Thanks for your honesty. I'll miss the positive vibe you brought to the board.
This part is no individual's fault.....but perhaps the "group dynamic" as I call it created too much buildup for this 10-K. It confirmed everything in the 8-K (especially the share structure) and that alone I took to be great news. Many of those risk statements are boilerplate text.
Trust me, I am not particularly wealthy. It was not easy to sit and watch about $40,000 of unrealized gain disintegrate today. Maybe it would have been better not to watch every tick. The part that is frustrating to me is most penny players are just not able to valuate companies -- especially when it comes to accounting for future sales and growth. All I can do is trust my read that IFXY will be found by more investors like me. IMO the stock will recover and reward those ready for a longer haul.
Best Wishes,
DrZ
Since TFL left, I guess the only way we can conclude a member of the old crew is gone is from them not posting anymore :(
I'd like to think Wooly and some others are still holding but who knows?
My sorta related thought is about the so-called FLD. In the last 10 days or so, we had many new posters showing up asking and commenting about the float lock. None of them seemed to care anything about the company itself. All they wanted was "in" on this magical phenomenon.
I wrote posts explaining very aptly why our float lock was a myth. Doesn't even look like anyone read them....or if they did, it did nothing to break the mindset that a float lock means guaranteed gains - at least among the newbies. Many of them were washed away with the tidal wave today.
So if I call and say "This is Dr. Zhivago -- you know, the guy with 12% of your float..", they won't even need to know my real identity?
I'm impressed at your skill in calling the intra-day price action.
YDM!
Good time for the smart money to come in!
And, not long ago we were happily cheering the first upward touch of .01! Getting scared today is certainly understandable for people that bought more recently.
Yep, today's nonsense is why I will never post short-term price predictions.
I see those as independent events. em
IMO there was some panic selling this morning, accentuated by MMs trying to bring the price down (presumably to cover shorts)
For that to work we need several members with deep enough pockets and the desire to pick up the slack that falls. No offense to anyone, but having a bunch of people starting a FLD "all-in" will create the same issues as before.
If there is sell reporting, where is the lock-down aspect? Once we achieve a real FLD, we could determine the sell prices in advance as a group.
BC, maybe this can become an opportunity to TRULY lock a float. I know you were starting a group for the next one, but how many companies have this nice of a share structure in place?
I would be interested if 1) we take it off-line , and 2) we limit membership to only larger and more committed holders. I for one would be willing verify my holdings if necessary assuming it was kept off the boards. At this price, it doesn't take a fortune to buy a decent percentage of the float.
Good to hear, TBSH. I've always believed the "right" people will inevitably find IFXY because they understand the longer-term value here.
Others can chime in if they want, but I don't think it is healthy to make these kinds of specific price predictions. IMO, it just creates unnecessary psychological barriers -- can we just let the stock run like it wants to?
And they are establishing a great track record of delivering on everything they say.....so refreshing we don't have to rely on fluff.
Hey you're right! Now I see the announcement on Google Finance and other sources. Also shows up in the iHub fav boards list to bring even more eyes here today.
Still like 'em both as long as PRs come soon.
Just re-affirming my stake here.... - I have no foreseeable plans of selling!
That jibes with my earlier assertion that the primary objective of top brass is to get that PPS up high! Are you seeing anything that contradicts that thought? I don't.
None of your "points" make any sense PP. em
Well he wouldn't catch so much grief if he didn't make such strong and baseless assertions. Someone should know a little about what intellectual property is before spouting off about it.
Okay, now I need a beer. Over and out til tomorrow.
What do you want me say kid? Everyone has to determine their own entry and exit prices based on their time frame and tolerance for risk. Nothing good would come from me predicting specific prices. If I turn out to be right, so what - I was supposed to be right. More likely I will be wrong because no one knows exactly how a stock will move on any given day or week.
'PUSH and HOLD' has been our war chant for the past several weeks. I just added the 'baby' for a little Hollywood flair.
PUSH and HOLD baby!
I love this sentence in the 10-K:,
Correct me if I am wrong BC, but everyone should remember...
The 8-K didn't come with any PR's. This will get new eyes on IFXY, and many of the great things that made the 8-K jump are being re-affirmed here (assets, etc).
They have just acquired a new company, so overall operating costs are going to be higher than last year. 10-K's are a snapshot of the 'now'....Trimax is a profitable company, and they will bring IXFY income going forward. Remember, this a company in growth stage.
If true, that would mean most of the sell volume came from just one disgruntled person....one that doesn't understand anything about the current company. Good, I must have taken some of his shares today!
Do you really want to use year-old financial data to make your investment decisions? Do your DD....this is very different company since then.
Nice! Honestly, I don't want to sell ANY shares right after the 10-K. That is why I have such mixed feelings about the 'FLD'. One one hand, I doubt its effectiveness (how is this a 'lock down' if anyone can sell at any time?). Yet, what if it spurs a huge unnatural spike right after the 10-K? It is almost my duty as a smart trader to take a little profit on that spike. After all, why would I post my holdings publicly and become a large, stable, confidence-instilling member of the FLD only to let everyone else reap the rewards from it?
But I don't want to lose those shares! Look at how this company treats their loyal SORs with that great stock dividend. Unlike so many microcaps treating their shareholders with contempt, IXFY has a vested interest in getting this PPS up -- they have big board aspirations. I feel like I am betting 'with the house' for a change.
This is going to sound crazy, but I hope the FLD action doesn't raise the price temporarily out of control. I for one would be happier to let this play out more naturally. Then I don't have to sell ANY shares for a long time. BTW, I added more on the dips today!
Thanks ospreyeye. I'm trying to do my part by only buying at the ask, getting in good position, then holding and being relatively patient. I come from the large cap world, so 'patient' compared to the vast majority of penny players!
Sure thing...filling 8's now to take my total to ~ 1m
That would be nice
Someone else got offended at my suggestion there can be collusion between MMs. Instead, I'll simply say "it's a good thing to have healthy competition between MMs." :o)
Like to see that! Different MMs jumping in there will help break the collusion between NITE and ETMM.
This is similar to what the MMs are currently doing on 2 of my other holdings. They sneakily exploit use these lower-volume 'calms before the storm' to walk the price down....sometimes selling each other tiny lots at the bid!
As for timing of the release, usually I wouldn't have a strong preference ('it comes when it comes'). But in this case, I think it would be awesome for the 10-K to come during the business day today or tomorrow. We could sit back and enjoy watching the price and volume action as everyone else scrambles to assess the financial in real-time! The investors (still sitting on the sidelines) that know how to interpret fundamentals quickly will be the first wave, followed by the chasers. It would be fun to watch it play out and might avoid a big pre-market price gap.
