New Naked Short Selling Rules!
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- U.S. securities regulators issued new rules Wednesday designed to protect investors against so-called "naked" short-selling, including requiring short sellers to deliver securities by the close of business on the settlement date and making clear that those lying about their ability or intention to deliver on time are breaking the law. "These several actions today make it crystal clear that the SEC has zero tolerance for abusive naked short selling," said Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox. Cox was criticized by Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd on Tuesday for not doing more to prevent abusive naked short selling.

Well Im in the dark and have no idea what your talking about. I can only assume that the "Final 50" fanatical CKMX shareholders that just won't face reality have drawn some 6 degrees of separation connection between Rendal and Fuego. To tell the truth... I really just don't care.
Hugo got burned for a lot of money in CMKX along with everyone else. Thankfully he got first hand experience in what NOT to do and who NOT to be involved with. Anything that happened prior to the truth being revealed about CMKX is a moot point. We all got taken and in Hugo's case... some more than others. He lost a lot more than you me!

Here is the big news! Beverage Plus is about to go public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The shares are all on deposit with an international broker and can be traded at any time. If my math is correct we own 580,859 shares. The company has been valuated at 2.50 Euros and will open for trading at this price.
Current exchange rate is 1 dollar to every .7036 Euro. This means every Euro is equal to $1.42 US Dollars.
2.50 * 1.42= $3.55 per share
3.55 * 580,859= $2,062,049.45

The money would show up on the balance sheet, thus increasing the book value. In theory that is more valuable to shareholders than the the company buying shares...

From the comments of the Orchard guys and The Orchard's business profile... Fuego may one day be a fantastic acquisition target. I don't think that actually play into any of Hugo's short or mid term plans, but it would be a nice situation to be in several years from now!
The Latin market is the largest minority in the US and relatively ignored by mainstream media giants at this point. Fuego has a unique opportunity in the next several years to take a massive slice of the Latin Media pie with little competition.

Wealth of talent has foreigners eager to pounce on unknown artists
From Celia Cruz to Wifredo Lam, music and art have figured among Cuba's most famed exports through the decades.
Songs and paintings still count among the most popular products from the island, these days with tunes from bands like Los Van Van and paintings from artists such as Kacho.
The Cuban government has long recognized its trove of creative talent, and artists enjoy special status among Cuban citizens.
Since the early '90s, artists have been able to travel overseas, sign contracts with foreign distributors, sell their works abroad -- even in the United States -- and keep a portion of the revenue their sales generate.
Most well-known Cuban artists already have representation deals with overseas art galleries and record labels, but that doesn't mean U.S.-based entrepreneurs aren't preparing to storm the island to hunt for undiscovered talent and works in the event of an end to the embargo.
"I hope to be the first one, " says Ramón Cernuda of Cernuda Art in Coral Gables. He represents 12 contemporary artists on the island and would like to open a gallery in Havana as soon as he's legally able.
"These societies in the vortex of change generate incredible artistic movements, and there is a thirst for art in the post-modern world, " Cernuda says.
On the music side, entrepreneurs also see a competitive scenario but say that although many performers already have recording contracts, that doesn't rule out new deals.
"There's plenty of room, " says Hugo Cancio, chief executive of Fuego Entertainment in Miami. "Nobody's signing long-term contracts with anybody anymore."
Cancio's company has formed an exploratory committee with Wall Street analysts and interested investors to look into opportunities, including extensive music publishing catalogs and film libraries owned by the government.
Likely to bubble to the surface: legal disputes over back royalties for U.S.-based Cuban artists whose music has been licensed to European agencies by the Cuban government, Cancio predicts.
"The potential transformation is huge, " he says.
Looks like Hugo is going after the ViaShow money he iinvested. Nicole Durr never upheld her part of the deal and now has a multi-million dollar Las Vegas show. Time to pay up.

Talked to Dan today and he said an 8k is on the way pertaining to Beatles Tapes. That's all I got for you at the moment. It is unlikely we will ever know the contents of the settlement so we will have to wait and see how the company proceeds.
