"you can check out anytime you like but you can never leave" ...welcome to Hotel California.
Certainly better now than at 72 cents a share........of course that's if you are a believer in the company being legit.
Tax Loss......If you are a believer now is the time to buy????????
"The Final Judgment barred Carraway for a period of five years from serving as an officer or director of any issuer that has a class of securities registered pursuant to Section 12 of the Exchange Act or that is required to file reports pursuant to Section 15(d) of the Exchange Act."
Thanks, 'loanranger', I was looking for that.
1)GRNO is a non reporting pink sheet. Bill Carraway's role in the company would not be effected.
2)When you, your family and friends control the majority of stock in a non reporting company like this all the rules are different.
3)If we don't see some news before tax loss selling kicks in next month we are going to see the sub pennies again.
All my opinion of course!
"We do know that tens of millions of shares disappeared from the CEO (sold, transferred?), and tens of millions appeared with Ramos and Ramos, who then paid over $100k to promote the stock."
I prefer to look at this Ramos transaction as similiar to an IPO. Margiotta was just trying to raise cash for his investment. Ramos selling should have been anticipated. The bright side is that Margiotta still has quite a few shares invested.
"Lastly, GRNO suggested it was close to having back financial reports posted several times over the past year or so and have yet to make any progress."
If Sharon Mitchell says they are working on the filings, I believe her.
At 3 cents I am a buyer.
Sharon Mitchell is for real and I don't think she would risk her reputation on Peter Margiotta if he was not. This could easily be a ten bagger once the financials are filed.
As usual my opinion!
There was no merger, there was no recent 15c211. The stock has never stopped trading since 1997. The Carraway group of insiders sold their stock to Margiotti. That's it, Margiotti is in charge now, and we are all patiently waiting to see the financials that were promissed months and months ago.
Hawk, this is a direct quotation from my attorney after doing his own do diligence:
"Although there was no bankruptcy filing for Green Oasis, I have uncovered something that is damaging. In 2002, Green Oasis Environmental, Inc received loans from a number of parties, including Balallan Limited. Balallan Limited filed suit in 2006 to recover money and interest on the loan in excess of $1m and seek a declaratory judgment that Balallan is the owner of the US and European patent rights of Green Oasis. An order was entered on April 1, 2008 against Green Oasis, ordering payment of over $1m and transfer of IP rights not already acquired by Balallan Limited to Balallan Limited. This order was transferred to Florida in 2008, before the July 10, 2009 acquisition by Global Enviro Solutions, whereby Global Enviro Solutions effectively succeeded to a $1m liability. I don’t think Global Enviro Solutions would have entered into the merger had they known of the judgment. I expect Global Enviro Solutions has heard from Balallan Limited."
If you would care to read the 94 page lawsuit I have it in a pdf file and would be happy to send via email.
Hawk, I have no doubt that what Bill did was wrong. Call it fraud, call it what you want, he is judgement proof. Was what he did criminal?
At this point in time the only satisfaction one could get is to put his ass back in jail.
"Since the judgement is against 3 different parties, GRNO the corporation, G.O.E. enterprises (whatever that is.. the LLP?), and William Carraway, how exactly does the judgement get divided up?"
I believe any of the three parties that has any assets will be responsible for the entire judgement. The problem is you can't get blood out of a stone. At this point Carraway has done a good job of hiding his assets and is judgement proof. GRNO and G.O.E. enterprises appear to have no visible assets either. If there were a seven figure bank account lying around you could be sure Ballallin would have seized it by now.
As far as getting the judgement set aside I think it would be very difficult if Carraway did indeed get the money. If I recall there was an 80 page document filed by Balallin detailing the loan agreement. I don't have the time to look for it now.
All my opinion of course.
If I remember correctly there were two $500,000 tranches spelled out in the Balallin court documents. This would have been 2002 to 2003. Both were secured by US and European patents. Bill tried to weasel the European patents out of them by assigning them to a different corporation. But that's another story in itself. The reason I found the Ballalin loan odd is that it was the same time frame that I was buying stock from the company to supposedly keep the lights on. If he had secured a $1M loan in that time frame he would not have needed my chump change. In my opinion he got the $1M but it went south.
The more I think about Carraway the more pissed off I get, the more pissed off I get the more I think he needs to do more jail time!
Interesting connection, Patricia Meding and Charlie McLaughlin. I always wondered how Bill Carraway got $1M from a big time New York investment company. Now I would love to know what Bill Carraway did with the money. I guess it was part of his exit strategy, he must of stashed the money before he went to jail.
All this of course is irrevellent to the present day GRNO. Updated financials/ filings would clear up a lot of things and put some distance between today's GRNO and the Carraway years.
All my opinion of course.

Ms Mitchell has been retained to work on the filings. She has been out of town for the last two months due to a loss in the family from what I am told. To straighten out this mess is going to take some time. I don't think even Margiotti anticipated the time and recources necessary to bring the company up to date. After hearing from Ms Mitchel I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and a little more time. At least we know Ms Mitchel is real and is working on it. If nothing happens by the end of the year I will probably be back on the scam theory.
My opinion of course.
"someone is certainly confident in this stock with the periodic high spikes in volume"
I respectfully disagree 'sidestyle', for every buyer there is a seller. I believe the $.04 stock price better predicts the level of confidence of the market in this stock.
Hopefully this will change soon with some updated filings.
Regards
Thanks Charles for taking the time to make that phone call.
I value your opinion.
It is hard to imagine that an attorney would be so forth coming with you if she were involved with the scam.
Now go take the rest of the weekend off.
Good find 'Ferick", This was from their 2/07/2011 news release:
"Finally, to help the company satisfy the requirements set forth by the SEC to remain a public company, we have engaged the services of Sharon D. Mitchell, Attorney at Law, to guide us in those procedures GRNO needs to follow that are necessary to keep a public company current and compliant with the SEC."
I wonder how Sharron was compensated for her help or if she even knows that she was working for Mr Margiotti.
Someone's got some splainin to do !!!!
"Either the folks running GRNO were conned or are con men...... Either way the stock is pretty much hooped. It will cost them an arm and a leg to get up to date with filings and if they do not they risk be suspended and revoked. All though that scenario could be the plan possibly."
Very good point, couldn't have said it better!! Maybe GRNO's business is selling stock? Did you ever think of that possibility?
We need some legitimate financials, and we need them now or this ship has sunk! No more smoke and mirrors!!
Thankyou both for clerifying that. It really doesn't matter, Q's or K's, they need Carraway to cooperate and from my experience he is not a cooperating kind of guy.
Of course the financials should have been a part of the change of control of the shell and/or resulting stock purchase from Carraway to Margiotti.
Has anyone talked to IR about Carraway's cooperation in generating and certifying these financials?
Have a good day all?
'loanranger', could you give me a reference for your statement:
"I've been through it before, but don't remember where I ended up regarding the quarterlies. They absolutely AREN'T required for every year since 1997."
I hope you are correct and I would like to verify this. Because if we have to go back to 1997 to complete the financials we will need Carraway's cooperation and that could be the holdup. I would imagine Peter Margiotti can't certify financials for the years before he took control.
Any help ??
I have a couple of letters from Bill when he was residing at Taft. After he was released he disapeared from the face of the Earth, or at least he tried. It is hard to hide from the internet, presently he is living in the mountains of NC.
I don't think Bill, MaryAnn or any of the insiders are involved with GRNO any more. They all had an unexpected windfall in 2009 when Aldo and Peter approached them to buy their worthless stock.
I believe that this company is all Peter Margiotti at this time. It is up to him to produce the financials and he is having a tough time coming up with them. It's crunch time and Peter knows it.
Show us the financials!!
All my opinion of course!!
Thanks 'big..dog', old data sounds like a good explanation. I too noticed the age of Mary Ann and knowing that Bill Carraway is closer to 70 I thought it a little suspect. I also checked the sunbiz.org site and found no mention of Mary Ann. It is amazing how ones mind will wander once the trust is gone, isn't it ?? I apologize for any inconvenience to all.
I legitimate set of financials would cure a lot of mistrust.
Have a great weekend all !
Good morning Paula, can you or anyone else verify or deny these GRNO board of directors members are accurate.
http://www.reuters.com/finance/stocks/companyOfficers?symbol=GRNO.PK&WTmodLOC=C4-Officers-5
It seems a little suspicious that Mary Ann Carraway and Larry King are still on the board of directors?
Thanks much !!
Did you search under SCAM ???
"Well, as I follow the board I noticed that the main if not only stigma attached to this stock is an old group that is no longer in the stock."
Good morning BITI, I respectfully disgree with you, the stigma attached to this stock is the fact that they refuse to release any financials after repeatedly promissing them again and again. Their PR pumps are less believable than ever and without some reporting they are doomed to the sub pennies as the old GRNO. If they are having a problem of retieving the records of past years I can understand but don't keep blowing smoke. All my opinion of course.
Happy Fourth to all!!
That was true until he sold his stock in GRNO. What do you think 8,000,000 shares of stock was sold for? Even at a nickel thats $400,000. I am sure the money never went in his name but I think to stay out of jail he might be able to find a few dollars of it? I have recently found out that there is no statute of limitations in the state of South Carolina for the crime he committed and resulting fraud.
Trying to get the name of a good lawyer is like pulling teeth. You know what I mean Luke?
To all the GRNO oldtimers out there, I need a favor. I have decided to persue a matter between myself and Bill Carraway and I need an Attorney in South Carolina. Preferably, to save time, someone who has prior experience with GRNO and Carraway. I was reminded of a Robert Hood, Hood Law Firm, and was wondering if there were any other suggestions before I commit.
Thanks for any help, my e-mail is: rkiefhaber@aol.com
'Ferick' wrote: "Now, let me leave you with these departing words from April 14, 1997: As a fellow shareholder, my concluding thoughts are these:
Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. is growing ever stronger as a company, as an operating business and as an investment.... We thank you for your trust and confidence in the executive management of your Company.
Sincerely,
William D. Carraway
President and CEO "
Thanks Ferick for reminding me. Bill Carraway turned out to be one of the worst S.O.B.'s that I have done business with in my lifetime. He should have spent 18 years in jail instead of 18 months. If I could do anything to put him back in jail I would.
That being said I believe that he was an amature compared to the group of people running this game now. Unless we see some financials soon this will start to look more and more like a stock selling scam. All my opinion of course and I hope I am wrong.
Thanks 'Makinchange' for sharing that visit with us. I am always anxious to hear about anyones interaction with the company. Good or bad.
Can you tell me what your relationship is with the company that you would be meeting with Mr Margiotti? Did it have to do with the stock you are converting? You can tell me I promise I won't tell anyone. Honest!
Thanks, and have a good weekend all.
"If this time around can actually process waste oil/slop oil, it still might have a $50/share value but if it does, I'll be long dead and gone before it happens."
Not a chance 'Ferick', If you live to be 100 this stock will never see $50/share. Back in the old days we had about 8M shares outstanding and now we have ten times that and climbing. The plant would have to spit out gold nuggets to support a market cap of $5 Billion. However, if the company is not a stock selling scam and they produce audited financials with a prospect of growth I would believe $5 is possible in a few good years. The key word here beeing 'IF'. As my dad used to say: 'if your aunt had balls she would be your uncle'. I think this pertains here.
All my opinion of course!
'Makinchange', thanks for sharing your stock purchase and I agree that this is no place to discuss your personal business with Peter.
I am sure you did some research before you bought the preferred and you seem to have a relationship with Peter. Could you tell me why I should believe that GRNO is legit and not just a stock selling scam. Quite frankly with the paid pump and dumps and the lack of financials I am expecting a trading halt any day now.
It just doesn't pass the smell test yet.
All my opinion of course.
Thanks again.
RK
May I ask why you own restricted shares!
Were they a form of compensation from the company? Or possibly a payment for an old liability?
Do you have a relationship with the company?
Thanks
This is a 'pinksheets company', they don't have to report anything!! Buyer beware !!!
In all fairness I can see why the financials are taking so long....It is hard to get your financials audited when you pull the numbers out of your ass... All my opinion of course!!!
'ptl67' I agree 100%!!
I've got some land in the everglades I would like to talk to you about when you get a chance.
Come on, 'ptl67', wake up smell the roses this is looking more and more like a stock selling scam every day.
All my personal opinion of course.
Regards
*** Pumpers pushing GRNO ***
I guess pumpers are cheaper than accountants.
A current set of audited financials would send this stock to the moon!
Where is the f'in financials 'styleside' ?????
Is Margiotti a fraud or not ???
"Well this is indeed the time of the year for GRNO to start executing on all cylinders . Best to the longs who share Peter's thoughts on this being a banner year...sea"
I would be much happier sharing his financials!!
Good morning Paula, what a difference a little PR makes.
Gotta go, I am busy peeling my old GRNO certificates off of the bathroom wall.
....."Michel J. St. Pierre - B.ED., LL.B - Legal Consultant In-House"
It is important to note that Michel is no longer a practicing attorney, retired or for whatever reason he is a consultant only at this point.
Good news release, with $300,000 a month revenue coming from one facility Balallan should be a minor bump in the long road going forward.
I don't know about you 'bigoledog', but I feel much better now.
Lookout Balallan we're gonna get you next!!!
