I want oysters, beers and for PBLS to go over $1 !!! And not in that order. Who's with me? I'm buying ....
Forecast PBLS to be over 5 cents by year end, 25 cents by end 2008, over $1 in 2009. Doesn't 1.85 cents seem like a bargain?
If your cost is 2 cents and you get back 1 cents, is that a 50% return? I'm really good at losing half my money. Even better, I can tell all my friends that I'm getting these great returns. Life is good.
I'm confused on the 500% return math. Does this include dividends? The math on the dividend is equal to 2.4 cents additional over 5 years.
Here's my take:
Example: PBLS is at 2 cents so 100% return would be an additional 2 cents for a total of 4 cents.
If PBLS goes to 6 cents, it's a 200% return.
If PBLS goes to 8 cents, it's a 300% return.
If you include the div, PBLS would be worth 10.4 cents for a whopping 420% return !
Ren, I've been to Sliders lots of times over the past several years. Great oysters! And of course there's Pete's just down the street for pool and cheap drinks. PM me on when you want to meet out there and I'll join you.
Why aren't we up today after the 8 cent preferred offer?
GO JAG-U-ARS !! You live in NC and are a Jags fan? I lived in Jacksonville when they got the NFL expansion nod and have enjoyed watching them ever since. I moved away for a while, but now I'm back in Jax !
Now back to business .... Do you think PBLS will sweeten the pot for the loyal 6 cent preferred share holders by increasing the value to 8 cents?
I'll give you my take on valuation. Let's just use the rock division's revenues of over $1B for each of the next 5 years and not include the $100M+ for all the other divisions. Also, let's use 2.5B for the OS (currently 2B) since 500M will be awarded to the partners eventually. Given that PBLS has no large debts and has good cash flow, I'll value PBLS based on 1X revs (cheap compared to big board stocks). That gives us $1B revs/$2.5B OS = 40 cents. Given the prefered share deal, the OS could be reduced giving us a higher stock value. Valuations based on profits would be better, but we really don't know the forecasted after-tax profits at this time.
If PBLS were on a major exchange, I'd use 3X revs to value it and give it a $1.20+ target.
I hope you're right. PBLS would have to send me a new preferred certificate that reflects the 8 cent conversion rate vice 6 cents. Reason: The preferred cert shows just how many shares you own at $10 per share.
The higher preferred target price is GREAT news. Although I feel as bad as some here that we accepted a lower 6 cent price some months ago, we do have another opportunity to convert shares at even a higher price. So, given I'm always averaging down on my stock buys, I'll gladly average up on my conversion price. And again, I'll keep a large common position and patiently wait for the BIG BUCKS !!
The pot has been sweetened by 33%, not 25%. PBLS really wants our shares and knows that 8 cents is a bargain in 5 years time (I'd guess a lot "sooner" that 5 years). I've turned some in for 6 cents and will turn more in for the 8 cent deal. Of course I'll keep a nice position in common for the long haul.
MMs trying to drag it down to .019

Although the dividends are late (should have been paid within 30 days of the end of the quarter), the dividends will be paid. Why you ask? For nothing else than to attract more shareholders to surrender their shares for the extended offer to 31 October. If they don't pay, no one will surrender shares.
On the PA, CA and RB "buyout" theory, if they have roughly 300M shares in total, the conversion to preferred would leave them with 1.8M preferred shares with a value of $18M. The dividend would be $1,080,000 per year.
#1 on IHUB active postings .... again, do we have ANY float left?
Here's a little math on the share count/float. RB says 1B tighly held (assume mostly insiders). Partners on the hook to buy 1B+ in the future (as per recent PR). 500M to be awarded to the partners as contracts, profits, etc are accomplished. FACT: AS is 2.5B, OS 2 B per Atlas transfer agent.
OK, adding these numbers to find the float = 1B tight + 1B partner buy + 500M partner award = 2.5B. So, where's the float? An even better question, where are our shares accounted for?

I remember someone saying that PA, CA and RB collectively have roughly 300M common shares. I would think those would be restricted and/or at least significantly reduce the float.
Finally, just bought @ .012
I'm trying to buy now at .012, no luck yet ! WTF?
NEWS: OMAHA, Neb. - Someday soon, Warren Buffett may have to apply his legendary stock-picking skills to the candidates clamoring for his endorsement in the 2008 presidential race.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070713/ap_on_el_pr/buffett_s_backing
Here's my prediction of a future PR .....
Paul Alonzo announces bid for Presidency of the United States in 2012 after proving himself by building PBLS from a sub-penny pinkie to a market cap leading S&P company ! Can he pull the same miracle for the U.S.?
All I have to say is that he has my vote if he can get PBLS over the $1 mark. Heck, at $10, I'd vote for him twice !
PBLS continues to build itself into a Warren Buffett-type company with profitable, basic commodities/services and keeps the incumbent management in place. Not a bad model to emulate. Can our share value be far from the $100,000+ of Berkshire Hathaway?
If you can't beat the shorts, MMs, hedge funds, investment bankers, etc, JOIN 'EM! This is a very nice, strategic move for PBLS ... just think, RB and PA can hide all their millions in an offshore bank account now and we'll never know. J/K !
The last statement of the PR is really strange:
Mr. Alonzo added, "Phoenix plans to add other strategic banking and trading assets in the near future allowing our Company to reach out to the world, a world which we believe we have so much to offer."
Why doesn't PBLS hire someone who can write PRs? I think most on this board could do a better job.
Yep, SMF claims to have no interest in the stock. Yeah, right .... he's shorted this stock for years. Why else would he constantly bash the stock? Wait until he has to cover on the next short squeeze. I bet we won't hear from him here on Ihub or RB, but we might hear about him jumping off a bridge.
SMF .. how much $$$ have you made on shorting this stock?

Ren, I believe that PBLS is making some short term decisions that are unpopular due to some great opportunities to buy up profitable companies and grow reveneues/profits long term. I'm as upset as everyone here with the OS expansion, but I visited the company twice over the last 2 months and found that PBLS is in it for the long haul, not to please short term investors. I then made the decision to convert a portion of my shares for the preferred offer to lock in a nice gain on my total investment. I still have a substantial investment in common shares that I will keep in case the price goes much higher in the next 5 years. I suggest anyone with a substantial investment in PBLS visit the company and make their own choice, but do it quickly because time is runing out to get certificates and send them in by 10 August (6 weeks left)
No, I haven't gotten my dividend yet because it's promised 30 days after the quarter ends. This quarter ends on 30 June so it won't be paid out until 30 July. I'm sure we must allow a week for mailing time so I'd expect to see it during the first week of August.
WTF? Bid at .0125 ask at .014???
I'm really disappointed with the 1.75B OS. I'd like to see their plan to reduce the OS to their self-imposed target of no more than 815M. We may even go sub-penny once again. Only the rumored PRs might save a falling knife next week.
I have turned in shares for the preferred deal and may buy more to do it again before Aug 10. I suspect others will be doing the same at least to cover their initial investment and let their "free shares" ride. Still being the optimist, I beleive PBLS has a bright future and will have BIG numbers this year. I've yet to sell any shares over the last 2 years (other thanthe preferred conversion) and am long, really long on PBLS. Well, maybe I will sell some shares "SOON" .... in a few years.
Oh Crap, Darn, Shucks, Crud, F%^&* , Sh$%&!! ... looks like I missed a golden opportunity to pick up some very cheap shares today. Congrats to all who were able to load up.
IMO, PBLS will beat their self-proclaimed estimates, but not by a landslide. PBLS is building a company to make LOTS OF $$$$ in the future. The forecast for future revenues/earnings will be the key to the PR on Friday and investors will react accordingly. And to secure any downside disappointment in the PR, PBLS smartly put in the expiration of the preferred conversion at 10 August. Any weakness in share price due to shareholder "disappointment", over-hype (buy on rumor/sell on the news) or legal/illegal short plays will be limited due to buyers that will gladly scoop up shares for the preferred conversion at 6 cents.
Lex, PUNTANG has a fundamental meaning that is based on a type of South American music called "punta", but with a twist. Or maybe it's not? Anyway, the music I like kind of ties in with our recent sales of Best Jets Lear 25s in Colombia and in this case, it resembles "How do you spell LOVE, "M-O-N-E-Y" by the Fabulous Thunderbirds. GO PBLS, make us some serious $$$ !
AT 3:37PM, 1,000,000 + 400,000 + 653,800 - 3 trades went off at .0335
WOW, 2 mil just went off @ .0335
When are our EVSY div shares from HISC going to be released? It will be interesting to see if there's a massive move out of this stock on that day. Will FM save the stock from collapse?
SMF, where are you? IGTG is finally ready to ROCK !
Yes, the next two weeks will be very interesting awaiting 2006 financials. I really hope to see some 2007 pro forma numbers on all divisions so we can make some projections on market cap. Anyone know if we'll be seeing first quarter 2007 results?
Makita, 2.3M, very nice ! I turned in some of my shares to PBLS for the preferred deal last month and letting the rest ride. Lessons Learned? You should listen to me more often.
When PBLS goes to $1+, I'll let you buy me a few rounds at the TIki Bar ...... in Hawaii !
By the way, sold the house in 4 weeks!
