Correct me if I’m wrong, but your opening statement is in direct response to your own question, no? There is a well known word for a question of that type. You appear to me to have proven Blues argument, he/she inferred one thing, you told him/her what was meant, incorrectly,(it was pretty clear to the average reader what Blues argument is)in your own, different, steering, words.
