Morning, I sure know it's a busy busy sports day! Had not even got
to the Ponies!
Rain coming in here, maybe Keeneland as well.
How well I know dealing with VA. Getting a referral for a specialist is
an absolute nightmare. So are many medications which are directly needed.
Expensive ones often take a special review and approval.
At the last, I finally got a woman who bent over backwards for
whatever he needed, and did regular Video consults, worked with Hospice Nurse.
She was one of many coordinators who took charge and chopped heads!
Good Luck, find one person who will take control OVER primary.
I'm heading out later with a friend, doing my betting at a Sports Book and a few drinks!
Thanks for your thoughts, Moanday cannot come soon enough!
Enjoy the day, and win afew!

The Profit Recession Is Now Here... And The Worst Is Yet to Come
Thursday November 3, 4:19 PM
Michael Msika and Farah Elbahrawy, Bloomberg Markets Live reporter and commentators
Let the economists debate all day long about whether a recession is coming: In corporate earnings, one has already arrived, if you set aside the oil and gas industry. And the worst may not be over.
Third-quarter earnings for companies in the S&P 500 excluding energy have fallen 3.5%, based on results so far and estimates for those still to come, according to data compiled by Bloomberg Intelligence. That’s after a 1.8% drop in the preceding period.
Making the first consecutive declines since 2020 when the pandemic began.

Morning Bid: Slower, higher, longer
A look at the day ahead in U.S. and global markets from Mike Dolan.
If markets thought a Fed 'pivot' might signal an end or even a pause to the U.S. central bank's interest rate rise campaign, they were roundly disavowed of that idea on Wednesday and have had to rethink the rate horizon yet again.
The U.S. Federal Reserve's expected 75-basis-point hike on Wednesday was accompanied by language that allowed it to downshift the size of its hikes to half a percentage point clips from next month - but which also pushed up the assumed peak 'terminal rate' next year and how long rates stay up there.
After a volatile session stocks reacted negatively on Wall Street, with the S&P500 losing more than 2% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index dropping more than 3%. Markets fell around the world overnight, with Hong Kong's Hang Seng off some 3% after its rally early in the week, and there was no bounce in U.S. stock futures ahead of Thursday's open.
U.S. Treasury yields are on the rise again as Fed rate futures now expect a terminal rate as high as 5.15% by May, with pricing for end-2023 rates just shy of 5% too - half a point higher than where futures had priced the terminal rate just one month ago.

U.S. Futures struggle for traction after latest Fed-inspired shellacking
4:56 am ET
U.S. stock futures struggled to make headway Thursday as traders absorbed the fallout from the latest Federal Reserve interest-rate decision.
How are stock-index futures trading
S&P 500 futures ES00, -0.16% dipped 4 points, or 0.1%, to 3764
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YM00, -0.10% fell 26 points, or 0.1%, to 32152
Nasdaq 100 futures NQ00, -0.26% eased 16 points, or 0.1%, to 10928
On Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -1.55% fell 505 points, or 1.55%, to 32148, the S&P 500 SPX, -2.50% declined 96 points, or 2.5%, to 3760, and the Nasdaq Composite NQ00, -0.26% dropped 366 points, or 3.36%, to 10525. The Nasdaq Composite fell for a third consecutive session, taking its loss over that time to 5.2%, and its decline so far in 2022 to 32.7%.
What’s driving markets
Stock indices were striving to stabilize on Thursday after yet another very choppy session in the wake of the Federal Reserve’s latest policy announcement.
The Fed on Wednesday delivered the expected 75 basis point interest rate hike to a range of 3.75% to 4%, but subsequent comments from Chair Jerome Powell dashed hopes that the central bank would soon pause increasing borrowing costs.
The S&P 500 turned a 1% gain into a 2.5% loss after Powell suggested that with inflation showing few signs of sliding notably from near 40-year highs, the Fed may reduce the speed of rate hikes but may extend the journey. It was the worst
performance for a "Fed Day" since 2021, Bloomberg said.
