Sackler comes to mind, albeit differently, but for the, apparently the longer it goes, for the same monetary outcome.
I do hope my current gut feeling(festering for a few years) tis proven wrong by the Beverly wizards.
Loaded for Bear, like most in Boston.
“The duty of care requires directors to act on an informed basis and the duty of loyalty requires directors to serve the corporation and its shareholders to the exclusion of all other interests. The duty of good faith is an overarching duty incorporating principles underlying the duties of care and loyalty.”
“Under the "entire fairness" standard, the directors must show both fair dealing and fair price. In that regard, fair dealing involves questions concerning the timing of the transaction, how it was initiated, structured and negotiated and the manner by which director and shareholder approval was obtained. Fair price contemplates the economic and financial issues underlying the transaction.”
There is clearly a reason ipix is a Nevada corp(the above comes not from Nevada law). He may think he has the “edge”, but he doesn’t, in my view.
16 man hours per day divided by 3 people = 5 hours and 20 minutes per person:)
“Coming weeks”, a favorite quote of this company for years. Google either Cellceutix or Ipix and one will see the remnants on the “roadside”.
“The Company has produced large quantities of brilacidin for the phase 3 program and in the coming weeks, we will be completing our laboratory testing on this newly manufactured compound. To date......”
https://www.marketwatch.com/press-release/cellceutix-files-form-10-q-for-quarter-ended-september-30-2015-2015-11-10
“For that to happen it would mean it’s already done and there would likely be huge volume. I think we have a week or two, minimum, and the volume and price reflect that.
IMHO, BWDIK.
Go Leo! Work the weekend and get’r done! “
My first thought after reading your post is this steak is done, it can be flipped and flipped, but no one bites but suckers’.
My second thought, a week or two perhaps is plausible, but doubtable, based upon management’s past performance.
I’ll leave any opinion to actual manageable results vs message board opinions, at this point.
I
HAS THEIR (ipix)PROPOSED B BEEN DETERMINED TO WORK? HAS B BEEN DETERMINED TO WORK BY THE FDA ,TO DATE? IF THE FDA DEEMS IT FUTILE, WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE IPIX INVESTORS?
Cut him a break SS, someone has to keep that grand expanse of office space clean. I can hope he’s no t cross dressing in a French maid outfit as roams the rooms and hall ways with his feather duster:).
I’ve read the term “in coming weeks” in prior company pr’s (going back years(is prior weeks an acceptable way to say years?)).
Let’s hope something moves forward.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but your opening statement is in direct response to your own question, no? There is a well known word for a question of that type. You appear to me to have proven Blues argument, he/she inferred one thing, you told him/her what was meant, incorrectly,(it was pretty clear to the average reader what Blues argument is)in your own, different, steering, words.
Of all my investments, this “outfit” seems to rely the least upon specifics when it pertains to public declarations.
I’m sure I am not the first to advise you, or any one else, to NEVER PUT THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE.
There is a difference between suggestions of caution vs. bashihng.
Good synopsis, I guess.
What goes on in that huge square footage office in Beverly(occupied by less than few)
Are they inquiring about deals, do they employ minions to pump the stock, running a meth lab,
perhaps?. No way LE makes an honest living based upon his salesmanship to date.
LR,
You state “it’s complicated, isn’t it?” in reference to outstanding shares, swap of debt by C O’s, etc..
It’ s murky to me why the information is in question, whether it’s ipix, or any publicly traded company.
I suppose that’s the way the system has been designed?
I have a lot of patience, and expect improvement when my displeasure has been shared directly with the responsible parties, regardless of the task. Back in the 80’s, fresh out of college, and working on a construction site as a field engineer(survey, layout, monitoring that the work was in accordance with owners/state/fed specifications), the owner measured the depth of crushed stone ( at one point within a trench hundreds of feet long, being dug by a large backhoe(koehring 866 backhoe) placed (vs specified) and discovered the crush stone depth was 6 inches more than required.
He, a multi-multi millionaire, then pulled his wallet out of his back pocket and yelled, while throwing his wallet into the trench- “Go ahead, throw away my money!”
Needless to say, he got his point across(and likely a chuckle with his brother back at the office. My boss, and ww2, vet was a good mentor throughout the years). They’ll celebrate 100 years as a none concern(a legitimate business in Boston) in the 2020’s.
Units, whether they be share units (much easier to count and interpret than costs), or cost units, should not be murky, and both are easily measured, as long as one has a knowledgeable, honest accountant, and team.
KFC
Looking at the chart, it’s historical fact that high volume has not bode good fortune for investors of this company for years, nor have some posters proclamations to “load up before the train leaves the station”, and like statements.
Don’t forget the high accolades ipix received from pi’s and patients from the psoriasis study(ipix pr’d, and quoted the statements(no names given with any quote)).
He’s burnt his bridges imo, and would modify that phrase and take it even further by stating it as “he’s burnt his britches(pants)” and exposed himself.
Those considering investing in this company:
1. Look at the stock chart.
2. Read the press releases and compare the timelines given compared to where ipix stands today.
3. Call the company and request to speak with the executives, from the top down, and hope someone answers the phone when you call.
4. Read the sec filings

The “experts” have led the masses to the abyss.
STAY AWAY new comers.
Just follow. They have, and apparently will, sink themselves.
froll,
Sorry, on a tablet.
Thank you for clarifying Leo’ s intentions!
You lost ~49000 dollars today, and your good with that?
Is that what we are to imply?
Have you changed your opinion, or am I mistaken?
I suspect your factorial statement is founded in the ceo’s Statements.
You may be absolutely correct. Though that filing was more than 3 years ago(https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=148748597), ABSSSI has advanced like a lead weight thrown into the ocean. I hope the other open indications do better.
Go Ipix
https://www.vitals.com/doctors/Dr_Arthur_Bertolino.html
This is the only company i’ve ever invested in where only one person accepts calls.
Why is the ceo so controlling? Must be a NY lack of confidence thing.
The flippers(including some boisterous “longs”) I’ll suggest based upon their enthusiasm for the past few days action and performance.
You don’t believe that and neither does anyone else.
Really? Ipix is currently 22cents(39% from 36 cents).
“Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today” Ben Franklin
Franklin did more in hours than this management team has done since inception.
That opinion should be taken with as much merit as any on a message board.
Could be months if it CAN be proven effective. Keep in mind Galera Therapeutics, who started a phase 3 in S-OM in October, 2018, lists their primary completion date as October 2020 and study completion date as October 2024(they also raised 150M last September).
DaubersUP,
Appreciate your response, but I’ve read all that before.
Very simply, I’ve read sec filings, listened in on a cc, visited the office, and none of those endeavors have aligned, neither which I’ve read, heard, or have been told.
Hopefully, things are about to change. Time is money.
I’m a Libra. I like the recent sp uptrend but, will admit, I know not what is driving it.
There are long time longs who lamb baste questioner’s, and remind the questioner’s, that this(ipix) is an otc bio. So, I’ll ask the experts, what is driving this (IYHO(to save one some typing time)).
What compelled you to buy ~310,000 shares in a non-revenue generating bio? I let the ceo know my disappointment (a few times) most recently this past October(last we spoke). Sold more than half in November. Held on to the rest to monitor, and for legal reasons, which I hope never need to fall back upon.
Agree, P failure did not help.
Agree, there is still no date when, or IF, OM trial will start(I believe it will, and soon).
As great the past few days have been, you are accurate by defining the current sp as “poor level” in historical perspective.
Won’t claim to know that they’ve caught a “hot streak”.
Real good news will keep the sp buoyant, bad news can sink it.
Mark Spitz or Rodney Dangerfield I back to school?
Will know by, or on, the 15th of this month.
Hindsight takes no preconceived thought.
Where will it(sp) land next Friday?
Please respond today.
Thx
Amended post(amendments in CAPS-type)
I agree with your post.
What I find curious is why the company feels they need to pay for media coverage(BayStreet.ca, others?). They’ve(Bay Street) HAVE posted a couple ipix articles, most recently on 1/3/19 comparing ipix to Galera. Rather than IPIX notifying some other rinky-dink periodical, like the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Boston Business Journal(they appear to have jumped off the bandwagon), or any other main stream periodical which post good stories w/o charge(it sells).
Just thinking.

Galera Therapeutics OM candidate gc4419 is the closest to b-om. Their phase 2b trials finished around the same time(galera 6/15/17 vs ipix 8/7/17), though galera enrolled 223 pts vs ipix 61. Both companies had results that were statically significant(will have to double check if it was for all or some endpoints).
They completed enrollment of respective 2b trials 54 days apart. Galera announced btd on 2/28/18(~8 months after 2b enrollment completion, they announced 150M in finacing on 9/19/18(~15 months after 2b enrollment completion), and dosing of the first patient in the phase 3 OM study on 10/23/18(~16 months after 2b patient enrollment).
ipix completed 2b patient enrollment 20.75 months ago.
Never heard PHD means”piled higher and deeper” til your quote. I now understand what you mean.
TY for the education, doc.
What approved product(s) do they make which I don’t understand? Please advise, and leave “visionaries” out of any response.
