Including myself, I got 3 others to purchase the annual 6 out plan. However, it happened last week, but that's still good. in fact it is great because the Dallas DC just opened and it is only 170 miles from their town of 4500. So they will be happy and spread the word, if they already have not.
Thank you for the explanation. Sorry for any hard words, it was late and I could not sleep. Even though at times I disagree with some of your ideas, I feel you are a seasoned investor and therefore read your posts with an open mind. Also, this is my first penny, so I have been in a sort of shock mode during this year of the dog.
Since the IPTV PR states "intends to purchase" and "intend to produce a new channel", there is really no definite in this at all.
You ridiculed me the other day for presenting an idea that rural expansion was a good idea so GZFX would have a slow to moderate growth. I felt it was a bad idea to advertise too much, due to amount of DC's, website, and other factors, but you thought it was a laughing matter and absurd that a company would not want to expand as fast as possible. It went down something like that, so have another drink and pretend you did not say it, dude.
open it where? i got a dvd from the dallas dc today. that is a dc, it is opened.
He makes $ .05 because someone was stupid enough to click.
The reason I ask is the wording in the PR - "intend to produce a new channel"
The two companies intend to produce a new channel to be aired in the United Kingdom. Focusing on the needs of British business owners and entrepreneurs to be better informed about the business of doing business, The Business Channel will be the leading component of a venture into this media space that the two companies believe is poorly served by mainstream and financial broadcast channels.
Do you think "The Business Channel" is mainly to camoflauge the potential advertising GZFX can obtain from this deal?
Magazines on planes in Canada. It seems like Canada has been mentioned before as a possible country with the graet service and products of GZFX. What about radio shack and CC in Canada. It is all coming together.

They would advertising it all, they would be part owner now, and possibly 1/2, 3/4 , etc in the future. They would advertise for GZFX, and all of the other clients that want their service.
Don't you get it, they will be advertising to hundreds of millions of people and homes. And they will be own it, rather than pay premium for the ads. If they then get some downloading going, then BAM!

Yes, but I like games sometimes. Oh I forgot, I don't like to spend additional money when unnecessary.
Just got a DVD from Dallas DC today.

"I have always worked in broadcast media or media related fields, developing a wide range of skills and expertise in television presentation and production. Until November 2002, I was the Series Producer for BBC Television's "Talking Movies". I then joined London International Television as Head of Production while setting setting up a television consultancy business to further exploit my wide-ranging career and experience which has involved me with many of the major broadcasting organisations in the UK."
http://www.me-tvconsult.com/html/commissions.html
"Talking Movies" is now broadcast 52 weeks of the year on BBC News 24, BBC World and BBC America. Last year it earned a place in BBC 2's programme schedule. The programmes are also to be found on a number of airlines including British Airways and United Airlines. The audience for Talking Movies is potentially the largest in the world - over 254 million homes in over 200 countries on BBC World; 11% share of multi-channel homes in the UK on BBC 2; numerous US channels that subscribe to BBC America and on trans-Atlantic, South Pacific and US domestic air routes. And so, it must rank as one of the world's most widely accessible programmes.
I am proud to have been the programmes creator and wish it continuing success all around the world.
2mm over the next year, maybe due next summer. PR says gzfx MAY invest 10-25mm, not will. So, at this point we have a year to pay minimum 2mm.
Anybody watch the video and see the website scene. It's not the current one, it looks much more professional.
So, this either means we are making some good revenues now, or diluting up a storm, right? Where else would we get that much money?
The Flash 8 player is the perfect movie trailer player, no downloading needed. Click around on the watch now or download now trailers. The watch now are all Flash 8, while the download now are WMP and Quicktime.

It is (imo) the best stand alone video player out there. Used by youtube and many many others. Check out ON2's site and see the difference between windows media, real player, quicktime and flash8 using ON2's VP6 compression codec.
Looks like clickcaster is upgrading GZFX to Flash 8, rather than Quicktime. I believe they are using sorenson squeeze right now, that is why it looks a little digitized. I hope they upgraded the codec (VP6) from ON2 technologies (ONT), the new Flash 8 codec. When, or if, they utilize that codec, it will look great and downloads faster than any other player/codec. In fact, it starts downloading before anything else on the page and starts playing while it is downloading.
After 30 + movies and games, I just got my first "no postmarked/stamped" GZFX DVD envelope in the mail. Does this mean anything?
Does it have something to do with so many people trying to download it this past week. Maybe causing some overwhelming traffic for clickcaster, hindering their ability to tweak it. I have no clue, just a wag.
How long has it said this -
"This trailer is provided by ClickCaster for GameZnFlix TEST PURPOSES ONLY and should NOT be downloaded. Although you technically can..you shouldn't."

"Although you technically can..you shouldn't."
I don't understand this comment.
I see the current CC rollout and ads in the weekly flyers as widespread advertising to all walks of life, as well as the 300,000 plus searches done on a monthly for "video game rentals". Of course many of those searching via the web will not choose GZFX. However, some will...in fact many (imo). It is a snowball effect. One student, in one dorm, on one campus has a different game every time you walk by his room. "Dang man, how many games do you own"? "None", he replies, I rent them from GZFX". "From where" and so on.... At least this is how I believe many small companies make it without spending mucho on advertising. Kids talk, not about wars or the weather, but pop culture. As we all know, video games and movies are at the top of the list.
Tell me, why then did CC not request a full US rollout in Jan or Feb.? Were they not satisfied with the trial last year? If they were, why wait month after month after month to add GZFX to 45-110 stores?Does CC not want to make money in a product they believe in? They do believe in them, right? Are or do they just think the GZFX cases add a little something special to their stores?
"The agreement calls for adding between 45 and 110 locations each month until full deployment is reached prior to the 2006 holiday season."
Rural communities have a very limited selection of entertainment to choose from. It is typically either a Movie Gallery or a locally owned video rental store. With these come high priced rentals and poor selections, and I do mean poor. If you do, or ever have lived in a town with a population under 5000, you will understand. If JF is looking to build a strong company with a low churn rate, where else do you recommend he do so? Advertising in highly populated areas would create an influx the current DC's could not handle, which means unhappy city folk.
Any idea how many of your friends have joined and are still members?
Right on. Listen fellow shareholders, how many of you are subs? How many of you have recommended GZFX to a friend, relative, stranger, etc.? How many hundreds of thousand searches are done on a monthly basis for video game or DVD rental? I brought in three subs including myself. They are very happy and have continued their service. They have spread the word as well. CC is not, imo, the future of this company. The website or DC's are not ,imo, ready for an onslaught of gamersand movies buffs. Online advertising will be coming if JF keeps his word. You know, kinda like NFLX. Somedays I see so many NFLX popus and banners, I almost think they own the web. They are spending the dough, and don't have games.
Article on downloads. I followed a video compression company, ON2 (ONT), for years and watched just how difficult the Blue-Ray, EVD, FVD, etc. decision was and is still for movie studios. I believe it will be many years until the download is a major part of the industry.

Yes, but it appears s/he keeps coming back for more. Maybe they realized what a mistake they were making on the way down and maneuvered, finding a nice soft spot to land upon. You see, s/he keeps on coming back, amazing.
The heat means more kids and young adults inside playing video games and looking around the web trying to find video games. I know there is not much in your face advertising going on yet, but if looking for video game rentals via a google search, GZFX is right on top (or close to it).
Bought my first book from GZFX. They do not charge for shipping. Same book on Amazon-$5.99 + shipping. I got it for $4.85.
sorry, click on downloads.
it says they have games, limited though.
Pardon me if this has been mentioned or posted. Seems the Europeans got a good one here.

Service is outstanding in West TX, 900 miles from the nearest DC. No TX DC postmark yet. Funny thing,I have only rented three games and they have all been hand stamped. While no DVD's have been stamped, but only metered. Last game was shipped on the 13th from Maryland and I got it on the 15th. If your service is not so good, try the 6 out plan. Maybe that's why I get them so fast. Also, I have noticed the mailers are cleaner, stiffer, and easier to open. Could just be my mind playing tricks on me, but it seems so. Also, have not had a beat up disc that would no play since Jan. In fact, for the most part they are very clean and brilliant.
