So, BBW, please help me understand. Is there or will there be 2.5B shares authorized if 1M preferred are converted to 1B common? Or, will that 1B be part of the 1.5B AS? Thanks & Go SVFC >>> $$$
Do either of you guys want to "marry my sister"? If SVFC gets into the Dollars, you guys will have more $$$ than the Drs working with SVFC. Except the Dr with 1B shares. I feel like a little guy with only 2.268M. Go SVFC for all of us! Go SVFC >>> $$$
Cazual - I've already stated my appreciation for all your DD, but, I'm not sure why you still have faith in what SVFC says (Anna or Chris). I have a 1 year old Granddaughter who just started walking who could have left Park Ave and walked to South Jersey by now with the letter in her diaper bag. I think "the letter" is just a carrot and indicative of the SVFC management style. With or without "the letter", GO SVFC >>> $$$
Have to laugh a little...usually my attempts at humor get canned. One must admire Lee's optimism! Go SVFC >>> $$$
Starting to be concerned that the "be $1 in 6 months" might be accurate. Besides being 2 months old now, so, 6 months is really 4 months, I guess it"s possible our investment might be worth $1....not the PPS. Go SVFC >>> $$$ Could be great news at EOD
Lee - is this the afternoon that SVFC is supposed to go up? Go SVFC >>> $$$
Eman - thanks for the dose of reality. In Business, people tend to be classified as optimists or pessimists, but, I always thought the most important was to be a realist. That allowed one to be either an optimist or pessimist depending on the data at hand. I started my career as a Programmer/Data Systems Analyst and I realized a long time ago, thats "all" that I was...i.e. a data analyst. No matter what decision I had to make on the job or at home, I collected data; analyzed it; & made the best decision I could. I lucked into INO back in the Spring (I think) & bought a bunch (10k) in the $.70s. There was some disbursement (options;warrants; stocks) that dropped it into the $.50s overnight and that's when I bought my first sizeable lot of 50k - to avg down. As we all know it "languished there for a while. I sold the orig 10K at $1.00 to buy something else one day. When it started to take off I bought another 50K at avg $1.52 or approx 3 times what the 1st 50K cost. So, I'm in at 100K at avg $1.02. So, I think investment is safe, but, realize that any profits will depend on the DATA. So, GO INO DATA >>> $$$
Mr Pat. I'd like to think that INO hits $10 next year as long as there is no "bad news". Just keep producing & drawing more investors in. The plan is that's the lowest I'll sell any, but, I will adjust as time goes on. I'd like INO to go it alone for as long as they can - so, INO longs reap the full benefits. If "big Pharma" comes too soon, we'll be sharing the wealth with their current shareholders. Besides, the longer INO waits & the more success they produce, will just drive the ante up. I just don't think Dr Kim will fail...or, sell early! I assume you are MN resident, so, I'm sure you're looking forward to island living. Stay well & Happy Holidays! Go INO >>> $$$
Pistol...no apology needed because I know your intentions were meant in the right way. Your point is right on...don't invest our hard earned $$$ based on the bashers/pumpers posts. There is a lot of good DD on some of these MBs - if you weed out the BS. I was a "numbers guy" for 40 years, so, I tend to do my own version of DD. Been retired for 4 years now. Some people at the old job thought I was really good, some thought I was really lucky. Probably was a little bit of both. INO has a good chance of making several stockholders rich, and, some others, downright wealthy. I guess we'll see. I think we all feel it has far more upside than downside. This day to day crap is just that. GO INO >>> $$$10 or maybe $$$100
Pistol. One last thing. I totally agree with you about your comments about "the other MB". I got in trouble for saying that their comments have the feel of an MLM...where a bunch of business wannabes are trying to sell you the latest millionaire making snake oil. They had problems with my sense of humor. I was having fun with very little $$$ invested there. INO is the real deal! I actually recommended it to my broker at Fidelity at lunch one day. Go INO >>> $$$
Hi Pistol. Like someone once said, everyone has an agenda on these boards. I had a distinct reason for asking the question that I did. Call it fishing... As far as INO goes, I have slightly over 100K shares and look for INO to be a Home Run for my kids & Grandkids. The funny thing is, I bought the first 50K for slightly under $26K. I paid 3 times that much for the next 50K. So, avg PPS is just a bit over $1. I could sell half today and realize a slight profit and still hold 50K "free" shares, but, I won't. Yes, I realize I could make some $$$ "trading" half & holding half, but, don't want to be holding half and wake up some day to an announcement by our beloved Dr Kim. Life is good! Happy Thanksgiving to all! Go INO >>> $$$10 or maybe $$$100
Is it true Mr Bollinger started out selling Amway? Happy Thanksgiving to all. If SVFC goes half as far and half as fast as Lee thinks, we will all have a lot of SVFC $$$ to be thankful for...in addition to the daily commaraderie we share on this board. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Mack's posts are always thoughtful. I'm sure he understands the INO technology far better than I - so, when he speaks...I listen. Thanks Mack Go INO >>> $$$10
Cazual - just noticed you are a mod of INO board. I want to thank you for your continuous thoughtful DD & posts on your most active board. Do you have any thoughts on INO near & long term? I was criticized for following you & your advice by the 3 stooges & when I protested too much they had me banned. Oh well, You have far more patience than me. So, again, where do you see INO for thenrest of 4Q13 & 1Q14. Go INO >>> $$$10 sometime in 2014. Thanks again
The dividend alone is approx 4% and has grown 7% a year for as long as I can remember. I think the purchase of the other 45% of Verizon Wireless will send future profits soaring. Good choice and best of luck to you! Go VZ >>> $$$
ZAZTEK - I enjoyed a 40 year career by working hard and giving VZ a good day's work for a good days pay. I worked for & with some remarkable people and count them as friends in retirement. Yes, there was an occasional boss that didn't follow the Bell/BA/VZ practices for treating people right. I'm sorry if you ran into more than your share of this type of people. My guess is the problem was you. VZ is a great company to work for with great, great people working there and the Stock price has reflected that. I left with a lot of shares that produce some sweet dividends for a nice, active retirement. And, my pension was like hitting the lottery. Most VZ employees will tell you that they learned a lot; worked hard; and, were well compensated. That is what drives a stock price up! GO VZ >>> $$$
Great post & advice as usual..Caz. I just spent a little over a week in Buckeye, AZ in a retirement area. Spent considerable time "at the club". As a newcomer, it felt great being the youngest in the pool & hot tub. As a newcomer, I don't know enough people to chat financials. Although a few asked, and, I responded that I am a retired "Finance person" - which opened the conversation up a little. I didn't get many/much specifics from the "snowbirds", but, one thing seems universal. They are invested and don't worry about it day to day. Most of them, like myself, have most of their retirement account "managed" by one of the big companies - except the ones who own extensive businesses managed by their family. But, a few I spoke with more directly, have $50K to a couple hundred $K that "they play with". The all have at least 1 penny stock....just for the possibility of hitting a Home Run "for their Grandchildren". I tried to remember names & symbols as they rattled them off. When I got back to the house, I checked those I could remember. Most - if not all - were in the same class that we discuss daily. For the money invested, SVFC could prove to be my Home Run. So, far, I have mostly INO profits invested in SVFC and a few others. Meanwhile the monthly check that we live on comes from my prior employers dividends. When I was working, I didn't like that part of my bonus was paid in options, but, I sure like it now. So I think I have plenty of time to wait on SVFC. So GO SVFC >>> $$$
And, thanks again Caz & others for your ongoing help with SVFC. Maybe, someday, I'll tell my grandchildren about a few strangers on the SVFC board who helped buy them their houses & cars.
Lee - I hope you regain good health at some point in the near future! Our first 100k of SVFC was bought by my son during a Summer adventure I started for him. He paid $.05. I thought I was doing him a favor and bought him another 100k at $.035 to bring his avg PPS to $.0425. Without doing any DD or analysis, I thought he would get back to $.05 - $.10 by the time he went back to school and he would put the profits into his account for spending money during the school year. I later bought another 300K at $.02 to bring his account to 500K shares to bring the avg PPS to under $.03 ($.029). I thought that was good....even if he had to sit on it for a while. I have since bought a few million shares at an avg of $.01. At this point, I/we have far more invested than I/we planned. Like so many others on this board.
Here is my dilemma. I believe in the science. It makes sense. I WANT to believe all of the "cures". Heck, if this procedure can help with MS; Diabetes; Bells Paulsey; Gronk; Orthro injuries; etc...it is indeed a wonder drug. SO, why is the PPS still under $.004. Where do we go from here.
You may recall that I discussed my son's sports related injury with Intellicell directly. We didn't use it, because we knew his knee would heal 100% and there was no rush, or, I/we would have.
I think all SVFC needs is some better hands on Senior Management.
GO SVFC >>> $$$
Eman - I did better with AMD (the chip in the console) than SNE, but, also rolled those profits into more INO. It's really hard not to be too heavy in INO. I think several of us are breaking longstanding rules of %s in one position. Dangerous?? Insider buys make us feel better, but, what do you think? Go >>> INO >>> $$$
OK Agreed! Once we sold the Bonds to cover the deficit, it becomes a debt. So, our debt is the accumulation of several deficits. Whatever you call it, it isn't phuckin good. I was a revenue guy and didn't have to worry about expenses; deficits; debts; IOUs; etc.
I don't think so. I never used the word debt....implicitly. We have been in a period of deficit spending for a long time. Literally, spending more than the gov't is bringing in in (tax) revenue. So there are annual deficits that add to an existing & ongoing deficit. One can think of our total ongoing deficit as a debt. Unfortunately, our debt is to countries like CHina who buy up our debt/bonds so that we can balance our budget. I think we are saying the same thing. I am much better with #s than words. Forgive me.
I think Mack meant that the annual amount of deficit that we are adding to our total deficit is declining. i.e. we expect our annual deficit in 2013 to be less than our annual deficit in 2012. Obviously, we still owe $Trillions and growing. It is just not growing as fast as it was a few years back. Correction in the market is inevitable....the hope is "it won't be as bad as the last time". The last one was driven mainly by the housing & credit bubbles. Not sure how our supposed energy independency will play into future world economics
Dr Collins & Everywhereman with huge purchases. IMO next week could be the best week for INO stockholders in a very long time. Or, maybe next month - since we're more than halfway thru Nov. But, it will be soon and most likely well before the end of the year. If you buy now, you know the price. If you wait and buy later, you will chase at a higher price or miss the boat. Do you think we know more than Dr Collins and Eman. I don't think I do. All IMO ...of course.
Next Tuesday would be a great day for a big announcement.
Click5 - if you want to speak with Intellicell, you can reach them on 212.249.3050. If Anna doesn't answer, please ask for Stephanie. I hope this helps.
3 conferences in next month??? Anyone know which conferences. Dr Kim seems to like big announcements at big conferences.
New Alliance/Partnership could be announced before December. Really don't think the "deal" with Roche is what Dr Kim meant by EPIC year.
I thought the comet missed us. Is Mr President lying to us again? Is there a nudder one? geeesh It's always sumpin
Mr Pat. Tomorrow could/should be another nice day in INO's EPIC year. Go INO >>> $$$
Mucho Badwolf Award
Thanks - really good info.
Easy Math. SVFC maximum downside = -$.0048. Significant upside could easily be 100 times that at only $.48 PPS Go SVFC >>> $$$
Other than the flippers, I think a lot of us have shares bought between former highs and recent lows. And, most of us have high volumes of shares because it has just been too easy to buy a lot of shares at sub penny pps. The potential upside for SVFC in the (near ?) future is just too huge to dump all of our shares. So, I am considering 3 options. 1) sell 1/3 at base cost; sell 1/3 at some profit; hold 1/3 for years. 2) sell 1/2 at base cost or some profit; hold 1/2 for years. 3) take all shares & forget about them for years. ALL COMMENTS - on these "scenarios" - ARE WELCOME At this point, it doesn't seem to be worth it to sell any! It seems equally possible that SVFC PPS could be $.0000 or multiple $$$$ in a few years. The main point that I find unacceptable is the possibility that Dr V is moving $$$ between HIS private enterprise & OUR public company. I can't imagine the BOD would sign off on this, but, who knows. Go SVFC >>>> $$$$ Run SVFC Run
I used to enjoy your posts & find them informative. Now...not so much. You have so much to offer.... Go INO >>> $$$ ER should include $10M Roche $$$; we could hear about additional partnership(s) next week; very likely to hear about Flu vaccines & HIV progress soon. What's not to like short or long!
Thanks for all of your posts. I don't have any $.06s, but, do have a lot of $.07s and a lot of $.10s. I also have a bunch of $.12s when I thought we wouldn't see $.11s again. Oh, well, I guess I'll have to be happy with a ton of profit instead of a ton & a quarter. Thanks again, and, I - like most - appreciate all of your efforts. Go ELTP >>>> $$$$$
Lasers - I watched a short video on cnn.com yesterday that showed a "dead" heroin addict be "revived" with multiple injections of Naloxone. Is this drug in the same family as Naltexone? Seems like it was used as a last resort. A quality ART is needed desparately! Let's hope that ELTP is the one to deliver.
Lee - what time is it in whatever part of Europe you're expecting patent info?
ELTP continues to be the bestest MB around with many, many knowledgeable & informative posters. Thanks DL; PM; SD for all that you do for us novice investors. IMO ....of course.
I understand that Revenue is not as important when comes to Biotechs, but, all those years as a Finance Director, we would count the $10M as Revenue. Maybe we didn't have $12B profit a year. Do you count the costs of providing products/services as Expenses? GAAP is GAAP! Go INO!
Anna has replied to my emails & called me 2 times. I am not on the payroll as you would suggest. Our SVFC holdings are negative. I am a very happy retiree with significant money invested & managed by "the pros" after 40 years with a very large company.
