In September, Lucent was going to do a verification test of NVEI tecnology but the test was postponed. The key word is 'verification'. NVEI knew it would pass and only wanted 'verification' to gain legitamacy for the NVEI tecnology. In the ensuing months it is unreasonable to think that NVEI shut down all testing and development of the technology while waiting for the Lucent test. The engineers developing the tech knew what needed to be accomplished as far as tests, prototypes, etc. etc etc. It is laughable to me that posters on the boards are worrying about certain tests when NVEI has experts in the field who are smart enough to develop the tech; and are certainly smart enough to what tests need to be done. They have been doing the tests all along. We dont know how far they have gone with the testing but they certainly havent been sitting on their hands. It's not prudent or time efficient to divulge every minute detail of the process. Two statements made by management qualify where we are : 1. the tech will be displayed at fall trade shows and 2. NVEI will see revenues from the technology this year. In my mind, to make these two statements it means that the tech is almost ready for marketing. Tests done in house only have to be demonstrated to the outside world. Remember Lucent? They only verified what NVEI already knew and after 6 months NVEI knows a lot more. IF! the statements by management are true I expect developments almost immediately. It is now March and a 9 month lead time to revenues would be impossible without an almost completed project in hand. In fact, 9 months doesn't seem long enough even WITH a product. These are my conclusions based on statements made by management to investors and reported on this and the Raging Bull message boards. If those conversations didn't happen or were misrepresented my logical conclusion is no longer logical. If all the statements are true go down and pick out a new Chevy, Paco, 'cause we gonna be crusin' soon. JIMHO!
