Leafs by Snoop has been released. Orer #15997x
15611x for morning of October 17
No kidding. Almost makes me want to forget em again and check back in another year lol. Looks like lots of fun times ahead.
Haha. I'll try lol. Certainly been a while. Put my stash of CGC shares away and went into hiatus for a year. Quite the chart to come back to:)
Bedrocan order 3959x
They went beyond the CDSA and insinuated an intent to use Vanessa’s Law (Bill C-17 which passed in November 2014) which is found in the FDA. The penalty is up to $5M per day in fines and 2 years in prison. The dispensaries will most likely not be allowed to continue to operate outside of the Food and Drugs Act. .
Federal government is prepared shut down dispensaries. The Globe and Mail
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/british-columbia/ottawa-orders-pot-dispensaries-to-close-threatens-to-send-in-the-mounties/article26315676/
I'm sure they have diversified. Probably invested in legal system...
Haha. Must admit... I Wish they would allow all forms of concentrate production (live resin) from LP's before they shut them down;) lol...
Or just regulate the darn store fronts already!
This could be a huge game changer for the dispensaries. $5M fine and 2 years in jail. Risk to reward being limited. http://blog.liftcannabis.ca/2015/09/09/some-dispensaries-given-30-days-to-stop-all-activities-with-controlled-substances/
Hahaha. No doubt. I don't have the balls. lol. Although I have contemplated hiring someone. Jokes.
I was thinking something similar the other day… lol. What if one was to take things into their own hands. As a young adult I started my career as a loss prevention officer and arrested hundreds of shoplifters. I was remembering the section that allowed me to make those arrests… Bet that would grab a headline or two…
Canadian criminal code:
494. (1) Any one may arrest without warrant
(a) a person whom he finds committing an indictable offence; or
(b) a person who, on reasonable grounds, he believes
(i) has committed a criminal offence, and
(ii) is escaping from and freshly pursued by persons who have lawful authority to arrest that person.
Haha. When you put it that way I almost don't blame them for trying... Except I also spend another $600 on cannabis as part of my regimen.
No doubt... There is a generic version for about a fifth the cost, but it doesn't seem to work nearly as well. Fortunately it makes for a nice little tax write off at the end of the year...
Why didn’t I think of that? Man you’re smrt! I feel like an idiot now… I guess they will provide me a home insurance policy while my home is on fire too? How about auto insurance after I have an accident. Maybe I should just cancel all my current insurance policies and just get them when I need them in the future. Can’t believe I didn’t think of this before… Thanks Annoyingsound! Why would anyone pay premiums when you can just get the policy after an incident occurs?
You sure like to spew misinformation! If you budgeted your time better and used the time you spent trolling this board at a job you could afford it... As an added bonus you would actually be contributing to society.
I’m not an employee and don’t have health benefits. I spend $750 a month on one prescription. You know what the pharmacist would say if I told him I can’t afford it? He’d say too bad… This stuff really works! You also might want to do your research before you spew misinformation. In some provinces, including your home province of Ontario, only chemotherapy given in hospital is covered by the provincial health plans.
You have no idea what you're talking about.
I don't care what the THC is if it burns dirty. So much more to quality than THC. Also, many people prefer different levels of thc for different times of day...
Ignorance!
Got to review some of the new Tweed strains. They keep on impressing... Posted them on Twitter...
https://twitter.com/TheStockOmen
New number to speculate with… According to business lawyer and advisor to MMPR industry participants & investors, Trina Fraser, the average authorization under MMPR is 4 grams per day. With just 3,000 patients that would be equivalent to 12,000 grams per day or $84,000 per day revenue at $7 per gram if 100% of authorization was filled. Interesting...
As opposed to LP purchases, a CC purchase isn’t a tax write off, so screw all civilian patients as well. Screw all the patients who buy from LP’s. How dare they stay within the confines of the law, purchase the safest mj in the world, and take advantage of their benefits without supporting organized crime.
I have a plastic grinder/holder from Aurora. Got it at 420 last year. Long before they got their cultivation license...
Is that from the same garden you had an aphid infestation? lmao...
Indeed! We will find middle ground soon enough. I think Conroy and Tousaw have been envisioning this since the MMPR rolled out.
Interesting to see that Mr. Tousaw (the MMAR lawyer from the SCC case) will be appearing in the second part of the web series that is sponsored by Tweed.

Couldn't agree more!
Great first post! Even better name...
What does a 150 gram carry limit have to do with 5 grams per day? There is not a 5 gram per day limit. You should have stayed in school...
You may want to read the definition of the word “fact” as you are clearly mistaken. You can have any amount per day as prescribed by a physician under the MMPR. Example: You can have 10 gram per day allowance and order up to 150 grams every 15 days which = 10 grams per day or 300 grams per month. Let me give you an example of a fact, seeing that you don’t understand the definition of a fact:
1) Factual Statement: 5 grams per day limit is a myth!
2) Proof of Statement: Quoted from HC Website, “The amount of dried marijuana you can possess is the lesser of thirty times the daily amount stipulated by your healthcare practitioner or 150 grams. For example, if your healthcare practitioner recommends 3 grams per day, you would be allowed a maximum of 90 grams at any one time (30 days X 3 grams). However, if your healthcare practitioner recommends 6 grams per day, you would be allowed to possess a maximum of 150 grams at any one time, which would therefore be less than a 30-day supply.”
3) Source of Proof of Statement: http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/marihuana/access-acceder-eng.php
Now you can thank me for teaching you something about the system and what your lawyers are actually fighting for. They are fighting for the or 150 gram at one time possession limit. This is so one can travel across the country for more than 2 weeks if they have a 10 gram a day exemption. Or more than 7 days if they have a 20 gram per day exemption.
Clearly you don’t even understand the facts or the possible outcomes of the legal remedies even if they are in your own favor. I suggest you stick to growing plants and stay away from law…
? You said you are answering me then told me to listen to another part of the trial that didn’t have anything to do with my point??? I will answer it for you seeing that you are missing the point and not answering the question… She said she doesn’t want to smoke CC obtained cannabis as she had an issue with product with pesticides that caused a lung infection.
You also completely ignored what I just pointed out about Conroy’s vision for cannabis. He basically says at 23:00:00 that even if they win (this interview was done just after the trial), that LP’s are in the position to meet the same regulatory requirements that natural health products and pharmaceuticals need to meet as well as the additional regulations due to non-medical applications being a controlled substance. Conroy believes dispensaries should exist and will be supplied by and/or wholly owned by LP’s who meet the regulations.
As far as the SCC case, the restrictions on extracts are not in place by either the MMAR or the MMPR, but are in the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA). The remedy he is looking for is a read in of an exemption from the CDSA for those who are licensed under the MMAR or MMPR. He is not looking to strike down the MMPR. What will happen is a natural dominos type legal effect where the exemption would remove medical cannabis as well as medical cannabis extracts and derivatives from the CDSA placing it by default/operation of law into the natural health foods regulations which governs the production and sale of medicinal plant based substances. Due to the international legal obligations we also would have additional restrictions similar to the ones in place by the MMPR. These would be governed by the natural health foods regulators.
The natural remedy would be to grant this exemption to the CDSA and allow for an amendment of the current regulatory scheme (MMPR). Tousaw says "the commercial marketing, the commercial production, the commercial sale remain regulated behaviour and the government can continue to govern the commercial aspects of this endeavour."
The best case scenario you will see is the remedy outlined by Conroy and Tousaw where in both cases it would allow for people like yourself to continue growing or produce your own extracts in personal amounts; however, similar to what we heard from Conroy, all commercial operations including dispensaries would be supplied by or wholly owned by LP’s.
FYI: There isn’t a 5 gram a day limit in the MMPR as you mistakenly referred to. For someone who is so opposed to the MMPR I’m surprised you haven’t read it…
Hey Bob,
I try to ignore you as you never try to rebut my comments and spew misleading/misunderstood nonsense, but I couldn't resist pointing something out. Did you know the legal team fighting on your behalf sees a very big place being filled by LP's?
You are delusional and ignore the facts, but I want to hear your response to these 2 comments/questions…
1) Below is a link to the full extract trial. Want to tell us what your lawyer Mr. Tousaw says at 1:56:50 as to why his client doesn’t want to smoke MMAR cannabis? What is this about pesticide laden product and lung infections? http://www.scc-csc.gc.ca/case-dossier/info/webcastview-webdiffusionvue-eng.aspx?cas=36059&urlen=http%3A%2F%2Fwww4.insinc.com%2Fibc%2Fmp%2Fmd%2Fopen_protected%2Fc%2F486%2F1938%2F201503200500wv150en%2C001&urlfr=http%3A%2F%2Fwww4.insinc.com%2Fibc%2Fmp%2Fmd%2Fopen_protected%2Fc%2F486%2F1940%2F201503200500wv150en%2C001&date=2015-03-20
2) Below is a link to an interview with your other lawyer, Mr. Conroy. At 23:00:00, Jason Wilcox (One of the most prominent activists at the forefront of the cannabis movement) asks him: “Do you see a future, because this is what I see, of the MMPR (LP’s) being party to any legalization platform as a supplier to Canada?” Want to tell us what Conroy says about the LP’s being the commercial suppliers to Canada and having wholly owned dispensaries? And what’s this about the recreational model?
np:)
Wrong! You are clearly mistaking the Calyxes for balls. Do some research on this plant you love so much would ya! What does it matter that you buy from a storefront when you don't even know what you're looking at... lmao
Some pics I took of a small sample of the latest batch of Yorkshire. Quite impressed with the product coming from Tweed.

I thought you considered yourself a connoisseur? How can you compare that (Jamaican strain?) to Sour Diesel? Jamaican is an over produced strain with big yields and can be found on any street corner. Probably burns black lol. Further, this was some of the cleanest product I’ve seen in a long time (I grew up in Victoria with hippies/true connoisseurs for parents so I know what I’m talking about). Also, just like 90% of their other strains, this product is not irradiated.
Hahaha. No doubt... Maybe they thought the trichomes is mould lol.
It was quite impressive. Burned nicely with a pure white ash. Beautiful clean green taste. Was obviously thoroughly flushed and grown under strict standards...
Had an opportunity to sample the latest High Lands. Took a pic and put it on my twitter feed...
Up close look at a small sample of High Lands produced by @TweedInc So clean and so delicious... #Long $TWD pic.twitter.com/Ww5SkvRDLo

It is still much cheaper in Canada than America. Celebrex for example can be $85.99 in the states, but it is $44.76 in Canada. A dosage of Tamoxifen is $340.77 in America, but only $39.19 in Canada.
Should I even waste my time with responding to such foolishness?
I assume you are speaking of employees, as most self employed don't have benefits. You may also be surprised as to the actual number of employee's who have coverage...
Almost half of Canadians (42 per cent in 2000) are not covered by work place drug plans. Part-time workers and young people are less likely to have drug coverage and smaller work places may find it too expensive to get a drug plan because insurance companies charge a much higher administrative fee to cover small numbers of workers. Some workers who don’t have their own drug plan are covered by their spouse’s plan, but many have no drug insurance.
I am in Canada! I live in Edmonton and health care doesn't cover prescriptions. I would need additional insurance.
Zofran is just over $28. I am self employed without insurance and it costs $28 per pill.
