The drop is probably due to lower than expected WWE Network sign-ups...not the WWE expectations but some of their investors.
The number the WWE is standing by is 667,287. I am still impressed with the streaming over my Roku 2 player using an HDMI connection to my TV instead of the standard A/V cables included. HDMI is noticeably sharper than standard A/V.
I know there were some complaints in the video below that reviewed Mania 30 about streaming over the PS3. It could have been the network, the PS3 or their internet connection. I did not see one issue while I was streaming it.
Clay, I just picked up the Penny Stock Survival Guide video series. Is there a download package like your other videos or is it just viewing on-line only with downloadable PowerPoint slides?
Thanks.
Watch Google! They are challenging traditional cable in a few ways as well; in cable offerings as well as broadband with Google Fiber.
The battle for your living room / other entertainment areas in your home with televisions is real and underway.
Wrestlemania 30: what a show! The Hall of Fame sucked but the WWE brought their A game for Mania 30.
Undertaker losing? Shocking. The faces of the fans?! Priceless! I believe Taker is retiring and didn't want to go out undefeated and the lost to Lesnar caught everyone off guard. I had to go back several times just to see the fan reactions. WWE once again hit the emotional button hard and caught us off guard. Awesome!
The Yes Movement just got bigger and better. Cena Heel Turn is coming. I believe we saw a glimpse of it tonight and he may face Bryan as a heel in the not too distant future. I believe once the WWE is confident enough in rotating other superstars to the top (like Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt and many other up and comers), Cena will get the heel turn and begin winding down his in-ring career.
WWE saved the Wrestlemania brand by putting on one helluva show. Bravo!
WWE Network via my Roku player with HDMI connectivity to my TV? Awesome! The stream was flawless, quality is BETTER than cable and price is just too damn good!
I take my hat off to the WWE. They did it! By the way, besides the Undertaker losing taking my dang breath away, Cesaro slamming Big Show over the top rope was the sh@t! It reminded me when Hulk Hogan slammed Andre the Giant in the Silver Dome. Cesaro is ready (he is getting pushed by Cena in the background) and he will shine!
Ok, the WWE Network's streaming held up nicely for the Hall of Fame ceremony but what the hell was THAT production?
That was horrible. They let these guys ramble on and on and on. I fell asleep on Lita's speech because she just kept going on and on and on.
Geez! The ceremony should be about 2.5 - 3 hours tops. This thing ran into almost 4 hours. The "interruption" by Hornswaggle and the mini-bull sucked.
I am watching the Hall of Fame pre-show live and the WWE Network is looking great!
Awesome read. Thanks for posting. McMahon and the WWE has changed the game and their revenue stream has widened tremendously.
While some may look at the short term impact of price differences of traditional PPVs compared to the WWE Network including them, the WWE is well aware of the challenge to not just traditional PPVs but cable in general.
I believe the WWE Network sets the WWE up to be ahead of the curve as cable is slowly becoming obsolete to streaming broadcasts as traditional land line phones to VOIP and cell phones.
No more posting here from me. I have enough research now. Thanks.
What's their business phone number and address? Anyone can create an info@fakecompanydomain.com.
How can I reach out and talk to someone at Social Media Ventures? You won't be able to answer that because no one can't. P&D, baby!
Good educational resources:
StockCharts' Chart School - http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school
ClayTrader's Videos - start with Robotic Trading. His board is here: http://investorshub.advfn.com/ClayTradercom-27618/
ClayTrader's Videos are here: http://claytrader.com/store/
If you have about $1200 - $1400 to spare, go to The Man who brought Japanese candlestick trading to America, Steve Nison. He has an excellent DVD series (Mega Package) on Candlestick Charting, etc. ClayTrader touches on quite a bit of this (and will help you build a great foundation) but Steve Nison's stuff is more detailed and takes it to another level:
www.candlecharts.com - Get the Mega Package if you can. If not, at the very least, pick up his book.
It wouldn't hurt to throw in some learning on how the Economy works as well as Economic Indicators. For Dummies books have some excellent books on this. Learning Financial Analysis and Technical Analysis in addition to learning about how the Economy and Economic Indicators work may help your investing / trading a lot.
Last but not least, paper trade, paper trade, paper trade. OTC companies are usually the worst to cut your teeth on. I would stick with higher exchanges until you learn how the OTC game usually works (generally pump and dumps and companies are not selling anything but shares). Good luck! The above can save you a lot of $$$ if you invest in your education first, practice what you learned and then use small amounts of real money later on the major exchanges while you learn how the shark infested waters of OTC stocks work.
P.S. Take what you read on iHub with a grain of salt. Learn how to research, dig deep for info and monitor the psychology of boards like iHub and Yahoo Finance boards. With experience, you will begin to know who the pumpers are from the helpful posters.
Awesome. You are my new best iHub buddy, BoilerRoom.
Now only is you can get other posters to believe that.
You are mistaken. I am here for educational reasons... to include observing the psychology of traders through postings, see how your postings affect the market and how you deal with point of views that counter yours if you trade in garbage OTC companies.
I have taken several pages of notes, etc. It's for educational reasons. I am watching companies like SMVI on the charts and Level 2 while cross referencing posts, etc.
Try not to take it personal.
SMVI is your usual pump and dump. No real business here. Play it for what it's worth. Just a pumped trade.
Not picking up anything besides more info from you all in my study of trading psychology. That's all. I am not even trading right now. I am in the education phase as a part of my return to the markets later in the year or early next year.
This board is very educational to be a part of. I have moved on from SMVI in terms of cashing out with profit. I continue to engage you guys as part of my study of trading psychology.
Not crying at all. Just simple observation. No more, no less. Carry on.
You are right.
I surely won't be holding stock. I have already passed my SMVI bags on for profit to the next player. The CEO already proved to me that he cannot be trusted to run a legit company. Heck, he cannot be trusted to put out a PR that makes sense and not filled with gobbly gook.
Just look what has become of these domains that SMVI was associated with:
http://www.socialmv.com/
http://PetsPlaces.com/
http://www.PetsPlacesCard.com/
http://www.PetInThe.Net/
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I think they will hit over 1 Million by Mania. Just a guess.
On another note, I watched the press conference on WWE Network. Very little excitement from the audience. Dave Bautista was about the funniest one who actually went off script and had the audience laughing.
Big test of the WWE Network on Sunday. Let's see if their network can hold up to the stress of millions of people streaming Wrestlemania.
I'm psyched, for sure!
Lol! You guys!!!!!
By the way, The Wolf of Wall Street has been released on DVD. That movie is basically about pumping pre-internet (iHub / Yahoo board). It's entertaining and educational. I recommend everyone watch it at least once. Leonardo DiCaprio does an outstanding job of playing the real life stock scammer and I swear, as I was watching the movie, I was thinking about certain postings on iHub.
Great movie!
Lol! Well, since you say I am selling ClayTrader's videos, I might as well plug Steve Nison's videos since he is The Man when it comes to Candlestick Charting. He is the one that brought Candlestick Charting to America from Japan:
http://www.candlecharts.com/
His videos are a bit on the pricey side ($1400 for the Candlestick Course Mega Package) but you will learn a ton, and I mean a ton, about technical analysis from charting to indicators.
Clay touches on some of what Steve talks about but Steve gets very in depth. I wish I would have known about Nison BEFORE I started trading penny stocks. It would have saved me a lot of $$$.
Armed with knowledge from resources including this board and my own independent research into penny companies and the OTC garbage dump, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will not fall for the penny pump garbage ever again in this lifetime. Nison and ClayTrader have forever changed my view of investing and trading and I see better days ahead when I decide to get back into the game.
You are mistaken. Again, ClayTrader's videos built a foundation that led me to The Man himself, Steve Nison. I have learned SO MUCH about candlesticks and technical analysis in such a short amount of time, it's ridiculous.
I am sorry you feel that way. It is nothing personal at all. I don't know if ClayTrader pumps pennies or not. My focus is on the material and education so when I return to investing / trading, I will be able to pick better companies than the OTC garbage companies that I use to pick.
Anyway, try reaching out to ClayTrader and visiting his boards. Engage him with what you are discussing with me. I cannot speak for ClayTrader. I can only speak about the quality of his videos and where I have come from and gone to since reviewing them along with The Man's videos.
One, the videos are educational and applies to technical analysis in general and has absolutely nothing to do with ClayTrader's alleged pumping of penny stocks.
Two, if you read my other posts beyond the one you picked out to misinterpret, you will see I also built on ClayTrader's videos by purchasing Steve Nison's Candlestick Training videos. Nison is The Man when it comes to Candlestick Charting. Clay's foundation led me to even more advanced training.
Nice try on trying to divert away from the scam stocks out here and pumpers lying their way into people's accounts. It doesn't change the fact that iHub is unfortunately filled with posters that will rob you blind through their lies and won't lose an ounce of sleep after cleaning you out....at least not yet.
Phrases of a pump and dumper translated:
1. We are going to da moon!
Translation: You better watch out! I'm in early and will gut you for profit.
2. Sell and move on already! (When company is a known scam)
Translation: You have identified the scam here. Please do us a favor and stop trying to expose it and mess up our potential profit.
3. Bashers are trying to take this down.
Translation: See #2
4. I picked up 5M. Not selling any of my shares.
Translation: I have loaded up the ask side and will be exiting with profit and leaving you with the bags.
5. PMs with threats, etc.
Translation: See #2
6. Get in. This thing is going to pennies!
Translation: Take my bags and give me your money. I know this isn't a real company but I am trying to convince novices and people with weak trading psychologies that it is a real company to invest in.
7. We had a strong close.
Translation: I am setting up my market orders to exit fast with profit.
Lol! SMVI is being softly "suggested" as the next MJ play on that extremely delusional board as well with no real proof. The "company" was previously known for its social media scam sites but now, it is being suggested that the company may go into the MJ business. The power of suggestion, eh?
Pump posters on iHub keep me more entertained than any cable channel television show. The sad part is that some people who fall for the pumps will pay way more for this entertainment than I ever will.
I believe you. More than enough delusional pumping is going on over at the SMVI board to artificially prop it up along with the BS PR put out recently and the recent GoDaddy.com registration of SmediaVentures.com. This has the fingerprints of pump and dump all over it.
The smell from SMVI....same as your normal OTC crap stock.
Good luck with that!
Some people will do whatever they can to part people from their money and don't give two cents if you lost your savings, kid's college fund, etc by following their lies. I am seeing this garbage on the SMVI board where it appears that some traders got together and bought up a lot of SMVI to spark fake interest. I believe those traders went as far as releasing a fake PR with the former CEO's name attached to make it look like it was legit. One only has to read the board's history prior to this current run to see it was dormant and that the CEO was anything but a CEO.
I have warned those on there that the dreaded market order is coming that will knock the bottom out of SMVI but they keep pumping that garbage dump of a company.
Like Janice said, iHub is the medium and they enforce the TOU. They cannot catch everything. It's up to the individual investor / trader / gambler to know what they are dealing with. At the end of the day, iHub is not here to protect us from false info. That's the individual's job. I generally take postings on iHub with about the same seriousness as I do news in The Enquirer. Some postings are informative but the majority are just mind games to get you psyched up into handing your money over into some garbage dump of a company.
No matter how much you or anyone post warning people and trying to educate people about the rampant scams stocks out here, there is a new sucker born daily that will believe the hype.
Good movie to watch: The Wolf of Wall Street.
The psychology surrounding investing / trading SMVI is very educational. That's a strong reason to monitor the activity of SMVI and the board.
I'll give that to you that SMVI may go up. However, it's going to get knocked back down to 0001s by Market orders.
Last warning. Good luck.
Not before the market orders hit it. Trust me, I know what I am taking about. SMVI will be hit by market orders to take it down. It never fails in these dead companies that were falsely pumped back up.
Market order! Remember those two words as you push the stock up and then you can't exit fast enough because someone floods the markets with shares.
I stand by that statement 100%. I truly believe that the SMVI ticker is being ran more by a group working together and the company is still as it was 2-3 years ago. Thayer is not involved this time around.
Legal and OTC companies.....hard to use both in the same sentence. Good luck!
Mark my words: A huge market order will knock the bottom out of SMVI very soon. This company is no exception from the normal penny stock.
Raymond, this is exactly how it went down and will culminate, IMO:
SMVI was identified as a dormant stock, no activity. A few people got together to buy shares in SMVI to spark interest and then, registered SMVI a new website and sent out a PR using Thayer's name.
Next, when the price hits a certain point, those in the know will market order to exit out of the blue, leaving bag holders again in SMVI. Thayer is not involved this time around.
SMVI is the same as it was 2-3 years ago. Nothing new besides the fake interest.
Lol! The PR and the recent registration of the website along with posting history from 2 years ago are huge red flags about SMVI.
What usually happens with company plays like SMVI are market orders. When SMVI hit a certain price per share, watch the market orders knock the bottom out of it.
I have seen it done way too many times to not recognize that it is setting up again here in SMVI.
There is a reason SMVI hasn't traded in the last 2-3 years. The company's former leadership has gone silent since 2011. There is a ton of cross referenced research from 2-3 years ago on this board about the CEO Thayer, how he hid behind a PO Box, no one could get in touch with him and various other pieces of info surrounding the legitimacy of this company.
It's hard to believe that Mr. Thayer would run off and leave many bag holders (me being one) and suddenly make a turnaround with SMVI to cause such a run. IMO, SMVI doesn't pass the smell test and the PRs and recently registered website (3/26/2014) leads me to believe that Mr. Thayer may not be involved this time around with the PRs released under SMVI.
Good luck.
