Do you have a link to the results? I would like to check them out myself. If, as you say, they missed their primary endpoint then their covid test failed. There's so much misinformation on this board it's impossible to sort the wheat from the chaff.
Epeleuton failed it's NASH trial per Terra Pharma. Not sure how similar it is to vascepa.
Epeleuton is 15-hydroxy eicosapentaenoic acid ethyl ester, a synthetic n3 fatty acid derivative of eicosapentaenoic acid.
Thanks.
Don't underestimate him. He attacked Amarin in similar fashion and was instrumental in driving their stock down. He has a following who use his status as an analyst to launch short attacks on the back of his articles. He's a scumbag but he's effective.
Shouldn't Gilead be publishing results from their NASH trial this month? If so, and the results are positive, that would be big news. I wouldn't put much credence in Russia's claim of a vaccine. That happened so fast it's not possible any sort of legitimate study was undertaken.
I figured it was older but there was no date on the article that I could find and I thought it was pretty amusing.
From the article
Coming Data Points
Based upon the companies' July 16 release, the DMC will evaluate the patient data in the Phase II/III Critical patient study again "in four weeks," which puts the next possible data release on about August 13, Thursday of this week.

The best way to get a tick out if it isn't buried is to put oil of some kind on it. It will back out and the head will not be left behind in the bite. I got one tick once while camping and he was just settling in. I literally brushed him off. I got rocky mountain spotted fever anyway. The joys of the great outdoors!
I think the best that can be expected is that the case is sent back to a different judge who will hopefully abide by the justice department's decision to drop the case.
A thorough rundown on rlftf's prosepects.

Not to worry. It isn't based on heavy volume so likely won't hold.
That's so depressing. A doctor standing on formality which denies a woman a chance to live.
I'll bow to your experience. So, this is electioneering. Pretty smart move on Trump's part.
It will certainly go to court because big pharma will definitely sue. Assume he wins in court and Biden is elected. Do you think Biden will reverse that? Not a chance in hell. The optics would be terrible. Assume he loses in court. He can use that as an election issue.
15 minutes is not a hard and fast rule. Questioning can go on longer if the judges so desire.
Thanks for digging that up again. I was looking for the info but couldn't find it. Looking for gov. in all the wrong places. ;)
Not terribly quiet. He's taking a beating from big pharma and they have a lot of clout.
It was discussed here a few weeks ago. IIRC vascepa was approved for use by the cadth and they were to pay 43% of retail price. It is still available at full price, I believe, for Canadians who are not in the government run health care system.
Disclaimer. That's to the best of my memory.
Agreed
Trump is doing this with an executive order. Available to Obama anytime.
He was getting a lot of political donations from BP? Just a thought.
The president just said in his news conference that drug prices in the US will be pegged to the lowest negotiated price in other countries. Since there's now a negotiated price for vascepa in Canada that's less than half the price currently being charged in the US will Amarin have to cut vascepa prices in the US by that much?
Another one?
No. About as far from that as you can get. Air Force pilot and airline pilot. Heavy reader though. I'm the only person I've ever met who loves Moby Dick.
There's a Singer singing a beguiling song to them.
The advertising company.
Looks like the advertising is paying off.
Were those ptab cases?
Looks like the stock was about $7.50 recently then fell off a cliff and flatlined. What's the background?
General Flynn just got his en banc panel of judges. 7 appointed by Clinton and Obama and three appointed by daddy Bush, W, and Trump. If Amarin gets a panel like that, might as well pack it in.
More drugs fail at the phase 2 trial stage than anywhere else. Getting a thumbs up regarding safety is a high hurdle and good news.

10q says no EU approval until early 2021. And what are your opinions on the DOJ investigating AMRN for violating an anti-kickback rule?

Most kickback cases don't bear fruit & take years. It might be False Claims Act case brought by a whistleblower as Amarin mentioned FCA as a possibility. But they begin under seal so might not be FCA case for sure. As successful FCA whistleblower myself,I speak from experience

Amarin spurns would-be marketing partners to launch Vascepa in Europe on its own https://t.co/kY0paeh5ar
That's not the issue. You said Trump was getting a cut. We can have a discussion re: your comment about the government getting a cut, that's legitimate. Misconstruing what Trump proposed to say he's taking a cut is a cheap shot.
Can't help yourself can you. TDS is a terrible thing. Trump said some of the money from the sale should go to the US Treasury.
If cydy is sold to Gilead I will take my profits and move on a happy man. Never marry the stock and never forget why you're investing.
You are correct and this isn't unusual although the timing is unfortunate.
Gilead has 20 billion in the bank. They should buy cytodyn.
Well, there's this. Double plus not good if you're a medical professional I think

I didn't mention hcq in my post so I'm puzzled by your lecture. On the other hand, the Hippocratic oath says first do no harm and despite cmd's disclaimer about it being perfectly safe vascepa does have side effects. Some might even call what he's doing malpractice.
What am I missing here? You're criticizing studies for not meeting standards but you're giving your wife a drug that hasn't been tested for the suspected indication. Not only that but it's not even prescribed for her. Is that correct or did I miss something?
