing interest over this extended time period?
"the DB litigation ? was a purposeful, and shameful distraction allowed for the FDIC and JPMC to delay the inevitable' ... (legal ? yes' ... Right ? NO WAY')"
I hope you are correct.
What is the highest potential amount that could be distributed to escrows? $299B + 24B + interest?
Thanks ReikoBlack. I remember being very encouraged by this a long, long time ago.
LG, it's certainly been a frustrating, tiring duration. But I'm feeling better about what might be ahead for escrows. And in, hopefully, the not too distant future.
Thanks LG, that reminded me of why I signed the release. Wonder if the long duration surprised Willingham. "look forward to and support the swift confirmation of the Plan,"
It seemed like Susman made some kind of a positive remark after one of the hearings. Do you recall anything?
LG, who made that "Fair and Reasonable" statement? And was it definitely directed toward escrow holders encouraging the signing of the releases?
It's been so long ago, I just can't remember. But I'm thinking you are are on top of things like this.
LG, have Susman or Willingham ever made any definitive statements regarding this?
"In principle, the same will happen here when the Safe-Harbor assets are reunited with Escrow Shareholders." Please refresh my memory on any statements they have ever made about escrows reaping some of the assets.
Have Susman or Willingham ever made any statements indicating there are retained assets that will be coming to escrows, eventually? I seem to recall some indirect statements from them regarding the settlement and releases. Nothing specific. Maybe they can't. Can somebody please refresh my memory on this?
Would any of you pre-seizure escrow holders be content to just get $1/escrows share just to to get this over with? Or does the very possible heist of the company you invested in and long wait make $1/share a "bitter pill to swallow"?
Were all these big trades "buys"? If so, probably institutional buying.
Lucky, I really hope you are on to something. Anybody else see this reasoning from Lucky as accurate?
dmceng, I like your reasoning. Would have appreciated some kind of official encouragement from somebody official to acknowledge that and pass that along to escrow commons holders. It's been a LONG duration with little if any verification.
That's scary and wouldn't justify the encouragement for the commons to release, would it?
thanks hotmeat, you are a valued poster.
I agree, there were some huge assets that went somewhere. Surely not all these assets to JPM for a measly 1.9B.
zeke, let's say it's the low end 30B. That would probably mean closer to $8 than $1/ share for common, right?
hot, at the low end, 10B, what would the "ball park" figure be for common/per share?
thanks zeke. I changed it in my post. Watcha' think, closer to $8 or a buck a share coming to common?
Samurai, if P's would get 28.6b of that 38.2b would common still get get around $8?
How feasible is getting "$8/common share"? Got a feeling if escrow gets a payout, it will be much closer to $1/common share than $8/common share. Anybody care to opine?
If you could get $1 per escrow share tomorrow, would you take it and be satisfied even after this long wait?
Wonder how much longer until escrows actually gets some "where's the beef" factual news. That's the ONLY thing I'm interested in here.
Somebody, please save me a lot of reading. I left for vacation Sat morning and just returned. Was there anything factually encouraging for escrows since last week's court hearing?
