What a distortion of what I said. Not investment advice. Of course my point is how little Missling is thought of at JPM.
MIssling agreed it was disrespectful, but said there was nothing he could do about it.
So, in other words, not as you claim nonsense.
BTW - I pointed out to Missling how disrespected he must feel to get such a $hitty timeslot.
Another crappy stock that's below $1.00 has a much better slot.
What does that tell you?
In this case you couldn't be more wrong.
JPM time slot is a disaster - what a surprise since Missling is a disaster.
Last day of conference with no other companies of note left.
In short, no investor, analyst, etc. will be there to watch.
If Missling is trying to eff this up this badly he couldn't do it as good as this.
Anyone who thinks the presentation will be anything more than the corporate deck is just plain wrong.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.....
I just believe in writing in complete, comprehensible sentences, that's all.
Good, when we're arguing semantics like you just did questioning whether CM "promised anything" the END IS NEAR.
Where he, you or anyone else likes it or not putting expected year 2022 on a published slide deck is a promise.
Whether that's fair or unfair isn't the point and you implying he never actually promised anything is something you tell yourself to make yourself feel better. I understand it. I have done it with past investments failures too.
Anybody on LinkedIn see the holiday greeting video from Sorrento?
10 seconds long - nobody cares
Where is Ji?
I'll bet not in the U.S. after seeing SBF in handcuffs this morning.
Your replies to me never make any sense.
I have no position.
This is basically worthless information in that everyone already knows this.
"May get it done and released" That's the same as soon, mid year, expected = worthless
AD data is a key question, no doubt, but I would like to know where is the effing PDD OLE data Missling promised as recently as last month? WTF? Or, better the peer reviewed PDD data you promised Missling you spineless, pinhead.
As well as answers on timing of the rest of catalysts to drive value slide.
This guy Missling just sucks - I'm sorry, but he does.
That's why Missling doesn't want 80% institutional ownership. Retail is dumb money.
He knows real investors would hold him accountable and my guess is he would have been fired right after CTAD or if not then the Monday morning after the disastrous conference call.
This price action makes me regret covering my short at $2.00.
Could have made a lot more money.
Oh well.
This company is done.
Can't be saved now.
Equity holders to be wiped out in bankruptcy.
Just looked. Don’t see it. Lie or private message.
You people trust too much. Unless that is if you disagree.
Show me data to prove it. Dude is gone. The great Knock from CS Lewis surprised by joy would say show me data. My data says he’s disappeared.
If he cared about his integrity and reputation he would.
Then where is he? I say gone. People that funded were scammed.
Trying to hard to convince me. If it’s that hard, that’s the problem in a nutshell.
Or he grifted a free trip to SF from this message board.
I think he sold and moved on after a detailed review of the data presented.
Specifically what did Fierce write that is wrong/fraud?
You should post the article and then next to each sentence write in red what is wrong about the previous sentence and then write the correction.
If you don't do that you're the no better than AF where he just screams fraud, it's all wrong, but with nothing to back it up.
Crappy little biotechs fail not because of a conspiracy, but because of poor execution.
It's the same for failures in any business
You can invent the greatest thing ever, but if you can't navigate the competitive landscape and execute flawlessly you will fail.
Right now, AVXL is teetering on failing. Not today, not tomorrow, but in the future.
The data as presented was messed up. I, and many others on this board and others that are fellow investors not on this board have a problem with the data. I'm not nor are they part of the cabal. If Missling can't present data clearly enough for people with above average intelligence to understand than the data as presented is messed up. As a technical matter the data could be stellar, but as a practical matter if people don't understand the data, it's a failure.
Perception = Reality
My sense is that the PDD release was ok. Maybe I don't remember correctly.
Missling leaves himself wide open for this kind of criticism with how he handles data releases.
I'm ok messing up one time, but not two times. The 2nd time is shame on him.
You can say that all you want, but to this point as reflected in valuation AF is NOT wrong.
He's a total a-hole. No doubt about that. He just rolls in grenades without any analysis. He says the equivalent of "it's all effed up" with nothing behind it.
Missling consistently gives AF ammunition to work with and when he tries to fix things Missling ends up giving him more ammunition to work with.
We'd all be better off by ignoring AF instead of constantly invoking his name - eff him.
If someone has the old corp. decks back 5 years it might be fun to audit the actual results of catalysts compared to what was promised at points in time. I would do it myself, but I don't have them.
My personal guess is less than 50% were achieved in the timing promised. I'm probably being generous in that it's more like 25%.
Indeed. No one is paying 5 times the current market cap for anything. That said, come talk me when AVXL's market cap is at least $1.6 billion. At that point $3.2 billion is at least possible.
Missling sold about a net $1 million (after exercise costs) last year
The CFO sold about $3 million. All that she had vested at the time.
That's the equivalent of going all in with a pocket 10, 2 off suit.
Doyle Brunson won the WS of poker with that hand, but Henry Ji is no Doyle Brunson.
I didn't forget and didn't include in my thinking because from an insolvency perspective it doesn't matter today.
I will say given everything that has gone wrong with this company there is absolutely no reason to expect to win. I know that's a very cynical take, but come on does anyone really think Ji wins this case? Almost no chance.
NOT being a troll....Doesn't at some point Ji - as a fiduciary - have to declare bankruptcy to protect the company's creditors.
In other words he legally can't just keep spending money he doesn't have while at the same time having debt outstanding.
I think the latest judgement coupled with the big drop in SCLX and CELU might have made the balance sheet insolvent.
So, the money he raises by selling those stocks as well as SRNE needs to go to creditors first and everyone else second.
I'm a little surprised the $160 million judgement people didn't force Ji into bankruptcy so they'd have some hope of recovering some of the judgement.
The other thing to wonder about is what is the sales pitch for SRNE stock, how truthful is it, who on earth is buying this junk and how long will they keep buying..
Bottom line, none of this makes any legal or even logical sense except a scenario where Ji takes the last dollar from the company and leaves in a private jet for China with the rest of his personal money.
What an absolute joke.
No questions.
That's a boldface lie.
I had a question so did at least 10 other shareholders I know.
My bet no PDD data until 2023.
Catalyst slide says "expected year end 2022" so no way unless the data's bad and he wants to slip it in under the door between Christmas and New Years.
Also, has Missling met a due date yet?
Long time board homies.
Anyone think Ji gets fired by the shareholders today?
Anyone think Ji or anyone takes questions from shareholders beyond the very specific questions being voted on.
Last year that bastard took no questions because all of them were very critical of him and the team so he hid behind his lawyers saying only questions on the proposals.
That, my friends is chicken$hit
Waiting for choruses of they must know something or they wouldn't have invited Anavex.
Bishop is talking his "book."
He put all his clients in Anavex so he has to defend the company even if it's a shallow defense.
He's screwed and he knows it.
Seems right to me. Another substack from the same guy.
