LQMT market cap represents one of a thousand new options for mfg.
It simply has been decimated and reflects the IP bridge back to China(CCP).
If all we have is 106c, and nothing more, we are in serious trouble.
DM has more in R&D than LQMT ever has..

While not a fan of SPACs, its an American company that has a foundation to advance USA mfg.
Yeah, seems like this thing really has become a mirage with no desert..
What is your actual take on Apple using hinges? And them being LQMT?
I do believe Apple will make a foldable suite of products. The market is craving change/innovation.
Why LQMT?
Anymore, I wonder why LQMT when we have companies like this?
https://www.desktopmetal.com/
Much more transparent, market oriented and attention to communication.
At least you can understand and see what their goals are and products offering. Sure, BMG vs. 3d but each present growth, just one gives you information/communication from the top within same growth market - specialty mfg/metals.
And the 3d printing space has actually moved higher...so..
Flip Phone Market - Looks Good

Is this LQMT IP?
Will we get paid?
Much of the larger LK machinery and die-cast machinery is, the way I understand it, not LQMT directly related. Affiliated, yes. Direct, no.
Whether the mental impressions have been absorbed is tbd.
Also, does Li have his Eontec holdings in HK LQMT?
I dont disagree with you. Its just the market cared about the revenue growth(specifically in a new market of an industry).
Do you have the breakdown of % ownership re; HK LQMT?
It carrys the most weight see; TESLA
FCF negative for most of its existence; however, those revenues...
Must have substantial revenue growth to evaluate, first.
And a clear understanding of how the revenue is generated, second.
One time vs. recurring, etc..
This is the most vague company I have ever been involved in...
They don't want anyone knowing exactly what is going on...
The SEC filing doesnt tell the story - its really just there to keep the regulatory in compliance..
They(the entire maze and CCP plan) needed LQMT USA IP. They say it clearly in your response. No frills. Facts.
Lets just hope that LQMT USA is somehow still relevant somewhere now and in future. The R/D part has been brought to China. LQMT USA has no R/D expenditures anymore.
I would imagine LQMT USA is Apples way of keeping control over IP. That is about all we have going for keeping the boat from breaking up.
I wouldnt leave now....
Thats great. Lets hope it generates revenue for LQMT USA via this sprinkled IP maze.
For clarification I have the following % ownership for HK LQMT:
44-46% of LQMT USA
16% of Yihao
25% of Shenzhen Li'an Liquid Metal Equipment Co
Correct me if Im wrong. And what are the other %'s and companies that HK LQMT own?
Wait, let me get my understanding correct.
HK LQMT which is the holder of LQMT USA via Li now owns 16% of Yihao?
So, HK LQMT is:
44-46% of LQMT USA
16% of Yihao
What is crazy is we know LQMT is being used in so many different places and areas. Yet we actually have no clue on how we are going to make money off of it and have no ability to ask these direct questions to our CEO.
Could you imagine just 5-7 questions to the CEO would clarify and help his shareholders understand what LQMT is doing these days. After all, we have some hard earned money invested here.. Im not into vague blog posts.. but lets be clear, this is all part of the Belt Road initiative... and the CCP does not want anyone to know what they are doing... likely the reason...we are simply caught in the middle.. USA IP as major through line for BMG dominance.
I understand folks want to give Li a pass but after 5yrs and not one word from him as CEO...
he did say "trust me" - as much of the business culture in China is based on such, we are giving him enormous runway and putting enormous trust in him...
If the trust pays off, and LQMT USA is his mainstay ticket throughout all things licensing for BMG, then it will be a epic scenario...after all, the material is being used in many solutions in China based on the information we have seen... this is simply what we are invested in... Trust to Li on LQMT.
I dont understand...
Apple sells 200m + Iphones a year...
If we are getting paid on royalties/licensing, I would expect pennies on hundred million + units, a year
The dental r us, is validity of solution but not how LQMT survives.
no controlling interest..
but definitely control..true

No control.
Vested interest in the Maze, clearly.
Ill post this link here again if you haven't already read it.

Ive always just wanted truth.
Not what I want to believe.
We can agree to disagree. The timing of all things are very peculiar. I have accepted that fact and am not blaming CCP, etc. They knew what they wanted and went after it. I wish USA would have done the same or had the gumption to do so. Eontec knew it needed to make first move to PLA, then needed funding which was performed by CCP's state funded investment.
I sometimes find it amazing though that some people can not look at the facts and at least acknowledge that CCP's state funded investment company has and continues to invest in MIC 2025 plan. Thats a fact. Its not a secret. They are funding a master plan for all things advanced mfg. While we in USA are legalizing marijuana and all super excited about weed farm growing companies.
No, I simply read the link that LQMT USA posted in 2018 about CCP investment corp and Eontec, our PLA partner, brah!
"Zhuzhou State-owned Assets Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. (“Zhuzhou”)"
https://www.liquidmetal.com/exec-supporters/
That could be... However, the commercialization had to do with CCP behind this to ensure it has the capital and support.
I would agree; however, this is mostly China govt(CCP) driven - command/control government economics. They strategized , endorsed and invested in all things BMG and built out a city now with this whole industry. Li was/is just one of the players.
No but there is a relationship to why we exist and why we are here.
if you understood anything about algorithm trading, its sequential following geometry. Programs run on TA - if you read a bit, youll understand.
I think a simple communication would be respectful to shareholders.
Regardless if he spoke, I believe the plan was always to have the Zhuzhou(CCP sponsored investment vehicle), to create an avenue of capital flow for 2025 roadmap.
Clearly it was a major concern for shareholders back then https://www.liquidmetal.com/exec-supporters/
but a nice hello, I am still here and am seeing many good things etc. happening. or clarifying terms with Eontec, etc. as it relates to what we have seen with the use of BMG's in China...
Impressive and Innovative

This design makes me want one. I have contemplated switching from Apple to this phone. Even going trough pain of Cloud switching..
You even have a screen on fold part that shows texts, etc... super functional for our lives... I dont always need to see all the apps and big screen... just need to check my texts..
Hopefully LQMT
Regardless though. All these phones simply lack anything new.
A huge shakeup in market is needed. They all have "pro" "X" blah blah blach in them...they are all just big and sleek looking with cool commercials... but nothing really changes in them..
Without being gender bias, men are tired of carrying these big ole phones in their back pocket.
I think a simple acknowledgment he is still involved and committed to LQMT USA would be a simple start.
We havent heard 1 word from him since 2016. The leader of our company.
General premise, yes. This is the way I understand it.
I always knew we needed a mfg to step up and invest. Always thought Materion would pull that part together with Engel in ways, or find the right firm.
So, Li came in, took the IP back to China and with CCP investment into Eontec is in process of scaling the market.
The 106c strategy was how you organized it. No tea leaves, thats how we make money with 106c is what has been banged into my brain now.
The CIP does not have 106c in it but rather processes, advanced methods, etc. Li put both grandmas recipes on both sides of the IP BMG family and made a better recipe, 106c for industrialization. And then told Apple that they are going to scale the mfg process. And if they want in, they can pay LQMT a royalty to use 106c. We'll manufacture for you. And may even bring some mfg to USA through Foxconn. But pay us. And maybe even a large up front payment and then some royalties, like the MTA but different this time.
The way I understand it.
pft
What happened on sell side flicker is happening on buy side flicker now...
if it pulls rug, there is a large large large pile of buyers...
if you see $0.085 that will pull in 10m+ in volume...
market will start to discount the 10k statement..
Apple will not want IP in full control of China law. Simple.
They will one way or another use LQMT USA(CIP) as an avenue of control.
The 10Q statement changed. What is interesting is they use word "limited" - so, the question I have relates to the use of 106c and/or any of the uses we have seen in China. Are they 106c? Are they from the PLA?
There has been feedback in various forms and extrapolation of same. From ASUS to Huawei. Yet, I wonder if that is some other BMG.
Apple will keep a close eye on LQMT USA, its China(CCP) Eontec PLA. Apple definitely needs LQMT USA to interpret/defend its IP in international law. Much simpler to do so. Li knew this had to be the case and with CCP backing, bought into LQMT USA to corner Apple to Eontec using CIP(LQMT USA).
While not guaranteed, the case seems to be growing. The market will start to wake up to this fact.
I wonder if LQMT USA(106c) is expecting and will demand cash upfront for production of Apple hinge to begin.
This could be the indication of "pay me" then we can run parts with license fee going forward. Almost a very similar deal as the original Apple MTA, except this time Apple has no way out on the long term back end, if 106c is unattainable under MTA.
This time its $30m please and 2% licensing fees on cost of parts(gross) in perpetuity, just like you did us last time Apple. Thank you and good night.
"Everything the power does, it does it in a circle"
I would imagine with continued interest and talk about how cool the foldable phone market has become, Apple may actually be concerned about market share. Consumers are noticing the foldable phones. Once they like, know what they want to produce, they will start contracting, quick.
