I particularly liked this part of the PR:
"Companies that receive funding from MJFF have scientifically compelling plans that hold obvious potential to impact our understanding of Parkinson’s and ultimately the development of improved treatments for people with the disease. To that end, we look forward to the results of the ANAVEX 2-73 study.” -
Most Excellent post MoonShine~
Very much appreciate your perspective which covers some of my earlier questions.
I particularly like this statement: "As for branching out to other states, as long as overhead isn't too much that's fine. Otherwise lets keep doing the most business where the highest margins are. "
Yes! Keep those margins as high as possible as well as not increasing the overhead significantly.
Cheers!
ahhh, thanks dug man~
you addressed some of the questions I raised in my last message. I hadn't seen your message before composing mine.
Re: the Cell~
Has there been any deeper more exploratory discussion around the possibility of the cell coming to fruition? I'm fairly new to SLTD and haven't had a chance to dig deeper in the status of the Cell.
And why do you say by 12/16 for the Cell? That's a very long time frame, yes>??
Just to consider the possibility, as there's always the possibility of the opposite. No, I'm not short, am a long as well as swing trading it.
What if the Fresno deal doesn't go through? There's no guarantee, right? We can only speculate and it;s always good to speculate BOTH ways in the interest of Risk Management.
What if the Cell if further delayed or even doesn't come to fruition at all? This is also a possibility just as them finding a partner.
What if the acquisition involves dilution? I know - it was said that that's not the intent, but it's always a possibility.
I'm just addressing the other possibilities.
Now, given acquisition track record, I'd say there's a strong possibility of a win-win scenario happening where shareholders as well as the company benefits in terms of continued growth as part of this overall strategy.
Just food for thought.
Appreciate the discussions here.
Happy Trails!
Is there any way to tell if this run up is related to warrants as well as the recent news?? I assume if there was a way we'd already know it.

Not to be the harbinger of possible bad news, but this kind of erosion in shareprice due to such incompetency seldom ever returns to the glory days
I may be wrong, but I see no reason a class action is going to result from this news.
I hope I'm wrong because I still have some shares.
I do have to say though - it is peculiar to see a director buying shares at $1.20. One insider buy doesn't give us a real message. If we were to see more insider purchases, that might be a silver lining in this dark cloud that's hanging over them.
Good find. Looks like you are correct. This doesn't look good. Are you still planning to hold out, or do you have an exit plan? With so little volume, very few investors with any substantial holdings can sell without negatively impacting the price in a downward direction.
They hired a new PR firm. What a joke! They've done nothing as far as I can tell. Management has proven time and again over the last year that they have no interest in serving their shareholders by being more communicative. Any pop on good news and I'll seriously considering selling.
There is that last minute end of the day bounce. Could very well have found the floor but it's too soon to know for sure. Definitely going to need a good catalyst to get us back into the $2 range
So far, today's volume and bounce up is a good possible portent of a bottom here.
I'm really curious to see where support is going to be. At some point, the street is going to say this is a buy. We have to also remember that shares were used as part of some of these acquisitions and if restrictions have been removed, some of those folks are going to be selling
I do think that there's tax loss selling going on right now. And remember, depending on buying or selling demand demand, the stock price can swing dramatically either way.
I have to say though, I could not have imagined the price getting this low.
In that Zack's report it says there are 158 million shares outstanding and 93% insider ownership. That puts the float at 11 million shares. Needless to say, it doesn't take much to move this SP 5 to 10%. The report is optimistic. I do hope that this analyst is correct. I also think there's a fair degree of panic selling right now. You don't take a loss until you sell.
I Do you like your optimism. If you have a moment, would you mind providing further comment on why you think management will get its act together? Especially given the Wells Fargo issue as well as not being transparent over the last six months with the challenges that they've created and face.
I'm surprised at your valuation going out three years or so. Wow.
Just really curious. Given the management's track record, I'm a bit surprised in your optimism over them working all of this out in a timely manner.
Thanks Jordan for the overview. CRRS, R U LISTENING? Promote our company!! Hire a PR firm!! A BILLION $ company SHOULD HAVE COVERAGE!! Yes, I'M YELLING!
Note also in the PR: "on or before July 9, 2014"!!!
I wonder if that's what accounted for the extra volume shareprice spike today
Continued strength this morning. Still a bullish sign, IMO. I doubt that there has been any impropriety, insiders just have too much to lose. Maybe they just got too far ahead of themselves with their acquisitions. It sure would be nice if there was a little more communication with investors though. But I'm sure that there's not much they can say at this point without revealing the true issues going on.
I have been thinking the same. What with the delay after delay after delay, you think we'd be under $2 a share now. Not only are we not under $2 a share, but there's been strong support around $2.40 by $2.50 and steady accumulation in this range. One would be have to be quite ignorant to be buying shares with such great uncertainty hanging over the compan. Let me repeat that: one would have to be very ignorant to be accumulating shares with such great uncertainty. Since the float is so small and demand is so small, there just might be an argument for management purposely delaying so that insiders can accumulate more shares. Remember not long ago – maybe a month or so – when we had some crazy huge volume day on massive buying on no news? What was that all about? You don't have that kind of volume and buying going on without some kind of insider news driving it. Well, I'm definitely taking the gamble and have been accumulating in the 2.40-2.65 range.
GLTA
I hear that the company is a goner. They basically ran out of money and can't get any new financing. Anyone here still holding????
