If your theory is correct, the amount would be $3,141,592,653.59 USD.

While laying a large pipe for 30 miles may be easier in the summer, freezing the ground can be done anytime.
Today's 10,701 shares traded on the OTC is the lowest total since the 8100 shares on 12/27/16.

From my records, lowest volume on the OTC since June 8, 2017. On that day 13,800 shares traded.

I don't really follow this, because it's more of an indicator of the past than the future, but good to see every indicator maxed out.

I have no doubt that the people in the area are supportive of the project. I'm curious how much is moral support and how much financial support they have.

I'd also be interested to know if respondents live within 10 miles of the proposed mine site, or 100 miles, or 500 miles, 1000, or 10,000 miles.
Although this doesn't directly address it, I'm curious how many local farmers and business people have learned about the project from word of mouth or local publications and have been quietly accumulating shares.
Big Al
This is the way we do it, except we engineer/design industrial plants, not mines. It does improve efficiency, and the 3D model helps all to "see" what the project will look like which helps to optimize the operations and efficiency of the final project, and to identify and resolve conflicts and issues prior to construction which reduces field rework and cost.

Not without looking at the engineering that's been done to date.
Not a perfect coiled spring, but close.
Very well said:
"This is a BIG project. It will not happen overnight or in one year. However, IMHO, if it happens on schedule and on budget, the stock will do fine. Blow a bunch of smoke now and then fall behind schedule or over budget and it will not be good."

Wow. Great input, Boilermaker. I didn't realize that OPPD had done that much work already. It should help to cut down on the time. I also didn't realize the primary voltage was 171KV. While I have worked on larger transformers, the largest I have purchased were 23KV primary, so I don't have experience with lead time on those transformers, but I would guess that my original estimate is in the ballpark. For general info, transformers of that size are usually shipped with the cooling fins and bushings removed to make it small enough to go down the highway, and then assembled and filled with oil on the site. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
I also don't want anyone to think I am talking the project down so to speak. I am very optimistic (as can be seen by the number of shares I have purchased), but I also don't want investors to think that if we get financing in Jan. 2018 that the dewatering will be complete in Jan. 2019, and then get frustrated, sell their shares, and drive the share price down when the dewatering isn't complete by then. I want us to have a realistic expectation so that we understand the importance of patience as the project progresses.
Big Al
That's possible, but on the optimistic side.
I recall once several years ago getting a quote for a 13,800:480V 750 KVA padmount transformer at 52 weeks. When I enquired about the long lead time I was told that the wind farms were buying them as fast as they could make them and they had a substantial backlog. It depends on market conditions at the time.
Big Al
Agreed. Let's focus on Niocorp and facts rather than stoking our own egos.
Why would you ask Boilermaker1 questions when according to your post #31961:
"And ps I have spoken at length with Mark A Smith on our cell phones about this and many other things !!
And I have spoken in person with Scott Honan face to face one on one !!
So give it a rest dude !! I may know more about this than you !!! "

And the electrical transformers to step down the voltage to the pumps are not off the shelf items. They don't start building them until they have an order. Then there is engineering/design time and creating approval drawings which have to be approved by the customer before they start building the transformers. Depending on backlog at the manufacturer, the electrical transformer delivery to the site can be 6-9 months after the order is placed. Of course other activities will happen concurrently, but my point is that I expect just getting the infrastructure in place to start dewatering will take months. I also am an engineer and am not new to construction sites.

What I remember agrees with Boilermaker1 in post #31935: that the ore body is open at depth and to the NW and SE. This is not "ALL DIRECTIONS!!" as you stated. Not saying it's not good, because it is, but let's stick to the facts and not overhype and mislead.
My guess is that more drilling and assessment will be in the 2021 - 2022 timeframe, which is after the mine is in production and has income from operations.

Also, since I'm sure some are curious, I've been buying for a few years and remain long. I have yet to sell a single share. That being said, I call them like I see them, and prefer accurate info with no "spin".

It's Big Al. I guess this is a case where caps and spaces are your friend.

I have two questions. The first is directed at TO double D, since you are posting the statistics. The second is directed to the board at large (in jest):
1) What constitutes a "read"? If I view 10 posts, 5 times each, is that counted as 1 read, 10 reads, or 50 reads?
2) Do we need to call Nurse Ratchet?
What I remember being said awhile back, is that this project was not big enough for Warren Buffett (or Buffet for those who have been around awhile with a good memory.
Also, will be interesting to see what happens Thursday, but I don't expect anything earth-shattering then.
I would suggest looking at the price on Friday 3/4/16 and Monday 3/7/16, and recall the old saying "All gaps must be filled". I have been wanting to add more shares, and my order has been waiting patiently for almost two months. I'm guessing we will bottom in the low 0.60s USD and then turn north again. JMHO.
