Did anyone really expect anything other than this? Have they ever done anything the way other folks do?
ctb
A leases value is determined by what it produces or the leases around it produces. The truth is and I have stated this before, but some just can't grasp it. Just because there is oil in an area does not mean anyone will get rich. The area amep is working are considerd marginal at best. I mean most companies would not consider messing with them. Small companies will take a chance with oil and gas prices such as they are but that could end without notice or lower to the point that it just won't be cost effective. This company is one that will hang on and if and when things slide it will be gone overnight and your investment will vanish just like that. That's my last word on this board until it slides into the bogg.
ctb
The leases were acquired at outrageous costs to the Investors. Why don't you guys keep this in perspective. Either you have know absolutely nothing, or you are trying to fleese those who are not informed. How in the world can some of you folks sleep at night? When your head is on the chopping block you can try to talk your way out but no one will listen.
You have to wonder where they could come up with that much cash to loan. This gets deeper every day.

We will see shortly. You have your beliefs basing it on your perceptions, I have mine based on my experiences. Time will tell, but this is something very few understand in this industry. There are many more factors in a successful oil and gas company that simply can not be explained to a novice investor, or even an experienced market investor. It many times translates into what will be success and failure. Many factors do not show up on charts or graphs but are the key to success and failure. My beliefs are based upon the things that most have nor will ever know of.
What's sad is
I don't see the share price moving much regardless of what happens on the 17th. History is the teacher here.
What bothers me is
When I sold out most here referred to me as loser or basher. And any attempt on my part to post an explanation was deleted. Now look at where you are. If the poweres that be delete all the losers now there would not be a thread. I think it goes to show that an open forum might not be wanted by the gestapo, but it is the best for all concerned.
Until folks understand
IMHO people do not realize what is going on period. Would you spend thousands to hire someone to build a home without checking out the builder? No That's what folks have done here. You have invested in a man, not an oil company. Pure and simple. How successful of a oil man has he been. Question how successful was he before the first bust a few years ago? Did he make it through successfully? Did he, or did he and his brother resort to just getting by doing whatever they could to get by. Was he a good credit risk in his community or was he a libility? You will be surprised. Check it out. Lastly is he just one of those that are in and out in an out. Check it out. Come on folks find out why som many have gotten of this in the last couple of years. check it out

Slippery Wing
Twenty or thirty year lease with renewal option I could understand. We're talking a lease over 100 years. I think not.
Interesting
Tuesday night I had a rep. from a company wanting to lease my land for a wind farm. Offered right at $4500 a turbine for a year but wanted to lock me in to very long lease which I refused. Over the lifetime of the lease it would amount to over $300,000 but just didn't seem the thing to do. Has anyone here signed any contracts for wind energy that would be willing to talk to me about it. I know some states like Texas and up north have had farms for a few years now, but this is relatively new here in Okla. It's not the same as oil and gas leases and I am having trouble finding info. I did go to Winergy for info. that helped. eom
Slippery wing
That is exactly right. I have wells that are considered mediocre that $300,000 in a month or two. These folks just don't understand that it takes a lot of production on a regular basis to make an oil company. And it has to keep expanding every year with more leases and more drilling. They seem to think here if there is oil there is wealth, and that is not so. They also are caught up in the potential mentality. That's a problem of a couple of longs here that I thought understood the industry, but I was sadly mistaken. They are just typical penny players that not only will learn the hard way, but will influence others. Too bad. I wish I could give amep one of my wells at least they would have something to post about. eom
What's sad is
That most posts here now and I guess in the past are a result of greed, or just desperation on the part of some to save their bottoms on this thing. No revenues to speak of and then all of a sudden there is some promissing sales. All of a sudden just before the vote there is a secret formula that can not be verified and now the pumper longs who have been so quiet while this has been going into the toilet have jumped in to enlighten us to how great this will be. And all the while anyone who suggested there might be some problems down the road were bombarded with slime and trash. Well, see where this is now and who was actually seeing through the murky waters.
Looks like
We are back to a secret formula. But no one can talk about it. Seems like I heard that before a few years back. The sp did go up some so maybe they think everyone will fall for it again. Yehh
Actually
I was exagerating somewhat. This will never be a going concern.
Same old
Wow what an increase. Another 1000 percent increase and they might be getting close to paying their salaries. It's one thing to get oil and gas, it's quite another to acturally be a profitable concern. That is the difference here.
konalm
Not everyone. ctb ridiculed me when I began selling a 4 and finally dropped this down to 3 cents. He didn't realize I had been in this for almost 3 years and was holding a lot of cheap shares. Should have sold much more at 12 cents. Oh Well
Like I said, it is better to make a little than lose it all. ctb are you listening? You sure told me. I wish I had waited and sold for under 2 cents like you.
jsc52033
I don't know what your b ackground is, but let me tell you this. If CB goes, then this will go under much quicker than it would otherwise. That's a fact sir. This is not a typical company or oil company. It is a mom and pop deal. You folks do not understand sec., contracts it is all of no consequence here.
Oh yes they can
Check out Mooney aircraft. It happened there. Everyone holding shares lost almost everything. You folks have let your greed for fast bucks take your money down the tubes. The fact is in the oil fields if you drill wells, and rework existing wells and don't show a profit or at least some profit you are in deep trouble. In fact this has been a lost cause for some time. Get over it, and get out. Something is better than nothing. You are letting the longs sell off and dissapear while you are left holding the bag. How smart is that? eom
Why in the world
didn't you get out. You seem to be intelligent. You and I were in about in the same shape, but after much digging I jumped out. Good luck. Sometimes it is better to take a little loss rather than lose it all. By the way you might have noticed how the controler longs have stopped omitting many posts. It is because they see the writing on the wall, and can see that down the road they might be in trouble with the sec. as things keep going south here. What a shame.
Some of you
Are determined to ride this to the ground. How many of you have seen this over and over again in the pennies?
Do you actually believe
anyone will take you seriously?
Was looking over posts from a couple of years ago. I fail to see how some here could have the nerve to post after all the hype that is beyond comprehension. I am now certain that many so called longs have been selling for several weeks now just to get out of this as they see what the final result is going to be. A little at a time to keep it from crashing. Hey when I got out I said so and dropped this thing several cents in three days. I guess I should have followed the example of the pumpers who are still trying to keep this dog alive.
I am here to turn the lights off after everyone else has gone.
There are
two sides to every story. Only those that have something to hide are afraid to explore every avenue of truth. The truth is never afraid of the light, the lies and deceptions of the workd always hide from the truth.

Do you have any idea how many successful wells it would take to make this profitable for the number of investors in this? I think not. It's one thing to trade shares in a so-called oil company, it's another to trade in a company that is a going concern. The fact remains, the only thing traded here is paper. There have been no revenues to cheer about or for that matter to cover CBs and the other workers salaries for the past year. I repeat they have not brought in enough revenue to cover the salaries. Does that register with you. And you actually believe that they will all of a sudden be so successful to provide a profit with 500,000,000 shares out. And don't preach about the rs. It don't matter. This one is toast.
Many learned
a hard lesson that will be with them the rest of their lives. Don't invest unless you understand the industry. It's one thing to work on a rig, another to understand the economics of it. The old lesson is you have to know when to hold them and when to swallow your pride and fold them. Too many treated this like they never heard of the otc. eom
I have a question
For all you oil patch people who have the gift of picking excellant oil penny stocks. If the R/S fails, how will they continue drilling? Where will revenue come from. The selling of shares is the only funding they have had. They can't get money at the banks. The R/S fails, and this company is over, and you have played right into CBs and the private investors hands. What a bunch of dummies. I have no doubt this post will be removed soon.
s
What I think is not facts
The cold hard facts will rear its ugly head when the votes are counted. History shows the majority of rs votes are cast for. It's that simple. You can believe what you want to about posters stating what they are going to do. I will accept what folks have done in similiar situations. Do you know Nelderand anymore than you know me? Probably not. That's my point.
I do not want to rain on your parade
But there are at least 500,000,000 shares out. You have accounted for what 47,000,000. Most investors are not involved with the boards, or even read them. Facts show that most investors will vote for the split as they feel that if they don't they will lose their investment. Soooooo this is going to pass, and in the end this company is going private and if you are still in it you will lose everything. It is my experience that if you don't get out now it's all over. You may disagree, but check it out. Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying that all companies that rs go private, but this one will, and I think you all realize it. Now, what happens if there are actually more shares floating around out there than are supposed to be isssued? Here again the cards could be stacked against you. eom
Not everyone is in
that area. In fact very few major companies are. In fact it is considered to be unlikely to be cost effective. Now you boys are about to get a little lesson in oil and gas cycles. What happens next? Prices fall as supplies have stablized and the hurricane jitters have waned and now the lesson comes. The mom and pop begin to leave as it simply won't pay to operate marginal wells, let alone wells like CB has been pushing. Could be CB has already seen the writing on the wall. eom
I'm going to
Mineral Wells at the next share holders meeting just to see if you guys are for real. This should be on incredidble stories. Put a face to a name. eom
I truly believe
That most of the longs really believed in this as I have talked with them over the last 3 years and know where they live. I just think they got caught up in the this is the big one, and lost sight of reality. eom
jibauer
Very nice reply.
I bet you have a very good religious background, it shows. Well you seem like such a nice guy, and you handle stress very well. Have a nice day and I wish you the best. It's just money but sometimes it better to take a little loss rather than lose it all. God Bless
Pathetic is
Trying to unload a stock on someone else when it is going down the tubes just to get out with something. Just sell and get out.
Some jokers
Think they can sit in their comfortable chairs at home and just look through the want adds and find responsible people to run a mom and pop oil company that most would not touch just like that. You people amaze me. Vote this vote that it doesn't make a difference. This one is gone either way. That's why I fled and encouraged you to do the same. Do you have any idea how much amep would have to bring in just to get interest for investors let along provide a payback for the shares already out. No way Follks. The payback on these wells might take care of CB and family and a few of the private investors and I am betting that is what CB wants. If it is , there is very little you can do about it. Check out Moony Aircraft the same thing happened there and I was part of it. This ones over and if you get stuck with any thing it will be worthless. That's a fact and you can just wait and see. eom
I'm saying
That unless they have made some spectacular discovery (and that's a joke) they are lucky if they can get marginal wells at best. And from what I know that is stretching it a bit. The truth is that the wells they are working with would not be producers for most or be considered worth while to invest in. I'm not saying they can't get oil or gas, it's just not going to make anyone rich. It will allow the Bitters to sell some oil and gas and receive the lease royalty as well as get
paid to do so. This is by far not your ordianry situation. Why do you think there is so much confusion. If this is such a great deal why not go to the bank for financing? If you believe banks don't loan to oil companies then there's not much point of me saying more. If you have much tied up in this and you don't check it out all I can say is ---------------------------. eom
Fam
Thank you
My point exactly. If your a flipper this is an ideal penny stock. Mother nature and emotion will work for you. As far as a solid investment for future growth even the longs know that is a lost dream. I also sold at a profit a couple of times before this thing went south and then unloaded what I had left for a little gain. I was looking for more of an investment. Not a paper trader for a few cents profit.
The best thing to do
is to get out. The only reason this ever moved was Katrina, and hopes it was legit. It's just the old penny stock game, and paper is all that will ever be sold here as far as investors are concerned. This will never make enough oil or gas to make the stock move let alone provide a profitable company. This is where it should have been all along, and it will only get worse. The only ones that are staying are the typical penny investors that either flip, or simply don't know what is going on and they will end up holding the bag. Pity. Use your brains. What about all the promises of ramped up production. New wells coming on each month. Well spacings every 40 ft. Millions of dollars a month in oil and gas. Fact is after all that no one has any idea what's going on. Are there actually new wells producing? Wake up it's all smoke and a few pumpers are skinning you alive. eom
I've alluded to this before,
But if you want a shocker that even the longs don't know, check out what CB and his brother did before they started this thing. Then you will all run for the hills. Folks in mineral wells can tell you. eom
Goodness folks
This is penny land. AMEP is part of it. Most investors in these types of stocks realize when it is time to throw in the towel and get out and start looking again. You are all talking like this is enron or something. This could very well be funnier than OKOK, any remember that one. Same deal just different faces. When you put your faith in what people on a board say and invest on that then you are in trouble from the start. That's what this is all about. It's not about CB or the directors, it's about greed. Your all a part of it. You let your greed overcome your common sence, and let a few mainly on this board lead you to believe you had something that at best would be considerd by most in the oil industry as poor risk at best. eom
