The system is crooked and the people are just human. If I went to congress and someone waved a half million dollar check in my face I might grab it. Then reality would be gone. I would forget that I used to scrape change off my car floor to get gas to go to work and stuff like that. How can we let our public servants be bought. Rep. Maria Cantwell from Washington State said in the last debate that Telecomunication company ATT was handing out 400,000 dollar checks on the floor of the house minutes before the vote on a telecomunication bill. Thats not freedom of speach thats bribery. We have to stop that, we cannot expect the people recieving the checks to stop it.. How can we do national citizen inititives like we do at state level? Campain finance reform should not be the title, of the inititive .. Also the Government federal, state, county, city, all get taxes off the phone bills, so they are biased to make our bill higher, and oh yeah why do we licence public airways to private companies and then let them sell the airways back to us? Because of the 400,000 dollar checks. Verizon Has bought all the pay phone booths in my area and now it costs 2.85 to make a local phone call........Ken Lay was going to run the Treasury Department!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
"We wont engage in Nation Building" George Bush. I wonder if Clinton even knew we were in Somalia?
They are all crooks. the sooner everyone figures that out the sooner we can reduce government. Limiting government power is the only solution to the problems. Republicans are not going to do it and the Democrats sure arent so the American people will have to. A vet could go to a private hospital. When you need a employee just hire a non US citizen. C we are starting already.
Yes, and the Iraqi government says it could have the security crackdown finished if the US would "let it" so we still control the country. Everything is going to plan.
If you guys would jump on Bush when he screws up maby things would change but your too woried it will make the dems look good . So you keep defending the worst policy imaginable.
Who would Jesus maim, torture, rape, and kill. I remember seing an interview during the Shock and awe portion of the war with an american pilot.. and I thought to meself he just dropped cluster bombs on Iraqi soldiers and was back to the aircraft carier drinking coffee before there bodies reached room temprature, how is that even close to being better than a suicide bomber. thats cowardly and I hold no respect for Our soldiers, who would follow Hitler if they got there paycheck.. ,,,, The same Iraqi soldiers that waved white flags made out of there underwear, in 92.. Bush did the shock and awe at night so fox news couldnt see the white flags waiving,,, murderers is what bush has made out of our young men. Bush wouldnt fight.
Tony Snow's cancer returned,...... dump some more murcery laden sludge in our rivers. then say that we care about animals more than humans,,,,I want to eat a shrimp that aint poisoned....
Would you fight if your country was invaded? yeah, I would. Especialy if the invaders took away every job in the whole country, and my family in the army was killed by stealth bombers in the first hours of the war, when they didnt do anything wrong and were in fact allowed to defend Iraq as part of the Gulf war no fly zone agrement.
faith based initiatives.....
That program needs to be terminated. the money has to funnel through the governments fat fingers then through a non profit. Most of the evangelists are for profit. the needy must be getting pennies on the dollar. if anything. and it could be a dangerous seed to plant, anarchy basicly, whos in control?

Hilary Rodham Clinton is betting on a bombing in new york city witch is likely. so she can go get photo opt , next to some blood stained new york city street.. then the war on terror will be extended and the government powers will be strengthened .. thats what she wants , in order to be the queen..... the odds of a bombing in America are great, the longer we pour gasoline on the fire over there . the more chance one spark will come this way...It will be from our allies Egypt or Soudi arabia.. Condoleza Rice is publicly asking for elections in egypt.. thats a sign .. they must have intellegence Something is coming from that way. one of the 19 was egyptian..

The other item they agree on is importing poor people at our expence . The democrats need people to help. and the repubs need cheap labor.. most repubs are bailing on gonzales because hes opened the borders to let mexicans in..
When Bush is out of office will you start pointing out the Government waste. Bush controls all the government agencies that for years us conservatives have complained about, but Bush has done nothing to stop them ,, he can wire tap and torture but he cant stop the waste in government, The ultra rich benefit from Government regulation.. it keeps new competitors down. The ultra rich can afford a team of lawyers to deal with government regulations, most americans cant ,, so the Ultra rich like big government... Thats why Bush n co are not conservative.
How come Bush Doesnt shrink Government? How come George Will Doesnt talk about government waste when Republicans are in controll?
No rights to person ,, any time a American soldier wants to search person or house is legal in Iraq. house to house search nightly brutal tactics.

The cowards that attack and murder Iraqis for the benefit of Bush oil Co. will be run out of Iraq by Iraqi freedom fighters.
Jack Abramoff (born February 28, 1958) is an American political lobbyist, a Republican political activist and businessman who is a central figure in a series of high-profile political scandals.
Abramoff pled guilty on January 3, 2006, to three criminal felony counts in a Washington, D.C., federal court related to the defrauding of American Indian tribes and corruption of public officials.[1] The following day, on January 4, he pled guilty to two criminal felony counts in a separate federal court, in Miami, related to his fraudulent dealings with SunCruz Casinos.[2]
On March 29, 2006, he was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison and ordered to pay restitution of more than $21 million. His prison sentence was the minimum permitted under a plea bargain with federal prosecutors, in part because of his purported cooperation in the federal investigation and also because over 100 influential political allies—some very recognizable names in American public policy—wrote the sentencing judge on Abramoff's behalf, urging leniency. In October 2006, over six months after his sentencing, he was ordered by a federal judge to report to federal prison by November 15, 2006.
The delay in Abramoff's imprisonment allowed him to testify in a related investigation involving the Florida gang-style murder of SunCruz Casinos owner Konstantinos Boulis and to continue cooperation with a vast investigation related to federal lobbying and related activities.
Given the complexity of the alleged crimes by Abramoff and his associates, and their apparent ability to alter major pieces of federal legislation through their illegal acts, the U.S. Department of Justice has appointed an entire inter-governmental task force, including the FBI, which has been aggressively investigating Abramoff and dozens of his closest political associates and Congressional allies for nearly two years.
"The corruption scheme with Mr. Abramoff is very extensive," Alice S. Fisher, head of the Justice Department's criminal division, said at a January 2006 news conference. But she refused to name all of the Abramoff associates under current investigation. "We name people in indictments," she said.[3]
In the months leading up to the 2006 election, the White House sought to distance themselves from the well-connected lobbyist, and downplayed his access to George W. Bush. Asked to provide photographs of the two men together, spokesmen denied that such photos existed. However, on January 8, 2007, CBS News linked to a blog website that had posted a picture of Bush with Abramoff. [4][5]
Abramoff was a top lobbyist for the Preston Gates & Ellis and Greenberg Traurig firms (see Team Abramoff) and a director of the National Center for Public Policy Research, a conservative think tank, and Toward Tradition, a religious right organization, during his criminal enterprise. He was College Republican National Committee National Chairman from 1981 to 1985. He was a founding member of the International Freedom Foundation, an "anti-communist think tank" which operated from 1986 to 1993.
Randall Harold "Duke" Cunningham (born December 8, 1941), usually known as Randy or Duke, was a member of the United States House of Representatives from California's 50th Congressional District from 1991 to 2005. Cunningham resigned from the House on November 28, 2005 after pleading guilty to accepting at least $2.4 million in bribes and underreporting his income for 2004. He pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to commit bribery, mail fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion. On March 3, 2006, he received a sentence of eight years and four months in prison and an order to pay $1.8 million in restitution. Prior to his political career, he was an officer in the United States Navy for 21 years during which time he became a flying ace for actions during the Vietnam War.

Enron collapse (2002) leading to investigation of Kenneth Lay, a top political ally and financial donor to the election campaign of President George W. Bush; Lay, who had been named as a leading candidate for Secretary of the Treasury, eventually indicted (2004). Attempts to link individual politicians with the Enron malfeasance have not been particularly successful, perhaps partly due to the fact that so many politicians of both major parties received campaign contributions (including 158 Republicans and 100 Democrats in Congress (as of 2001) [1]). , Limit Government Power, limit Government. If Keneth Lay was going to run the treasury department then the treasury dept should be disbanded. Dimantled cut, gone ,, we give crooks controll of our lives and futures,, then its our fault...
Filegate, [1] [2] arose around improper access to FBI security-clearance documents. Craig Livingstone, head of White House security, improperly requested, and received from the FBI, personnel files without asking permission of the subject individuals. Estimates range from 350 to 900 unauthorized file disclosures. The incident caused a firestorm of criticism because many of the files covered White House employees from previous Republican administrations.
In March 2000, Independent Counsel Robert Ray determined that there was no credible evidence of any criminal activity. Ray's report further stated "there was no substantial and credible evidence that any senior White House official, or First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, was involved" in seeking the files.
Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, engaged in long-running litigation over the white house personnel file controversy.

They are all crooks limit government is the only solution....
The White House travel office controversy of 1993, often referred to as Travelgate [1], began on May 19, 1993, when several longtime employees of the White House Travel Office were fired. A whistleblower's letter, written during the previous administration, triggered an FBI investigation which revealed evidence of financial malfeasance. Office director Billy Dale was charged with embezzlement. In a letter to federal prosecutors he offered to plead guilty, return $69,000, and to serve a short jail sentence. The Department of Justice refused the offer and Dale was later found not guilty at trial. Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr also investigated the firings and could find no evidence of wrongdoing on the Clintons' part. [Howard Kurtz, The Washington Post, 11/23/98]
The White House Travel Office is in the residential section of the White House, and as such, staffers serve strictly at the pleasure of the president. Historically, a change of administrations usually resulted in a brand new Travel Office staff. Despite the established presidential privilege of replacing staffers at will, Congressional Republicans alleged that friends of President Bill Clinton, including his cousin Catherine Cornelius, had engineered the firings in order to get the business for themselves.[2]
The House Government Reform and Oversight Committee eventually launched an investigation into the White House Travel Office firings. After a three-year investigation, the Chair of the committee, Pennsylvania Republican William Clinger, accused the Clinton administration of having obstructed the committee's efforts to investigate the Travelgate scandal. [3] Clinger also challenged the White House access to Billy Dale's FBI records in the Filegate affair. [4] The role of the White House staff in pressuring the FBI to launch an 'investigation' was also heavily criticized [5].
Bill Clinton later described the allegations and investigation as "a fraud

[naked women with no clothes on] Violent protest in Bagladesh.. Bert with Osama bin Laden.
The pictures showed up in posters carried by anti-American demonstrators during violent protests in Bangladesh this week.
The posters show a variety of images of bin Laden; but over the left shoulder of the largest image of the accused terrorist is a smaller image of Bert beside a smaller image of bin Laden.
"Sesame Street has always stood for mutual respect and understanding. We're outraged that our characters would be used in this unfortunate and distasteful manner. This is not humorous," Sesame Workshop producers said. "The people responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves. We are exploring all legal options to stop this abuse and any similar abuses in the future."
The image is similar to those on a Web parody site "Bert is Evil," which first appeared around 1996 on the site www.spacecat.com/bert/. The site has amassed a collection of doctored photos that depict the children's character as an evil madman working alongside villains like Hitler and grand dragons of the KKK.
But the originator of "Bert is Evil" says on his main Web page -- www.fractalcow.com/index2.html -- that he had nothing to do with the Bert and bin Laden image. He points to another Web page -- www.j-roen.net/bert/how/how.phtml -- where he says the image originated, but that page now shows only a message saying the image has been removed.
It appears that the photo in question, in which an angry Bert can be seen alongside bin Laden, was lifted from the Internet by the creators of the protest posters in Bangladesh.
It is not clear whether the protesters actually knew who the character Bert is, and what he means to U.S. children.
China and India .......
Mark Papa, CEO of EOG Resources -- EOG is short for "Enron Oil & Gas".
Papa ran EOG when it was an Enron subsidiary. Lay and Skilling wanted to continue moving Enron out of the old economy in 1999, which meant getting rid of the oil and gas exploration business. Papa believed that exploration and development was exactly the business to be in, so he bought Enron's stake in EOG -- minus its operations in China and India -- for $600 million in cash.
The exchange has been laughably one-sided: Enron flailed, EOG Resources flourished. Today, the business is worth more than $17 billion. Like Richard Kinder, Mark Papa quietly built a fortune from Enron's castoffs.

As America falls into debt other countries like China will be able to pay Saad 50-100 Billion a year. There is no honor among thieves, so we need to set a good example before we fall..
Explosives looted from Iraq munitions sites probably will continue to support terrorist attacks throughout the region? If Bush would have installed fair system of government the people of Iraq would be working and prospering. but they are left to rot and die while Haliburton and Bush Slave Trading INC. pillage. I would fight if another country came here and took all the jobs and gave them to there people. defense of the country is a primary resposibilty, and we took that away. Oil pumping we took that away. rebuilding,,, We wont even let them rebuild there own country. Bush let them take ten percent of the contracts then the pupet government just shoved that money in there pockets. So now Bush is paying SADIR a cut to give out welfare to the shites, SADIR takes the money to Iran and brings back guns and bombs to kill our soldiers ,, The Democrats know what is going on and want to milk the goat a little longer they all own hallibuton shares . The Iraqi Insurgents are naturaly occuring ellements with the type of Fake democracy Bush N Co. have set up. The oil fields secure though.
King Saad of Soadi Arabia recently braged that his people dont pay taxes. They dont pay taxes because he ownes everything, its a giant welfare state. Torture chambers, No human rights. Thats what breeds terrorists. The Congress and President of the United States Of America give him 12 Billion a year in millitary AID. What is really a payment to protect the dictatorship and steal the SAUDI ARABIAN peoples lives. The Saad regime uses American power to maintain control of the country and outsources the vast magority of work to foreners in order to keep the SAUDI ARABIAN peoples helpless and powerless. I want to see the 25 pages removed from the 911 report. Bush can protect the Saad regime, because the Democrats in congress have lunch with Mr. Saad also. The American people then are exposed to the danger of attack. Disafected Saudis Attacked us on 911 and to redact the 911 reports information pertaining to Saudi Arabia is criminal conspiracy, on the part of the White House and the Congress both parties. End support of the Saad Regime and demand A civil rights agreement similar to our Constitution and Bill of rights. Bill Clinton Gave Saad 12 billion per year as well as Bush, and both parties in Congress . The American people will have to demand new policy. Saudi Arabia’s has export revenues of $106 billion. The Mr. Saad built himself a 1 billion dollar pallace. Bush wants to give your money to Mr. Saad. President Bush had Mr. Saad to the Whitehouse the night of 911. As well as other Saad family members. They were then flown out of the country as all other flights were shut down. Thats Freedom.
Here anyone want to go on vacation?

With its sprawling tangle of highways looping around high-rise buildings and malls, Riyadh, the capital of the world’s oil-richest country, is a fitting tribute to the gasoline-fueled vehicle. Speeding through the metropolis in gleaming Mercedes sedans, executives in traditional flowing white robes are en route to work in the political, business, and economic center of Saudi Arabia, which is booming even while it struggles to balance progress with the traditions of the past.
One of the fastest-growing cities in the world, the population in Arabia’s hub of government administration, financial services, industry and agriculture has grown 8.1 percent per year, surging in half a century from 20,000 to 4.7 million people. Today, it is home to one-tenth of the country’s population. Predicted to reach 6 million by 2007, the city, fanning over 600 square miles, often is compared to Los Angeles, yet the differences are extreme in this urban center where modernization conflicts with the conservative religion.
The motto on the kingdom’s green flag — “There is no God but God; and Muhammad is his Messenger” — emphasizes the political/religious alliance that has endured in this nation since the early 18th century when religious reformer Mohammed ibn Abd al-Wahhab, seeking refuge in outlying Dir’aiyah, joined forces with the local emir Mohammed ibn al-Saud. After two centuries of upheaval, the emir’s descendent Abdul Aziz ibn Abdul Rahman ibn al-Saud (Ibn Saud) recaptured Riyadh in 1902, establishing the kingdom there in 1932.
Located in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula, remote from the more cosmopolitan ports of Jeddah and Damman, Riyadh remains fastidiously devout. Religious holidays are observed, and five times a day residents face Mecca and pray. Drinking alcohol and working on Sunday are strictly prohibited. Media coverage is monitored, and the year 2006 is marked here as year 1427 on the Muslim calendar.
Many visitors from overseas are taken aback by the Muslim practice of segregating women. Floor-length black abayas and head scarves are required cover in public and unmarried women and men are not allowed to intermingle. Restaurants and public places reserve separate, often secluded, spaces for families, and even MacDonald’s maintains separate cash registers for single men and family groups. Ironically, in the auto-based economy, women aren’t allowed to drive or own cars.
Enforcing the orthodox rules, Mutawwa moral vigilantes patrol the streets chiding women with uncovered heads, men wearing shorts, people using public telephones during prayer times. But Riyadh has a potentially rambunctious population of expats and young citizens. One-third of the residents are foreign workers, and more than half the population is younger than 19 years old. Increasingly, the conservative religious culture is confronting energy aimed at change.
Modernization, which began in the 1940s, has developed through a series of five-year development plans unveiled in 1970. In 1999 the Supreme Economic Council was created to boost investment, combat unemployment, promote privatization and streamline economic policy. Overseas investment is encouraged and foreigners have gained the right to own property and to operate businesses without a majority Saudi shareholder. Capping a 12-year application effort, in December 2005, Saudi Arabia became the 149th member of the World Trade Association.
With the world’s largest reserves of petroleum, Saudi Arabia’s oil sector is its single biggest engine for growth. Record-high oil prices last year resulted in export revenues of $106 billion, and current plans are to double refining capacity to 6 million barrels per day within five years “to meet the world’s increasing demand for oil,” said Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Al-Naimi. Twenty billion dollars are earmarked to build new refineries and to boost the capacity of eight refineries Riyadh owns inside and outside the country.
T o relieve reliance on oil, the Saudis have encouraged diversification, and the non-oil private sector now represents 44 percent of the economy, 60 percent of the GNP. Burgeoning industries – petrochemicals and plastics, food processing, power industries and water desalination – seek Western know-how and technology. Steel is a thriving industry and mineral exploration has turned up promising sites for gold, silver, copper, iron, and platinum, aluminum and phosphates. Infrastructure development has fueled a construction boom, and growth of the telecom sector is substantial. Cell phone penetration is 32 percent, expected to grow to 60 percent by 2014.
Limit Government. End all federal Education programs. end all Commerce programs. End Housing and Urban Development. End and desolve Homeland Security programs. End Energy Department after breaking up monopolies, make one law against merging energy companies. End Health and Human services. Rid us of these crooks in washington by taking away there power. If I were a political cartoonist I would draw a picture of a playground full of money and the republicans having to get out and the democrats get to go in and play with the money now after the elections. campain finance reform is just hide the money in the political party comittes and then its ok. well all that does is lets the corporations buy off only a few at party headquarters and not have to pay off each senator , if people only new how cheap our polititions were they would be sick. All tecknology advances of the last twenty years computers, cell phones and the like have been burnt by government waste, fees, taxes, permiting expenses. It is wasting our life blood. Government regulations stacked and stacked and stacked killing us. and the republicans chase after sand dunes for six years doing nothing to stop the supernova of government expansion. America is a very succesfull Comunist country. Social security The most well off get the most out of it... when they did not pay in to it. there ss taxes went to roads, wars, government programs, spent by there elected officials, then tell the grand kids that they paid in to social security fund to get retirement benifits, that is a lie and illegal accounting. If you want to pay 300 billion to protect yourself from terrorists thats fine but dont claim to have paid in to Social security then because you Did Not.
After we left Vietnam did that calm the area or escalate violence. What were the Facists saying to keep us there?
The Germans would measure a persons nose in order to determine there Jewishness. Then they would be baked in ovens by Christians. Hitler and Bush never killed a Jew or Muslim or Vietnamese with his own hands they had soldiers, or others do it for them. We must stand up to the facists. Then the rest of the world came in and destroyed the Nazis. Germany was destroyed We Americans cant let the Nazis take over our country. or we will be destroyed.
The founding Fathers of America saw the same things in there day,
King Saad of the Soudi Arabian Dictatorship has a new pallace that dwarfs any of Saddams at 1 Billion dollars, Allah must like money too. Why did Jesus call god allah? because he didnt speak English!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lie. Iraqis have no rights. it is Illegal for them to own property, The Iraqi government owns all natural resouces. No different than Saddams Bath party. Will they fund opposing pollitical parties. never. Bush n co set up the same system as before. Just like they like it.
your Island is getting smaller. the whole world despises you.
I'll stand up and say it was murder to drop bombs on the Iraqi soldiers, crime to blow the entire Iraqi infastructure to smitherines , crime to hire whiteboys to rebuild and let Iraqis sit home and starve. crime to dismantle Iraqi army. crime to turn all oil revenues to Iraqi government.
Thats right ass hole. Your facist kind need to be stoped. What Germans stood up and said baking a child in an oven is worse than being Jewish. We wont let it happen again. To bad Germans were so brain washed like yourself.
