So you are bidding on a stock where you have no faith in it succeeding ? That sort of goes against most investment strategies for making money.Perhaps you mean you would like to short it ?
Average trading volume is almost 400k.I believe once contracts and revenue streams show then more eyes will be on this sector and volume will increase significantly.
Well it's allowed me to add more at this level and I plan to add more as funds come available ,I hope it stays in this range a little longer. When significant news comes which I believe is reasonable based on current events ,I will have reaped the benefits of getting in near the bottom : ) There was a good resistance level established with multiple bids above 7cents today.
What does it tell you when the seller is sitting on .075 and will not sell at .074 where there is about 150k waiting to buy.
And Quantum had a film then ? I sense most of these kind of comments coming from long holders of the stock.I understand your impatience but impatience isn't what investing is all about and the market leader decides when ramp up begins.Market is just beginning !
Huh ? From the Torrey Hills mailer I got.
Once again we have attended the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas to get a sense of the current market opportunity for quantum dots and operational status of Quantum Materials Corp.
. Based on what we saw at CES, (both from the flat panel industry at large and from viewing their new film product in person) we expect the next 3 to 6 months to be transformational for QMC going forward as they work towards staking a major claim in this dynamic nanocrystal materials market space.
Please find attached our recent Travel Dispatch in which we discuss our findings/conclusions from visiting this years International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Read the report from Mr.Chase that he wrote which updates CES.It was posted recently here.
Couldn't agree more Jamis .Doc and Spartek just look up the next QD conference ,if there were so many mystery suppliers they would be there ,everyone else is.
Sri looks to be more entrenched with CkearInk and SID ,perhaps his focus wasn't enough on Quantum with his many other positions and part of the reason besides the 14A for his departure.
Doc where are these companiestill mentioned in any of the industry reports ? That is completely wrong good sir. It's very public knowledge who the players are.
Falling behind ? Only Samsung has a cad free commercial products and they are not selling their film to their competitors. The market is wide open for cad free displays and someone will have to supply it.
Nanoco also had a prototype 2 years ago at CES.A prototype means little
without commercial orders coming from it.Again only Nanosys has commercial sales.
There is only one qd company that has a commercial product selling in the market ( Nanosys ) and they are a private company.
Interestingly enough that both Nanoco and QMC have had a tough go with their share prices despite announcing film products demos.
I thought the write up was good and unbiased in reporting on other TV manufacters technologies and where qdot displays stood in the mix of it all.

Thanks Mr.Chase the pictures add a lot to his article.Nice to have an IR guy that really understands the technology.

Was waiting for a link to get the visuals he stated was in the report. If I get that I will post it as well. Thanks
Again, looking at the other cad free competitor their stock price has been quite similar.Mr.Chase said he will have his report out this afternoon and will provide me a link to share.Wouldn't provide any early details.
Again one of Quantums main competitors has had the same run the last two years with a huge amount of funding comparatively. So in your description I guess one can assume they are in the same category then ? I can't understand why people can't understand you need demmand to ramp for sales, that time lag has cost both companies.
As TBC stated ,so has Nanoco.I almost invested in them but their CEO has missed many targets and promise of a Dow relationship turning profits never materialized.Sounds sort of the same discussion here but if I'm looking at where I get more bang for my buck when the inevitable rise comes fir quznrum dit suppliers its why I chose Quantum.
It was discussed adnauseaum already good sir.I have purchased a fair amount in the .07s and if you look at the charts nevermind current status of operations for the company the stock has rebounded off .07 range a couple of times in the recent past.Resistance level of .07 and holding.
And it was the demise of QDVISION.
Agreed. That was my thoughts as well. There was a lot of shareholder discussions about it being the wrong time and the wrong approach.I am happy to know if that's the case that we as shareholders hold some power
Sellers gone ? Thanks for the shares.I called Mr.Chase at Torrey Hills ,said he would be reporting on CES this week and that he will be writing on the QMC film he viewed and the QD displays at CES.He couldn't share more than that and said he will have it out shortly.
And how do we not know that these Chinese businessmen aren't part of that transition ? As a long your thoughts are rightfully heard but from what I am reading from CES quantum dots are hitting it out of the park and the technology has been accepted as reality. There will be many more markets for quantum dots moving forward ,how and when they adopt are all part of the waiting game.
Well those pictures are not photoshopped that is for sure.
May 8, 2016, Quantum Materials (Asia) Co., Ltd. the first session of the Board of Directors work conference held in Beijing. The meeting was presided over by Chairman Liu Xiao. The United States QuantumMaterialsCorp. Company founder, president StephenSquires, Dr. Liu Peng and other directors attended the meeting, some executives attended the meeting.
Looks like a board meeting of the company to me ? Great visuals ,thanks again Jamis !
Yes,we know Hansol supplies Samsung. That's been out there for a long time.
"Analysts are also excited about these products such as the Meritz analyst who projects that tri-foldable 9.6” smartphones would sell for around $1800, which could certainly grow the size of the smartphone market and the growth outlook for smartphone brands."
Well that seems reasonable and what everyone pays for a phone these days ;)
Try pumping enough power through an OLED device to get 1500 nits.OLED is brutal in daylight and if you ever could get it brighter the battery draw would be insane. This I where QD comes inext, brighter ,less power.
Thank you for your predictions.Any hint on the superbowl winner? Id love to get that if you have it.
QD EX your assumption is a valid point made.Business is very much about relationships and why you could make those comments. No one is saying its slam dunk but the tea leaves are there to read.
Times are a changing.A signed agreement with Nitto could easily correlate to an open dialogue with Apple on film supply for their devices. No other cad free producers has cracked that egg yet.As far as a cad free film it's Samsung and.........nobody yet.If anyone says Nanoco I hardly think that from those pictures posted by TBC their "demonstrator" with footstool option is viable quite yet.I'm sensing most of the complaints are from weary investors or share price watchers and not those that understand how the business works.
Waiting for Mr.Chases update which should add some more info to the story at CES.They said he is out of office when I called so I'm guessing he's our man on the street .I'll call on Monday again and post if I hear anything back.Have a good weekend everyone.Market is closed time to relax and recharge.
Wow that's terrible for a presentation centre.Looks like a garage sale.
It's almost all buying today.I dipped in for some more at this price. Thanks Mr.seller !
It's good to see some people are paying attention.I assume we will find out more from Mr.Chase's report from CES.

Love the biomedical applications possible. The qd and superbug video posted was most interesting and is something we need right now.
Thanks for the update.Pretty well what we discussed, looking forwards to his field report.
TBC that is why they call them demonstrator models.I'm sure QMC could also pay for a TV company to embed their film and call it that.Nanoco has it up in a suite for viewing and not on the floor for the public viewing. They need a demo to open discussions with vendors.Still in the camp that Quantums "process" is what wins the dayear.
Samsung directly referenced what they are licensing and cad free tech was not it.No speculation there. If Nanoco had cad free tech for so long where is their cad free offering ?
I'm sure they will be able to trick those they meet at CES when they demonstrate their film.Wow that was pure comedy gold !
