Been following this since last fall without a position, and I must say, it is quite funny. The thing I am wondering about is... where is the dang 501k for the pump? It doesn't take that long for a 501k to be reviewed and approved, unless it wasn't.
Now this says... 100% Acrylic latex... so no polyurethane? I'm not quite knowledgable with the terms or how the compositions differ.. hopefully someone with knowledge can chime in. May not be it.

Download the info from here. They are in PDF's. It says revised with dates of this past February and March on the sheets.
This line in the linked PR stood out the most: "Valspar, the nation's most widely distributed paint brand, has completed a multi-year reformulation initiative that's yielded a comprehensive line of high-performing, zero-VOC products." Multi-year? Re-formulation?
Also, they say "breathe easier" in that PR. Didn't someone say IF's coating you can't smell at all? I know, two totally different products, but same concept.
I'm not saying this is it, just presenting this PR as an idea to toss around. But the timing is quite interesting.
Support? Oh the support is still here... Want me to clean out the 12's and 13's for you?
If they file an extension this week, it should then be released in 15 days, or immediately after the American Coatings Show. How convenient.
Doesn't it feel as if Industrial Finishes is sorta like that somewhat popular friend you know, introducing you to the even more popular individuals... and getting you into the "cool" crowd? If you catch my analogy.
Haha... The R/S notice flushed out the last weak hands. This is officially locked solid more than ever now. Maybe the management is smarter than we think. I really wouldn't bid sit, no one is selling now.
This analysis is fairly accurate, but *ONLY* if HCTI fails to release names or an F500 association before, on, or immediately after the R/S. That is what this all is riding on. Do I think big news is imminent? Yes. Why? Think back how vague the first Industrial Finishes PR was... mentioned some distribution agreement yada yada. 3 months later.. We got a name of a real legit and respected company. F500 execution was beginning of February. Tack on 3 months. Beginning of May. I also can't stop but remembering how PPG said in their conference call they have new things coming "on shelves" in spring. Can't remember exact phrasing. (Last conference call). Good luck.
Sooo blatantly obvious. The signed F500/future investors said clean up your SS before we announce/commit our associations. And I'm pretty sure the insiders just loaded their holdings to the brim with this weakling dump. Watch those form 4 starting raining down now. They're aren't dumb. Good things ahead. Feel bad for those who sold. And for those freaking about their unrealized red PL, give it a week.
lol, a R/S filing and people run that easy? I mean, aren't you even curious what's behind door number 1 in a couple months? IF revenues, etc at the very least? Crazy. Anyways, we'll be back 20+ in a week.
I check in on the board here once in awhile, but really we're just in a holding pattern until April. I'll start DD'ing again after something hits the fan... lol.
Hey UBS, what about that downgrade? Lol... Clueless analysts. http://www.bidnessetc.com/64754-freeportmcmoran-inc-fcx-downgraded-at-ubs/
Did this company fall off the face of the earth or something?
Didn't watch L2 today... did BKRT move down and spit some out, or do some longs abandon ship?
You get a C+ for effort.
Why hasn't the 8k shown up on iHub here yet? Is it because the SEC is in on the scam, along with the EPA and IF? ;) lol.
Do you hear that? It's the faint rumbling of thunder of an massive, unprecedented storm that's going to arrive soon. That's what that 8k is...
http://www.woodshopnews.com/tools-machines/tools-a-machines-archives/505145-coatings-manufacturers-hear-changes-in-the-air Sorry if already posted... *Edit: this wasn't meant as a reply, just a general post.
"the Dutch Boy Paints brand is currently a subsidiary of the Consumer Group division of the Sherwin-Williams Company, which acquired it in 1980."
Trust me... the F500 will be shouting their new ZERO isocyanate product from the rooftops when it comes time for marketing (just like IF is starting to do), and you'll know where it came from... It's their move now. Keep your eyes open.
Italy? This reminded me of a Polymate partner I couldn't quite figure out: https://www.aihitdata.com/company/00A3ED8F/POLYMATE/history ... L'Arca. Can't find much, but there is a fashion manufacturer in Italy named L'Arca... http://m.paginegialle.it/info/cagliari-ca/bigiotterie/arca-fashion ...Not sure if this is the same L'Arca as the Polymate partner, maybe, maybe not. Wonder what they manufacture and for whom, or who this L'Arca is..
well.. then maybe just to give them a hug after my retirement when HCTI goes to 25 cents.. lol..
This is not too far from me... I'm seriously considering going. haha..
Give it a little bit... this thing is going to scream..
Thoughts on why VNDM jumped on top of ask? It just doesn't feel like this is dilution. I know I've seen BKRT bidding and scooping up shares in the past weeks (can't remember if VNDM was bidding as well). Maybe they just decided to unload some for profit with this run (and freak the weak in the process). Even as VNDM was on top of ask, BKRT was still bidding and even moved up a few times I saw, which is a good sign. Either way, not concerned, just curious. Dumb MM's. This will be past a penny soon.
There's no news... If there was, I'd be posting it a minute after it came out... Have scanners running on the newswires for keywords. lol.
Solid find...!!! Nice to inject a little excitement here. I was falling asleep. lol. Can't wait for the news.
Tomorrow is Thursday ya know... hmm...
This isn't the same company from 2015 and earlier... This is like comparing your income in college, to your income after you graduated college with an in-demand degree, new career, and sign-on bonus. HCTI's diploma was the EPA award. lol.
Nice find. A lot have been focusing (obsessing, waiting) on the F500 deal(s) (me myself included I admit), but let's take a moment to recognize the Industrial Finishes agreement is enormous and pivotal. Should be at a penny already on this alone, but it probably won't be fully realized until we see some revenue on the books imo. Looking forward to next week.
So how long is a F500 deal supposed to take then? A few weeks? A month? All the product reformulation candidates, all the partner/third-party testings and weathering studies on the re-formulated product, followed by all the pricing negotiations, lawyers, and logistics of production, distribution, and integration.... can be completed in how long? Surely the F500 must have dropped everything they were doing and focused solely on HCTI, right? I'm surprised it got done within a year. And it probably didn't really get serious until after the EPA award...
Also, I've never seen both the bid and ask sides so massively stacked together... looks like an epic war is about to begin. lol.
**Update** nevermind, check out that massive slap... Did someone take NITE out?
Boring imo... makes me like PPG more. Just seems like PPG has a whole lot more going for them.. By the way, I didn't know SW purchased a portion of Comex (the US and Canada I believe?). .. learn something new everyday.
WE ARE THE FUTURE!!!
Happy news day? Maybe? Hopefully?
