I've noticed a pattern in pre-market that doesn't always translate to the open market. Not just with AAL but with other symbols as well. It's purely intuitive but it seems like most of my stocks that trade higher in pre-market drop when the market opens and rarely recover to pre-market highs.
It sure does. Just take a look at the postings. A grand total of ONE person is driving this group. Folks be careful. What kills me is that this symbol came to me via a person who should know better.
Anybody watching this one, be very careful. It has all the classic ingredients of a pump and dump.
Do you have links to those stories? I can't find any ratings for this company.
Well if there is such a wait, the bottle should be priced higher.
Checked my local big liquor retailer today, Total Wine. Jefferson's Ocean is unavailable. I will be contacting the distributor, Southern Wine & Spirits on Monday. I did pick up bottle of Jefferson's that I'm sipping now. Quite good. The manager told me that SWS is discontinuing the Jefferson's Rye. I'll ask about that too when I speak to SWS.
I know that. I was replying to another message. I'm long on ROX with a small position. I think they are going places. Not enough bottles to get to a DEO PPS but they should do well.
The best marketing is surely NOT word of mouth. I hope that is not the strategy of Castle Brands.
Well heck, a Seeking Alpha article must mean that everything is great with ROX! Please. I'm not bashing ROX. I think it is a great buy. I'm merely saying that they need some marketing help. A SA article means nothing to me or most other savvy investors. We all know what SA is about. I've only been in this game for about a year. I was able to suss out SA within a few weeks of doing stock research.
I've been in and out of NVIV for awhile. Frank's work was the reason I got in initially. Frank's BS was the reason I got out. The Board put together a decent team and I got back in. I don't see Frank returning to the Board as a good thing for NVIV and I see a lot of people selling if he is elected to the Board.
Sorry Frank. You screwed up. You need to find another landing pad. I'm pretty sure the Board and Frank read this stuff.
Come this 3/17, I don't anticipate a lot of people bellying up and asking for a Castle Brand Irish Whiskey. Some may but most will ask for a Jameson or a Bushmill. That's a fact. I'm not knocking the Castle Brands, they have a worthy lineup in their whiskeys and the salty rum. Call it whatever you want Max, it's a niche market. I don't see the salty bourbon ever being a mainstream liquor. That's not to say it won't make Castle or Castle's investors some money. It may. The liquor biz is both difficult and fickle.
The liquor biz requires boots on the street to promote products. Many mediocre brands have become popular not because they are any better than their competitors but because they have better marketing. A perfect example is the vodka market. Goose and Ketel and Absolut and all the other so-called premium vodkas are no better than most of the other bottles on the shelf. It comes down to what celebrity will drink your stuff. It's a reality of vodka.
The market for a niche bourbon like the salty Jefferson's is different. The folks at Castle need to figure a strategy to get the bottles off the shelves. There is a lot of competition in the specialty bourbon market and convincing drinkers to switch is difficult.
With that said, I will probably go out to my local liquor retailer in the next few days and pick up a bottle of the salty Jefferson's. Sounds like it is a good swig.
For a premium liquor, it should have a screen printed bottle, not a stick on label. Just MHO. Although the premium bourbon market is different than say premium vodka, it's still important to have a nice package. This is a niche product for sure. Putting it in a package that may appeal to some that would not ordinarily pick up a bottle of this bourbon would help sales.
I'm thinking maybe Captain Phillips might be a good spokesperson.
"Still, it opens a new hub market every 18-24 months." A year and half to two years per unit? What the heck takes so long?
So they raised, at minimum, $105 million in the IPO and they are only planning on 40 units in the next year? Sounds a little lackluster to me. That's less than 1 store per state in the US.
At current revenue, this is a $15 PPS stock. That's my entry point. It's getting closer.
$80 for a 750 is a little spendy for me. My favorite beer is cold and free! Maybe I'll grab a bottle though just for the sake of research. I would like to see a more interesting package instead of a stick on label. That's an important aspect of marketing in the liquor biz.

FMCC closed higher than FNMA. WTH is that all about?
FMCC was higher than FNMA at one point. I think it was 3.44 to 3.31.
Parker understands that labor isn't necessarily a bad word around the management table. Nice to see he wants to work with those who do the work for the company.

I hope for two things. GE manufactures these products here in the US and that they use Sigma technology.
Do these warrants show up on the public market?
Have you seen Diageo's brands? With only a dozen bottles in their stable, no way ROX approaches DEO unless they add a few dozen strong brands. But I do like the way you're thinking!
With that in mind, ROX may be a takeover target. Given current financials, anybody want to surmise on a PPS on a buyout?
You are kidding right?

Interesting. Can the current Board make recommendations for shareholders? Is this something that is good or bad?
So here's a couple questions. Are the various MMs one single person sitting at a screen looking at the orders or is it a group of people within one clearinghouse?
Do the MMs talk to each other? It's probably illegal but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Great explanation. Thanks.
Agreed. I like the brand. Way overpriced though.
Even on this news, PBPB is still down today. If it goes to $16 or below, you buy my first 1000 shares? LOL
Got my alert set at $16.
Been watching this one for awhile and I agree with the assessment. However, what makes anybody believe that commons will be preserved if XIDE emerges from BK?
Got it. Thanks.
The problem is not necessarily with the deleted posts. The problem is with the moderator deleting posts and then violating the exact TOUs for which he claims posts were deleted. It doesn't make any sense. SMH
So I commented on a post on one of the stock forums. In my opinion, it was a valid reply. The moderator deleted the post and the reply. He then posted multiple messages bashing the original post. The problem is, nobody can see what the OP was because he deleted it! When I asked why the OP and replies were deleted, he said that discussions involving why posts were deleted were a violation of the TOS and any posts not specifically discussing the particular stock symbol would be deleted. I looked back at his history of posts. There are many that are not on-topic.
Hmmmm....SMH
I'm not sure about the CRE technology. I poked around a little last night looking at it. Seems viable if it can be developed.
The noise from the video is from the propeller mounted on the output shaft.
I'm a fan of the CPST technology. What I don't understand is if this is such a revolutionary process, why have we not seen a lot of development? Is the CPST management team incapable of developing the product?
It's two more plus the optional right?
True dat. I'm not sweating anything really.
Nothing on TD yet.
