FTK 22% of the FLOAT is Short... Moves on nothing. I added big down here at 2.23.. Looks to make a nice comeback today...
MPG looking to have a nice gap up
wow that's awesome that was literally a needle among many haystacks
You know it seems the only way to learn to stay away from pink's is to learn your lesson some who are smart learn there lesson after one loss and hopefully the loss wasn't so huge. But most have lost quite a bit on a number of pink trades. I think the bottom line is stay away from most all pinks even if your uncle is the CEO and he is going to announce that his company truly discovered the secrete of how to stay young....
Its all BS. Bottom line Learn at Wealth U how to trade big boards, learn how to read charts and use common sense...
If no one has any idea what is going on here I'll try to contact them tomorrow
I am also still holding... Chart seems to look like a hold here.
You know, I think this is one of those companies that is going to survive this downturn. Being in Southern cali and familiar with the properties they own I have no doubt that if the debt is managed they should be ok.... This looks like a COT play. COT aka RC cola was under a buck shot up to 5-6 bucks in no time... This will do the same. They have too many assets and too many folks who actually know what they are doing and care about the company
Is the process of acquiring preferred shares the same as acquiring common stock?
Maguire is in an interesting position to be the leader in the Real estate recovery.
I am really confused about this 100 shares trade is it just a boring day or does this mean something both FTK and MPG are doing this
Thanks KG
330000 share buy at 1.10 just went through on MPG
thinking about adding more MPG here. thoughts?
good morning all. ANy confirmation on the "black beauty" on MPG?
MPG close 1.05 662000 shares traded
MPG... Bulls found there support I think
MPG they way overdid the shorting here
I would say that a stock like MPG already at a dollar with short interest at 14% is a lot.
MPG almost 4 million shares short about 14% of the float according to Shortsqueeze.com... Be patient with this one... It will move... I'm holding tight from a 1.18 entry
Question about chart. If you are swing trading for a week or days what is the best format for the chart weekly or daily?
Shares of Sealy Corp. (ZZ, $2.34, -$1.01, -30.15%) dropped Thursday as investors began trading rights from an offering made by the manufacturer of Posturepedic mattresses. SunTrust Robinson Humphrey analyst Keith Hughes said the company's rights offering is "a very dilutive transaction" and the stock declined sharply as the offering's trade settlement date is approaching. On average, it takes about three days to settle the trade, and the rights are scheduled to be active Tuesday.
According to Dow Jones News wire
does anyone know when those who got stumped in DVFI will be able to trade and get rid of our PACOL shares? I have a ton of them and don't know if they will let us sell them yet.

ConAgra Foods and Constar Receive 2008 WorldStar Award for Hunt's Ketchup 46-Ounce DiamondClear® PET Bottle
Thursday December 18, 2:00 pm ET
Ketchup bottle is one of only five winners chosen from the United States for international recognition
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ConAgra Foods, Inc. (NYSE: CAG - News), one of North America's leading packaged food companies, and Constar International (NASDAQ: CNST - News), were clear winners for the World Packaging Organization's 2008 WorldStar Award, the international packaging industry's most prestigious honor. The two companies were recognized for ConAgra Foods' 46-ounce Hunt's® Ketchup bottle made using Constar's DiamondClear® PET technology. Formal presentation of the WorldStar Awards will take place in Mexico in May 2009.

This is not the first honor the Constar-produced Hunt's Ketchup bottle has received. In 2007, the Institute of Packaging Professionals' AmeriStar Awards recognized it as the top sustainable package of 2007. The package also won a second AmeriStar Award in the Food Category.
“At ConAgra Foods, we're focused and committed to utilizing new and better packaging materials that are environmentally friendly and designed for better recyclability,” said Gail Tavil, vice president of sustainability and channel development, ConAgra Foods. “The 46-ounce Hunt's Ketchup bottle was the first to be made with DiamondStar PET technology, but we have since rolled out this technology on all our other-sized Hunt's Ketchup bottles as well. We're proud that our efforts were recognized by the World Packaging Organization and are thrilled to receive their WorldStar Award.”
Commenting on the WorldStar Award, Constar CEO and President Mike Hoffman said, “Being one of only five packages from the United States to be recognized by the global packaging industry as among the best in the world is very gratifying. The WorldStar Packaging Award is a tribute to ConAgra Foods, who saw the value of our technology, and to our people, who pushed the boundaries of materials science and engineering to bring DiamondClear to life. It is a privilege to be able to offer a package that meets the goals of sustainability, product protection and merchandising.”
The competition for the 2008 WorldStar Award drew nearly 300 entries from around the world, with winners selected as international standards of packaging excellence from which others may learn. The lightweight Hunt's Ketchup PET bottle employs Constar's innovative DiamondClear technology that delivers exceptional clarity, advanced barrier performance and optimized sustainability. It is a high-performance alternative to glass and other plastic containers for a wide range of beverages and foods.
By using Constar's DiamondClear PET technology, ConAgra Foods was able to reduce the weight of its 46-ounce ketchup bottle by nearly 12 percent, a significant sustainability gain. In addition, DiamondClear provides glass-like clarity, a real breakthrough for an oxygen scavenging material that is blended directly into PET. Its exceptional barrier performance preserves the vibrant red color and flavor of Hunt's Ketchup, while delivering optimum presentation on the shelf. Once the product is gone, consumers can place the empty bottle in a curbside-recycling bin.
For ConAgra Foods, the use of DiamondClear technology for Hunt's Ketchup bottles is just one of the company's numerous initiatives focused on improving packaging sustainability. In August, ConAgra Foods became the first company in North America to incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic in its frozen meal trays – an effort that will divert approximately 8 million pounds of plastic from landfills to the recycling stream annually. The frozen meal trays, made with 30 to 40 percent post-consumer recycled plastic for products such as Healthy Choice, Banquet, Kid Cuisine and Marie Callender's, require less energy and resources to produce than traditional frozen meal trays.
