One of the more volatile penny stocks to watch this month has been Discovery Gold (DCGD). Though the stock is not mining, it is participating in another industry that has seen its own “rush:” cannabis. For the better part of the last quarter, shares of Discovery Gold have climbed from $0.01 to as high as $2.22. Over the last few days, however, the marijuana stock took an aggressive tumble to lows of $0.43.
The company had previously announced that it would be pursuing a name change to GRN Holdings Corporation. Over the past few months, GRN has been adding new management and advisory members. Most of them have some background in the cannabis industry.
On Monday, DCGD shares saw a dramatic trend reversal compared to its previous two trading sessions. Shares opened the week at $0.64 and have seen highs of $0.93 heading into the lunch hour on Monday. The company hosted web conferences on the 13th, throughout the afternoon.
The way they are "nibbling" away at the ask!!!! me too, and not very long,, perhaps today, but definitely tomorrow
UNRG $$ LOOKS [/b]LIKE IT WILL CONTINUE ON ITS MASSIVE RUN TOMORROW...CANT KEEP THIS BEAST DOWN, IF .30+ IS BROKEN ON FRIDAY, THIS MIGHT GO PARABOLIC HEADING INTO NEXT WEEK, IT COULD BE GETTING READY TO PASS DCGD, INFACT UNRG HAS A SMALLER SS, AND MIGHT BE MUCH BIGGER IN VALUATION OVER DCGD REAL SOON.

Thank you Janice---
Seems very few understand what is occurring
JMHO--but it seemed to me that there is/was a very upset shareholder---perhaps upset with JC---and this shareholder (not concerned over price) dumped in order to punish----
Been in this business over 55 yrs and have seen this happen before from an angry share holder---
Congrats on the CALL
Actually, I have not traded a single share of that position---and am a buyer here--
An old saying ---sell your losers and keep your winners----as the reverse leads towards owning all losers---
WOW
Almost 300,000 shares on the ask at .32
Why not copy and paste that part of the 10K for him to read---hell, I;ld like to see that also---

Who is Tim Sykes
AL THESE QUESTIONS ???????????
AND, YET YOU WON'T CONFRONT THE CEO----JUSTIN COSTELLO???
WHY??? HE DOES NOT BITE--
the questions you ask are:::
1--an answer as to why he would give away 44% of whatever he puts in the DCGD shell.
2--And why he hired lightweights for officers,
didn't file an 8k about it,
3--why he let them talk about the growth and success the empty DCGD shell is having.
4--Why there's nothing in the GRN Funds portfolio but his own companies,
5--why the DCGD shell isn't listed in the portfolio.
6--Why Washington state DFI, after examining the GRN Funds website, says he isn't licensed but should be,
7--why Washington state DFI has no record of GRN Funds.
8--Why there are multiple bios online. Linkedin, zoominfo, angel list, microcap advisors all have different versions.
9--Why he moved his "principle executive office" to Cultiva Law.
10--Why, with 11,200 articles that mention "marijuana" are in the Seattle Times, neither he nor GRN Funds is mentioned in any of them.
11--Why he founded GRN Funds in 2014 but didn't incorporate it anywhere until 2016.
All very good questions,, but why ask a message board for the answers?????
CALL THE "MAN" or his ATTORNEYS--- or hire your own---but asking a message board?????????? come-on-man!!!!
cheers
He;s flipping 1000 shares--
Years of experience
A recently entry into the MJ banking industry Discovery Gold Corp. (DCGD) made progress into its transition to a MJ banking entity. It has been documented that a reverse merger into this clean shell purchased by GRN Funds LLC) with an announced ticker symbol change via GRN Holding Corp. change of registration has been initiated. Reports are suggesting a number of registered brokers have informed investors that the process to change the ticker from DCGD to GRN has been initiated, although no time frame has been set as to when this process will be complete. We have not independently verified the CUSIP/Ticker change process as per reports. The first step includes major brokerages to confirm the underlying CUSIP/Ticker has begun a “change of identification” process, which will require confirmation. Lastly, ticker changes must be confirmed by FINRA, as they have the last word, and no broker can initiated any cross sectional changes until FINRA approval has been given.
Justin Costello (CEO- GRN Holding Corp) brokered the largest cannabis deal ever in 2017, GRN Funds LLC (WA-Oregon) which is an investment firm with $1.15 Billion Dollars under management and $600 Million under deposit established in 2014 by Justin Costello. GRN Funds LLC provides secure banking resources for small to medium businesses and ancillaries and enables businesses to reach larger markets and engage an ecosystem of providers to develop and increase profitability. Serving over 400 businesses across the USA with $500 million in PMS banking in the West.

Chartered Banks and Online Banks
Certain online banks may contain overseas charters; these do not conform to either state or federal regulations. In these cases, the consumer must determine if the online bank might offer Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) protection. The FDIC, created in 1933 to maintain public confidence and mitigate bank failure in the United States, insures deposits of up to $250,000 per member institution (as of 2016).
Examples of online banks include Axos Bank, Ally Bank, EverBank, Discover Bank, and Charles Schwab Bank. As online banks can cut costs via a largely digital footprint, many can offer above-average deposit rates and high-quality digital offerings to customers.
Chartered banks provide core financial intermediary services necessary in today's economy; individuals can easily deposit their funds into various types of accounts within a chartered bank, earning interest on their temporary savings. Chartered banks maintain a float of currency so they can process customers' daily transactions, but they lend out the majority of their deposits to individuals and commercial borrowers to stimulate economic growth.
A bank’s actual charter lays out operational guidelines for the bank, along with how it will comply with relevant regulations. This might include how the bank will maintain a certain minimum capital requirement. In the United States, a charter can be either state or federally issued and conform to either state agencies or federal-oversight regulations, respectively.
Supervising entities, which oversee U.S. chartered banks, with physical locations, including the jurisdiction of a deputy comptroller, based in Washington, D.C.; along with another, large bank supervision department, also based out of Washington, D.C. These are some advantages to obtaining a state charter; for example, obtaining this charter could be less expensive than a federal charter. At the same time, state-chartered institutions often have the same rights as federally-chartered banks with less federal oversight.
Chartered banks originated in 1863, signed into law by President Abraham Lincoln and Treasury Secretary Salmon P. Chase.
federally chartered banks
Financial institutions authorized and regulated by the federal government rather than the state government. They have the word “national”in their name, or the initials “N.A.” at the end. Supervision is by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) at www.occ.treas.gov.
I don't believe that a Federally Chartered Bank is FDIC insured---???????
Thanks---what does this mean--the highlighted part

If you have any more---i'ld be happy to have one---
Are you familiar with Whitestone???
art
If what ""they"" say is true , you can always ask for their verification,, as in proof that what ""they"" are saying is true--
Private entities do not publicize their holdings or their assets or their liabilities---
I thought most of the investment public realized the difference----if and when GRN goes public we will then be given their holdings--all of them--
So why do you keep asking for something you know is not available???
Nice post
One of the more realistic views==
agree---no law suits forthcoming

$DCGD So, let me get this straight. Does ANYONE in their right mind really believe that the four highly-respected businessmen who have been named to the Advisory Board would have accepted those positions if the company were not legit?
Of course not.
And yes. We had PR's on each.

$DCGD Remember Adam Gayfvert stated that the marketcap wouldn’t exceed 150m and encouraged Shorts to take a position. We are currently at that market cap! Big covering will commence tomorrow

Noticed several "monikers" "handles" and names from over the years that I have conversed with-----had some severe medical issues and heart attacks recently---turning 85 shortly and wanted give -""A hello to all""
I wonder if Justin does any business with Signal Bay or the company that they RM's into---we made a lot of bank with that one!!!!!! perhaps this one will triple it ,,or better..
Where the big banks say no, Justin Costello is saying ‘yes.’
Foreseeing “a multi-billion-dollar industry here,” the head of Seattle-based GRN Funds says his firm has come to Florida to offer banking services to the state’s medical marijuana providers.
It already handles about $500 million in deposits for clients in the cannabis industry on the West Coast.
Costello, its chairman and CEO, was in Tallahassee last week to meet with state financial regulators “strictly as a courtesy.” (As a bank, his firm is federally chartered and not regulated by the state, he says.)
Accompanying him on that visit was Jeff Sharkey and Taylor Biehl of the Medical Marijuana Business Association of Florida, “facilitating an introduction to state policymakers,” as Sharkey put it.
“We just wanted to let them know what’s happening,” said Sharkey, who also operates the Capitol Alliance Group. “We thought it important that they understand the right way to do this … There are millions of dollars in cash going around out there.”
Costello says he already has nine marijuana banking clients signed up in Florida, whom he couldn’t name because of confidentiality regulations.
Medical marijuana providers around the country have been vexed by how to handle their money.
The big banks won’t do business with them; as The New York Times explained earlier this year, “selling marijuana violates federal law; handling the proceeds of any marijuana transaction is considered to be money laundering.”
That’s led marijuana vendors keeping thousands, even millions, of dollars in cash in self-storage warehouses. Costello would like to take marijuana out of the cash-in-a-duffel-bag business model.
What is your take on the Donald Ross shares????
Do they still exist??
if so, are they in Cert form??
No,, your statement here is wrong--
The worse that will happen is the ticker becomes delinquent until the 10k is submitted and a stop sign is put on the OTC market.
There are plenty of companies that this happens to and they trade with no problem---wrong
Not with firms like Fidelity----You can not buy when a STOP has been put on the company by the OTC/FINRA etc
You need an acct with E-Turd to circumvent the STOP
I have seen similar penny --sub penny stocks do that---news on the third after 2 days of running causing a monster 3rd day in volume and pps range,, only to close lower than its opening-----bah humbug---then after a few trading days much lower when no more news--but, when there are follow up PRs , then much higher on lesser daily volume--
So, what happens tomorrow---the third day selloff??? Or do you think there is some real substance and a RS in their future??
