Sheadoggy is 100% correct. No cash out of Liberties pocket here. Aphria announce this deal a month ago or so. It's their transaction, not LHSIF.
Here's the AQMS News release link:

News release at close of market today. 4th Qrtr report is scheduled to be released on 2/28/2019. This is earlier than planned (original est. date was 3/8/19). They're also going to a host a conference call on the same date.
SmokeABull, You do know there are only 18 followers on this blog? As a "Short", why are you wasting your time bashing this stock to so few? Do you actually think you can deflate the SP?
Inforthemoney2 and Dadeano,
I take it that you, Dadeano, were able to verify that LHSIF has $19.2M cash? IMO, it should provide for the new dispensaries and operational costs for the short term. I believe that the 360 cultivation space had been fully funded previously. Currently, I see that they have 60,000 sq. ft. of cultivation space in place and 80,000 more by the end of March per their Feb. 14, '19 news release. It seems to be coming together provided they can generate sales.
IMO, Origin House should approach a $20.00 SP in 2019. ORHOF has proven to be a well-run concern w/ savvy management.
I am afraid that you are right. They had about $20M end of 3rd qrtr. 300+ million shares outstanding. IMO, they don't need a dilution.
Word is getting out. To name a few: Ford Equity Research upgrade; Oppenheimer upgrade. Institutional holdings approx. 27%. Insider buying increased in January '19 (Insider holdings approx. 11%). Shorts down 19% as of Dec.'18. Viable Board of Directors! JCI agreement! One year SP target $9.50 per sited Yahoo analysts.
Could it be time to go long?
I agree; hopefully we'll have a good progress report in March. SP up and good volume today, too. Over double the daily avg.
Nice move up today. I saw that Oppenheimer boosted their rating to a "Buy". Volume way up to 1 3/4 million.
From the AQMS Website, I see that AQMS has a new VP Of Operations. He is a former Johnson Controls exec. with seemingly extensive relevant experience. In his bio, AQMS states that he was appointed to VP of Operations in "late 2018."
I see that COO Mould has been terminated at AQMS. Anyone care to speculate on the move? Significant severance pkg!
Some good news on the LHSIF front:

I recently bought some Liberty Health Sciences Inc. stock. If my sources were correct and I believe there were, I was amazed to read that from their inception in 2014 through to and including 2017 they had no income to report. 2018 will be the first fiscal year that they realized some income. A whole lot of R & D and capital goods expenditures later, I think they want to show us what they've got.
It took awhile but things are looking up IMO. Researching the best that I could, I have gleaned that they still have approx. $25m in cash and very little debt., and currently the capacity to supply about 10-15% of the Fla. medical cannabis market. Additionally, they have seemingly quality products with name recognition and are about to quadruple their production facilities in the coming months per company bulletins. Again IMO, the lack of legal recreational MJ sales in Fla. will curtail blockbuster sales. But I am wondering with the forthcoming improved production capacity if they can't start exporting product soon. I know that they are looking at licensing agreements in other states. Canada has production limitations presently; perhaps Canada, too. Wouldn't that help the cash flow.

Positive developments per the Oct 12, '18 announcement today regarding AQMS. Regarding production, they are apparently well down the road towards resolving the essential electrolyte recapture/recycle problem. It appears that they are quite hopeful about getting more product to the market in the not too distant future.
An interesting (and positive) assessment on AQMS. Go to Yahoo Finance and Search AQMS News. The Simply Wall St. article should be accessible. Here's the title of the article posted 9-7-18:
Is Aqua Metals Inc (NASDAQ:AQMS) A Financially Sound Company?
Simply Wall St. via Yahoo Finance
I suspect that good news is on the horizon.
SP is up. Good volume, too. Could there be positive developments on production issues forthcoming? However, no recent news on that front that I can find. Once again, there are some rosey Analysts' Reports abound. Oppenheimer for one. I am liking the gains, but I have no explanation.
Zach's has posted a Analysist's Report as of late. Most of the ratings are a "Buy". I noted per the report that Insiders have increased their holdings to 18.% of the stock and Hedge Funds and Investors increased their holdings to 25%. Here's the link:

Per the Aug 27 announcement, AQMS is looking to add a new Vice-President/HR Director. She has a medium-sized corporate HR background. Could it be that AQMS is going to soon be adding the present 69 employees or so?
Yes, good to know Kanen increased their position. They must see potential.
I can't help but notice that the company is being very transparent and forthcoming in their announcements. They don't want to mislead anybody and get themselves in another sticky legal situation, I am sure. Bottom line is they didn't hit production target goals. Some profit but AQMS under-performed 2nd Quarter. Apparently, they have a glitch in the manufacturing process which includes an electrolyte recycling issue. Hopefully, they can resolve the setbacks 3rd Quarter.
I am sure that the Shorts are not helping the SP, too.
Gohigh,
Have you heard why CFO Knuettel resigned?
I believe I saw that S. Cotton has an 100K stock bonus pending if he can bring AQMS to $7.00 per share by the end of his first year of tenure. If I am correct, this reinforces his position.
I am holding this stock, but watchful. SP is down around $2.90 per share. Not huge, but off a bit. Could it be that 2nd Quarter Report is not the good news we are expecting. But who knows? The market is fickle.
Q2 2018 ER due out Aug. 9. Analysts are projecting a $.17 loss for the QRTR, which is an improvement over the last. I think we're all waiting for an update on the ramping up of the production facility. Hopefully 24-hr shifts are staffed and in place for the original 4 Pods and progress has been made on adding more refurbished Pods to the production line.
They should be ramping up production to 24 hour per day soon on the four operating Pods. Hopefully, they're also working on (or will soon) retrofitting another series of four. In the meantime, I see it as a buying opportunity.
Thank you. Now I understand. So, they are obtaining outside financing for future expansion projects? Nice run-up today. I didn't see anything newsworthy on AQMS today. Favorable Analysts' reports getting the word out perhaps.
Sorry for my ignorance, but what does non-dilutive mean?
I too for one have a portion of my stock portfolio that needs to regain a lot of ground just to break even. If it hasn't gone bust and it's in an IRA stock acct. like mine, nothing to do but ride it out or take the loss. I am wondering if anything ever came of the attempted lawsuit that the various myriad of attorneys were trying to mount against AQMS? Do you know if that litigation is still active? Regarding the proxy fight, I see that it has been settled. That's good.
Oppenheimer forecasts $14.00! I didn't see that. I see the present lull as a buying opportunity.
Thanks for providing some content to our lonely little website, derkampfer. I happened upon this stock a few months ago. Since then, I've doubled my quanity of shares and have seen >>50% return. Through the ups and downs (the shorts can sure rock the boat), I've been a "hold". IMO, you are accurate. Great potential here.
Things are definitely looking up. Let's hope this new spirit of cooperation continues to evolve. Now, I only wish I had bought more shares when it was at a bargain price.
Yep, time for a change. A public corp. needs to be run like one; not a good-ole-boys club. I am irked by the huge compensation they dole out to their board members. Let's see if the larger shareholders and institutional investors are in agreement. Kanen has certainly provoked some action at AQMS hdqrtrs.
AQMS making good moves today re SP and volume.
Well, Kanen has laid out a viable management plan. They have also shed light on some significant existing management shortcomings. For example, until recently the CEO was also Chairman of the Board of Directors; not the usual corporate protocol. Another example is the compensation for the members of the Board. Kanen's research alleges that each board member earns 150K annually. Kanen states the typical board member compensation should be less than 50K. It will be interesting to see if the many quality institutional investors will support the change. I guess we'll find out.
Well, Kanen Wealth Mgt is making a move - a proxy fight for some or all control of the Board of Directors at Aqua Metals. I am going to assume that Kanen sees some value in AQMS. There is no abundance of cash or capital to grab here. Apparently, they think that they can grow the company. That given, note that they hold 7.9% of the AQMS common stock; not enough "say" standing alone. What I want to know is - who is this small investment firm with only a total of $67,000,000.00 in various small cap. market plays and a minority holding of AQMS stock? I am going to need a whole lot more information before I sign a white proxy card.
Murphy, who stepped out of retirement to be an Interim CFO, has been replaced effective next week. In addition, a search is on for a new CEO. It seems that the proposed legal action is the impetus for the shakeup, but there is definitely a new sheriff in town. Is it a take-over or a self-imposed house cleaning to quiet the discontent investors.
This investor welcomes an uncoming Press Release and Conference Call hosted by the CEO and Acting CFO on March 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM PT. A very proactive AQMS Management Team. .
Good news re production today (over 4500 lbs. of finished product in a 24 hr. period), but only 1/16th of the modules have been retrofitted. Concerns me that AQMS is not giving investors a more specific target date for retrofitting the remained 15. One has to wonder about the pending litigation, too. What a nuisance! How did that happen?
Yes, a likeable $3 again after a pullback. Savvy investors see potential; some very positive analysis surfacing on AQMS. Let's hope the proposed pending litigation is found to have no merit without protraction.
