Of course there will be a R/S.
Is that a trick question???
Not arguing re your evaluation methods. But, obviously the market is not anticipating your numbers. So far, especially after the q & a audio, the market is reflecting the exact opposite.
p.s. (I hope your numbers prove true!)
A dagger for sure!
Of course!
That is why every grad finance class includes a deep dive into contrarian economics! ... Whenever words like "rocket", "moon", etc. you know to sell. Ditto all the "rah-rah" comments here immediately following Massey's glowing comments. Selling against the lemmings who echo Massey's words is easy money! Buy back when low and sell as the cheer leading volume is turned up again! Rinse and repeat.
And of course, a contrarian trader can be left at the station, (holding a basket of money making contrarian trades!), but ONLY if the trader has decided on a sale time to divest... (exactly the same as everyone else.)
The difference is a contrarian knows what do do with useless "noise".
Steady ... you asked me if the market anticipated the two spikes that occurred a few months ago to counter my comments on the current market downtrend smack in the face of production and sales, now only months away. So yes, those spikes did anticipate positives ... BUT ... when there was no "there" "there", and both spikes fizzled, it was revealed there were no legs at all. So with the current share price again fizzling, not anticipating ALL the positives that would surely come with production and sales FINALLY! so near ... again, how do you explain a downward price trend with all your positive comments now so imminent?
Clearly, the production and sales coming so soon are simply not convincing the market that it will be proven successful. What you need so badly right now, is a MAJOR announcement from the company ... like a licensing agreement showing that others believe in shmp technology, AND, will pay for it!
I think in the coming days the company will show some aces and face cards in their hand. If not, I fear the company rolls into production and sales in Q4 sputtering and fizzling.
Pray for big news soon!!!
1/2 million shares per day during the week, (and out of the blue), is a far cry from the daily average volume.
Same Vegas odds will change dramatically if shmp lands a licensing agreement before Sept. 15.
stay tuned ... Tick Tock
No wonder Vegas odds have tilted favorably of late towards the Taeger Window. Sept. 15 share price looms! Six weeks nearly does it!
Tick Tock.
Not talking about the huge volume and spike days re the you tuber announcements, (that is a different animal altogether), but last weeks consistently higher than normal volume, at least to me, is a strong sign that people in the know are accumulating shares. Now that volume and price have cooled off again, I don't see it as any big deal. I'm betting reasons for the increased volume will be known soon enough. It doesn't happen in a vacuum.
I agree as to the selling strategy. Just have not been happy with the company / shareholder dynamics. Also, I feel they are somewhat adrift as to any solid marketing plan going forward. Seems rudderless to me.
btw, if you are going to quote Livermore, you might want to avoid his end game!!!
good luck to you, as well.
what is your definition of "eventually"?
Another you tuber pick up can help that cause substantially.
btw, people skills are super important, and especially so when a company is this small.
ADM has gone through not one, but two marketing firms in the last six weeks, and again is operating without investor assistance. Is this how a good CEO operates?
Steady ... with production and sales now just months away, I'm guessing your excitement is building for sure. With that in mind, please do not look at the past three month share price graph. The market is not agreeing with you and it ain't pretty!!!
classworx interview, (watched by about 10 people!), was a contest between the humorless interviewer and the humorless CEO as to who could be the flattest and most boring. I give it a tie!
Sorry, I can't control what Vegas does or how they do it. Suggest you contact Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce as to any questions or comments relating to odds calculations, etc.
Vegas odds are tilting towards Mr. Taeger. We may know more by the end of the week as to share price direction.
2035? ... 2050?
Or trade!
Unfortunately, at least at the close of the week, the market seems to be agreeing with Josh, as evident by the weak and low share price.
uber ... since you know more about the extraction process than the folks at N/S, (not withstanding sarcasm), why not charge for your knowledge?
You could make money from home via Zoom, and be helping to company too.
seems like a win win?
Some serious shareholder haircuts after the much anticipated and applauded Massey audio. Rumors of him opening two barber shops, (hair salons?), are surely untrue ... right?
oh, thank you. And your take on selling shareholders and the dismal chart of late?
unfortunately, shmp shareholders are unloading all they can.
Before they "choose" anything, they will have to show they have the know how, money, production, and most of all, the skills, to navigate any and all pitfalls that will surely lie ahead. You do not know, I do not know, and only time will tell if N/S will have the luxury to choose their destiny. All this is unfolding right now and, in my opinion, will be self-evident by years end.
Tick tock ........
Plus with the huge umbrella that covers the upward trend to more healthy eating, and more organic, natural foods, it will be up to N/S to capitalize on their "natural" marketing theme. A ton of business start up pitfalls for N/S have been ongoing and continue, so all the rah-rah noise here means absolutely nothing. From here it is all about execution and does N/S have the means to do just that? We'll see soon enough and should know a ton more by the end of 2021.
Tick tock .............
No ... batting cages, mini-golf, go-karts, battle-boats, driving range, game room, etc. but mini railroad would have been the creme de la creme! C.P. Huntington would have been a huge success no doubt, but topography was too hilly. (worked great for the mini-golf though.)
So, as to your critique ... if true, is your conclusion that this is a smoke and mirror scam, and that there will be no production at all? Everything just fades slowly into 2022 without selling shrimp and doors closed and locked?
You would have to admit, if this IS a scam, it is one that Ponzi himself would be super jealous of!
Why my quote? (zero to do with your question, plus I answered "not me").
My two businesses were owning a running store and later, building, owning, and running an amusement park for 18 years. ???
Not me!
Twisting again ... I never said sell to one store or one outlet ... just shining a bright light on you trying to make N/S look bad by comparing a large outlet company to a smaller one.
VERY disappointed in you Josh!
I don't know if N/S has a chance to make it or not. Many of your criticisms are valid Josh, and are huge hurdles for N/S to even get off the ground at all.
SHMP is on the right track not trying to land the big one at the start. Very surprised you are on the opposite side of this debate.
Something I know a LOT about is the running shoe business. Nike started in the small running stores, branched into sporting goods stores, then dept. stores, then large chains. It did not happen over night, it took years! Even with that strategy, they almost folded twice due to start up production problems. (obviously you have never started a business from scratch. I have ... twice, very successful and sold both, and both still in business. (the first one now going on 22 years.)
N/S would go under with immediate production issues, (ANY company has problems initially!), if they took on too many sales initially.
Your posts 96602 and especially 96603 saying "the beat goes on" is actually a compliment to N/S, but your blind negative narrative does not allow you to see it. That's ok, but it's wrong.
Ya gotta play fair here Josh.
If you are going to twist things you may not get HERO status even with a low share price on Sept. 15.
HERO's play fair. You know you were belittling the much lower Whole Foods outlets vs the many HEB's, and I simply reminded you that your post works in N/S's favor, as it is never wise for start up production to seek more production or more outlets than it can handle.
But you know that, so at least own up that your posts, (perhaps inadvertently), were focusing on pointing out a company with many more outlets, (that N/S with brand new production could not handle), vs a company with fewer outlets, (that N/S with brand new production could handle), were trying to make N/S look bad, when, in fact, your post actually made the company reasonable, conservative, and smart.
It is imperative you own up to this Josh ... no twisting to fit a different narrative allowed ... your possible, (probable?), HERO status come Sept. 15 hangs in the balance!
and maybe a "moot" point too? (unless it gets muted of course.)
C'mon Josh,
You seem smart enough to know that N/S, (or ANY company just starting production), would not even want to begin with large multiple outlets. Any company knows not to take on too many outlets at first. This time your argument has worked 100% in favor of N/S!!!
Common sense trumps, (sorry!), a biased narrative every time.
Sept. 15 now just weeks away ... tick tock!
Shareholder letter today tells of ARISE-3 rising from the ashes!!!
Plus this doesn't look "dark" to me at all. The upside is fantastic, and, thanks to Dan and Keith, the puzzle pieces are coming together nicely. Springpole is still some time away, so feasibility, permitting, under water construction issues, etc. are still in the offing, but you can bet they are working behind the scenes to facilitate it all, plus other acquisitions, sales, mergers, or joint ventures?
This jr. mining company is a breed apart from most, and I sleep well knowing I have a large core position in a company run by the best!
Nothing is for sure, 2008 shined a bright light on that, and precious metals can always trend lower and even nose dive, but with world debt SO high, (and climbing!), I'm betting on gold to the upside for the next decade. I have funds in SSRM, and First Mining Gold. They are going to stay there for awhile!
Damn ... I'm no better than you!!!
YOU'RE beats YOUR'RE every time!
We BOTH need to put a hold on selling advice to each other
And we BOTH need to spell better!
No pause for him ... again, why???
That is an odd post to me as I have held a large core position for now over 3 1/2 years.
I have not sold one share in that account, although I add from time to time. The same "lecture" you say I have given would apply to myself as a long time shareholder with considerable shares. That is a LOT of money tied up with zero return. The difference between myself and "most people on this board who regularly post are long-term shareholders", is that I "blame" no one. For me, I am super glad we have Dan at the helm, for if I was not, (like you, implanting, etc.) I would sell it all in a New York minute, even if I was under water, as I am now.
I was a silent observer to this board for my first two years as I accumulated shares for, now, a large core position. I only started trading, (in a totally separate trading account!), when I felt the emotions of this board turn against Dan and constantly whine, complain, and "blame" him for what I consider to him doing a great job! Made damn good money! I have done this again and have been accumulating a ton of FFMFG under .30, thanks to all the whining and blaming of this board. I went round and round with implanting some time ago about him not being able to discuss First Mining without referring to the share price, (challenged him to do so), and of course he refused the challenge.
As far as "missing the forest through the trees" I see it EXACTLY the opposite as you. 100% opposite! I see the forest as virtually ALL the things Dan has been doing behind the scenes which I believe will pay off in spades, and I am holding you and others as seeing only trees in the form of a low share price! ... for the record, like you, I thought we would be higher right now, (I was predicting upper 40's at least, so of course I am disappointed, but being disappointed is a far cry from blaming, and especially second guessing.) I'm not selling one share of my core position until well after Springpole is recognized by the institutional community as the world class asset that it is.
"disabuse" ... great word Josh! ... (had to look it up.)
Yes I was. I have bought when the complaining on this board was amped up, and sold when the board seemed "happy", which is rarely. And yes, with the recent complaining, I have been buying again, and more aggressively, so my "bragging" this time around will need a spike in price.
So yes, your [advice to me] to get out of my core position and just trade is a sound one. Certainly it would give me a LOT more money to trade with.
And yes, in the same vein, [my advice to you] to divest shares in a company whereby you have lost faith in the CEO and post that "his talk is cheap" is also a sound one. (who holds under those conditions!)
With our "buy and hold strategy not working" ... it seems like both of us are recommending to the other, to sell and move on. So far, I have not been able to take your advice to pull the trigger and sell my core position, and so far it seems like you have been unable to take my advice to pull the trigger and sell your core position.
Seems like both of us should take the other's sound advice!
A basketball playing biologist? ...
(seems like shmp hit the jackpot to me!!!)
Do you not think Marco Van Den Berg "has a basic understanding of the market"??? ... the market is his wheelhouse, so again Josh, explain why, (without snide sarcasm that addresses nothing), why this man would take a leadership role with Natural Shrimp.
Sept. 15 is nigh ... tick tock
