Tend to agree with your assessment - still waiting for more upbeat news.
This up jerk will surely provoke a sell off but GOIG is turning it around. Too many encouragements; 50 keywords, the China deal, the lift-up thing and the weekly update to shareholders. All very positive. Look for a good summer.
Why is the ticker service update garbled? It's like slow motion speech, if I can get on at all. Lately it rings and rings, then I get an "all operators are busy" message - that's can be good or bad.
What are qr codes and what are msft and goog doing with them?

If a "green, energy saving product" cannot be marketed in this environmentally correct culture, it's because the product is not what you were told it is or because the marketeers aren't up to it. This one is over - has been for some time. Take the write off and move on.
I disaagree - at this level of "investing" you are indeed gambling.
I listened to the text recording yesterday and was impressed, today however it's slow and garbled. Very unimpressive. If you can't operate your own service properly with the simmple installation of a recording, what else can't you do? If Sutton and cohorts can't do better management and PR than what we've seen for the last two months, then I'm out. I'm tiring of the excuses, as I think many others are. New management, new ideas (and implementation of ideas) or I'll be writing this off. Good car, bad driver.
What?? No opinions allowed?? DD does not result in drop down- solid-for sure conclusions, DD allows one to make an educated guess, aka an opinion. Here's an opinion, like it or not: GO800 is a good idea, it's not being properly managed of marketed, there's plenty of reason to hold, we're just over a month into revenue collection, exposure of GO800 is seeping out, the industry shows are an excellent venue to move the idea to significant players and there are more lined up following Chicago (which seems a bust). Wait for the financial reports. Also, I believe Ike is shopping the package to a more esablished and able company. It's clear he's got his hands full, has no assistance (ambassadors?) and, I believe, will unload this at the first opportunity. Don't pay too much attention to the price, MMs are part of the territory here. Need I say, IMO.
At .099 - now it will move up.
Good job.
If GOIG has any value the Chicago conference will bring it out. Many industry bigs are attendees and if this sparks a eye-brow raise in any of them, look out. Also, consider the possibility of the concept being for sale - what better venue to market it as a package.
Touche, Rustler, great post. Ike seems a hustler, a bungler but a hustler. Anybody who can talk himself into 240K/year has some savvy. Let's hope he can recognize he's got a potential tiger and hands off to, or at least enlists the aid of, a more astute business mind. This Chicago conference should be revealing in terms of marketing and management. Somebody said: "Good car, bad driver".
That "we don't know" so much is the reason for the frustration.
Thank you, Rustler!! Geez, why is that so hard to understand!
One need not be able to do better than Ike to opine that Ike is not doing a great job. You can be a true believer and unquestionably accept everyone at their word, I won't.
What the hey? "If you don't like it here, what are you doing here?" To ask questions, to get other investors' take on this, to gather other opinions and thoughts on GOIG - that's what I, and I had thought all of us, are doing here. I'm not here to be battered and criticized for commenting or inquiring in a manner that doesn't suit your vision of sugar plums. Reread your post.
Oh! So the board is only for positive comments, nobody can question anything?
I don't know why, I'm asking.
It is absolutely amazing the excuses people can come up with on this board - "the MMs want to freak out the peeps" ?????? The Chicago trade show opens, the expansion to Canada is announced and this drops like a rock. Why is it with each PR there is a quick uptick followed by a drop? "Live" Ambassadors? Cheerleaders? Anybody??? Is the reason we're not getting info because there is no positive info?
No, this board does not affect the PPS. This board has a very %%% of the shares of this company. The board, I thought, was for the free flow of opinion, as in questions, thoughts, ideas and such, not a forum for sugarcoating missteps by management. I own a lot of this, I want badly for it to succeed, if I have a comment to make, good or bad, concerning this company, I will post it. I really don't care what anybody thinks about it.
To begin with this is not a major company, it's a start-up using shareholders as "ambassadors" and advertising on E-bay for freelance contractors. As for virtual office time, you are correct, I know of many concerns much larger than this that run the businness out of the front seat of a car with a blackberry. My concern is not that it's low budget but that it's non-communicative - show some numbers. How many? How much? When? You, an ambassador, come on this board and tell us about your successes but no details. We are shareholders, we own the company - inform us about what we paid for. If it doesn't start up after this Chicago event - the meeting of the electronic connectors industry, which is what GOIG is all about - you have work to do. Also, your childish and snide comments in response to a civil post reveal plenty. Got to go to work, I have a day job. Get well.
It's own sales force?? I've been to 381 Park, Suite 1201 - it's a small office with a receptionist that takes phone calls for about 14 similar small start up companies. Not that that's a problem, everything has a beginning. I don't know who is selling the keywords but I'm sure there is not "sales force".
Uplisting is too lengthy a process - however I totally agree on the other two, revenue announcement and/or national exposure. Everything else is just B---S---.
I don't think news of the patent would generate any more activity than the news of the video release or newspaper ads did, the patent is pending, exclusive rights to the technology or whatever is being patented, are secure. Volume would not necessarily move the price a lot one way or the other, that's been shown here.
I will not be looking for any movement in the price of this except slightly up or down, until news of money coming in or GO800 exposure in ads. The Chicago conf. this week and/or the NYC advertising gathering later this month may provide such news, if not wait for the end of qtr.
A month or six weeks ago what you posted wasn't available, how much more exposure will be out by end of July. I'm guessing this will be much more known by then.
I'm familiar with the letter to shareholders but the answer is not in Ike's letter, Ike's projections are in the letter. If his forecast is correct, and its reasonable to believe it is which is why we are all here, then there will be positive cash flow for some time to come (20% increase per month!!), however I will feel much better when I see it on the books. Such doubt could be eliminated with a release of numbers detailing paying clients, no need to mention who, just how many. Somebody mentioned earlier that he may be playing it close and looking for a slow rise in sustained value, holding cash flow and client numbers may be part of that strategy. Whatever, I think it's worth holding.
Is GOIG cash flow positive? Now?
You may well be on to something. A start up lacks the resources to really build and grow this concept properly, an established tech company - a number of such come to mind - would be able to spend to get this into the mainstream. Not saying that Sutton couldn't do that but it would be easier for a deep pockets company. Also, investors such as on this board hold a very small percentage of the shares, what we want is not given heavy consideration overall. Sell the idea however, we'll make money.
MM's exactly. A 5000 sell drops it and an 800,000 buy does nothing - MM's playing. Ignore the price, wait and hang on.
Smittygoodcall by default! It's enough to point out, as someone did here, that a zillion more people are texting than phoning.
That alone makes this a good thing - don't care how many have blackberries or I-pods or crank phones - those five characters, G-O-8-0-0 need exposure either thru marketing by GOIG or thru a signed up, paid up client, put them on TV, in print, whatever. Until then ignore the price of this stock, right now it's like a game board for MM's.
Oh goody, Smittygoodcall's quarreling again!! Hope it stays relevant.
With the conferences and subsequent networking within the industry and the video release, I'd say in a week, 10 days - once it's all absorbed by investors it will head north in leaps. No excuses now, it's in the public eye, throw a bright light on it. Sit back and wait, this is real.
More exposure means greater volume means higher prices. The NY Times article should be squeezed for all it's worth, shame if it isn't.
It is funny. Reports of two words being locked up, TSGP and CORD, both pinks in the NYC metro area - is it back scratching by pink pals to create an illusion of business being done, success around the corner? Maybe. The only thing that is going to move this stock is the visual display of GO800 keywords next to the 1-800's and the dot.com's in the bottom corner of the print or TV ads. The greatest sales feature of this service is business owners, big and small, seeing it in actual use - that alone will provoke interest and sales. Everything else is just pissing in to the wind.
Yes, it is still amazing to me. I agree, GOIG came through this June 1 well, given the closing yesterday price today and absence of a huge sell-off. I also believe that they are too much into this to let it fall and will pick themselves up and press on with their agenda and plans to get this to the public. However, that said, they have repeatedly made what seeems like the same miscalls over and over again - don't make promises, don't set deadlines if there is any doubt at all that they can't be met. Nothing sours investor relations like broken promises - read this board over the last few days. It's a good service that could well secceed, hunker down and get it done.
Amazing!! After failing to be in compliance with it's own dates and deadlines time after time people are still making excuses.
Good call, Smitty
