Thank you for all your digging! I happened across this ticker and was about to start my DD, but thanks to you I think I'll pass! You have good posts....believe I will follow you other sam! The guy either has a major ego problem or this is a scam. Which in case would mean it was both. I see no real reason to jump aboard the boat and then worry about sinking every day because 1 captain is pretending to be the 1st mate, swabby, & cabin boy!
Thats a great post Mr S. My regards to your wife. Maybe a commercial with "everyday people" is the best way to go. I was really just laughing at how Wilford Brimley talks and thinking of the snl skits :) & if I dont start dropping the sweet tea and candy bars, I'll proably have to become a customer of harma Techs as well. Everything is sugar nowadays....even diet soda's make your body treat it as sugar so thats not an exceptable alternative either.
Wilford Brimley has diabetes
and eats his "Quaker"oatmeal and hopefully will test his blood sugar using Genstrips! I was actually thinking of Brimley while reading ur post and then I saw you had the same idea. Good one! Hmmmmm celebrity diabetes.... Paula Deen needs money! & honestly, white people made a bigger deal out of her than african americans. Pharma Tech's Genstrip, presented by Paula Deen, because we all bleed red!
Totally agree! Long and strong is the way to be on this one. Great opportunity for new investors. I got scared earlier today and now I hate this spamming! But, for any newbies, this is a great price to get in long at. IF it falls below .60 it will hit support in the .50s The lawsuit alone, once settlement is announced, will bring the right kinfd of attention and shareholders to the table.
Nov 6th is the next ruling. It most likely will be in DECN's favor and we're looking forward to a settlement. There's a lot more but I dont have the time to type it all right now! Sorry. It is a really good company to invest in.
I agree! I did a lot of reading, research, and well....work! to find this stock! That was hard earned....nothing wrong with a quick buck!
I figured some are upset. I just fed the monkey over on decn board. I wanna see where this goes and I've got the faith we can still come out on top. Good luck homey!
Jns n Jns admits they dont have patent on their testing strips in a court recording. If you guys really wanna get ppl to buy. Go back thru the past 300 posts or so and find it. Repost it and see what happens. Im sorry to all long DECN members that hate whats going on. Im feeding the monkey just because I know this company will still come out on top in the long run! We will have a decent market share in a billion dollar market. Revenues will come in and we can all reminisce about, "Remember when..." haha
GLTA!
Where you be talkin bout cdnboy? I noticed our most faithful mod on decn board is eerily quiet and not deleting as many posts as usual.
"Selling products at walmart is bad! Zero net gain! This company is going under" BS ....I really dont care for that guy. I wld just go into my removed posts and have to re-word it so he never had an actual reason for deletion. Im guessing that getting picked up by a pump machine is what he wanted. Did you notice almost all of those new posters have the "compensated awareness post" tab.
DECN board lit up like a xmas tree today! Apparently hit on some radars due to the chart, price change, etc etc. Check out the madness for yourself if you so choose to.
Yes I believe this is my 1st experience with one of these while holding a long position! & to anyone actually reading ALL these? This is a great company with a great product, new business, and on the winning side of a legal battle with dinosaur johns n johns.
Maybe it was because of all the news about johns n johns being spread around and someone picked up on this ticker as well? Oh, well I always wear my seatbelt!!!!
I know the long term value could be huge but it is so very intriguing to wonder what the buyout price would be. I think I might could scrape by on $24/share.....maybe ;)

It should be noted that DECN is now able to freely sell its Genstrip product. A diabetes blood glucose strip that works with JnJ's Lifescan Ultra meter. JnJ tried to sue DECN and basically the tables were turned, flipped over, and will soon be kicked at JnJ.
IMO Buyout talks will start soon. The case has a new NOV 6th date added in which fees and restitution (my words mind you) will be paid by JnJ. If you dont believe me, start searching the web, California court case files, anywhere and you would probably speculate the same. The sales of the Genstrips is our fall back crutch or our mighty whomping stick depending on how you view it. Thanks and GLTA!!
A court may stay a proceeding for a number of reasons. One common reason is that another action is under way that may affect the case or the rights of the parties in the case. For instance, assume that a defendant faces lawsuits from the same plaintiffs in two separate cases involving closely related facts. One case is filed in federal court, and the other case is filed in state court. In this situation one of the courts may issue a stay in deference to the other court. The stay enables the defendant to concentrate on one case at a time.
Time to sit down and talk turkey is what it means! Lol
6 months ago I risked $20 on a scratch off and won $500,000 taxes paid. Paid off all debts and now I want to find a way to make what money I have left last. Of coarse I have other accounts but the Ameritrade account is my "play" account. Always been sort of poor so even though its a small amount....it's a lot to me. Got to find a way to secure my kids future ya know :)
I agree! Informative board! I "followed" you here from the DECN message board. I'm now doing some DD on CSTO. Looks good so far! I like when boards have good intelligent discussions about the pro's and con's of a company. Obviously it's risky. It's literally a LIFE or DEATH business! Lol but I thank you for bringing it to my attention.
& to the moderator of this board.... thank you! ;) I believe you have another follower. Keep doing what your doing and I'l try to help when and if I can.
GLTA!
There is an actual ruling tomorrow! The case is scheduled for 2pm in Califonia so we may not get to see what happens till Thursday since the market will be closed by that time in NY. I was just reviewing one of the other lawsuits DECN has against JnJ for Contempt of Court which will also be settled tomorrow....here's the conclusion to that.....
CONCLUSION
For the reasons stated above, the Court GRANTS defendants? motion and ORDERS
LifeScan to show cause why it should not be held in contempt for violating the Protective Order.
The parties shall address appropriate remedies in their briefing on the order to show cause.
LifeScan shall file its opening brief by September 11, 2013. Defendants shall respond on
September 25, 2013, and include the evidentiary basis for any monetary remedies sought--the
5 Defendants expressly stressed their fears about producing the distributor information to
LifeScan. Defense counsel told one of LifeScan?s attorneys over the telephone that “Defendants
were very concerned that Lifescan would misuse the purchaser orders and invoices, including to
contact and bully Defendants? customers. I warned [counsel for LifeScan] against misusing the
documents in a manner inconsistent with the protective order.” See Shaeffer Decl. ¶ 4. This
unheeded warning reinforces the Court?s view that LifeScan?s failure to protect the information or
to seek a modification of the Protective Order was unreasonable.
Case3:11-cv-04494-WHO Document336 Filed08/28/13 Page10 of 1111
United States District Court
Northern District of California
Court will not restrict LifeScan?s access to confidential material, dissolve the preliminary
injunction, nor terminate the lawsuit. LifeScan may file a Reply by October 9, 2013. The Court
will determine whether a hearing is necessary after the briefing is complete.
JnJ used clasified court documents and told retailers not to sell Genstrips because of the possible patent infringement...BUT DECN had already won a "stay" to sell its product but the retailers (including Walmart) did not pick them back up. JnJ should have to pay for damages done by acting like they are the king of the castle or Mr. Monopoly or w/e analogy you like best ;)
I like to follow the smarter folks who have posted on the DECN message board. They are a breath of fresh air in this otherwise rat infested website! Haha

Par value stock has no relation to market value and, as a concept, is somewhat archaic. The par value of a share of stock is the value stated in the corporate charter below which shares of that class cannot be sold upon initial offering; the issuing company promises not to issue further shares below par value, so investors can be confident that no one else will receive a more favorable issue price. Thus, par value is the nominal value of a security which is determined by the issuing company to be its minimum price. This was far more important in unregulated equity markets than in the regulated markets that exist today. The par value of stock remains unchanged in a bonus stock issue but it changes in a stock split.
From wiki
Thank you Fufat for the information!
For anyone new on here today, go back and browse through the last 200 or so posts. You will get the picture of this company and the kind of people interested in it. We aren't scammers even if one of us may be a lawyer ;) DECN is going to win a court case against dinosaur giant Johnson n Johnson. The Genstrip test strip is 50 % cheaper than JnJ's version and is AS effective or MORE effective. They have a lawsuit against JnJ for claiming their strips were superior that is yet to be ruled upon. Yes, there is a chance of a buyout that would probably be more than where the share price is now. Hopefully though, the company will grow to meet demands and take a share of the diabetes diagnostic market (multi Bio) and we can really be glad that we are "invested in", not "married to" this company.
*editor's picks* on SA top 10! Yes, it is a good article. I went to SA's homepage and saw it move up into the #4-6 position on the current top 10. Exciting & c'mon.... who roots for Goliath? Honestly! Ha! but yes, I'm interested to see what even just this small news from SA may bring. New friends surely! :)
"Does pps remain static until next important legal hurdle or do people sell(?)" OK, so Mr S's post was a great analysis of the recent buyers of this stock. IMO he is correct. At first I had thought about selling after news of the court decision gets big attention. I got in at .19 so I'm looking pretty there. I'm holding past the court date though because I believe this company has a legitimate shot at taking a percentage of the $10 billion a year market share. They are a very small co in comparison to JnJ. They created a product that sells at 50% the price of JnJ's comparible product AND is compatible with the device owned by JnJ. When people shop for testing strips and find one 50% cheaper and has also proven in trials to be as accurate or more with test results, who will they buy? Some will stick with tried and true, but if this gets national attention? Maybe someone with deep pockets for an advertising campaign skyrockets the Genstrip into the market. Understand when I say "skyrocket", I mean that maybe they could get 2-4% or 200 to 700 mio in sales. Thats on the low end and completely just off the top of my head. I'm not trying to pump this. Just trying to paint an accurate picture. Also to note again: This product is tailor made for Obamacare and medicaid competitive bidding. Bayer recently tried to sell its blood glucose monitoring division due to the cuts it would recieve in profitability. DECN wasn't expexting to recieve that high of a profit margin. Whatever the end result of the court cases, I dont see how they will end up NOT in our favor. Wherever this company goes after that? It def won't go bankrupt or fall into the category of being "just another penny stock". If I'm made a fool by all of my beliefs here, I'll humbly apologize and kick myself in the balls worse than anyone's scorn on here could possibly imagine! x(
GLTA!

Allow me ;) On Oct.9, the the decision will be made if J&J will have to pay damage to DECN. ($ 12.5 Mio Bond question)
For the pending Patent Dispute decision there is no date but this could come out of the blue. Based on the 4 Panel USTPO ruling in favor of DECN I think everything has changed.
-Lerium
There is also the matter of the "False advertising" allegations against JnJ by DECN which has been substantiated, but court dates, updates, etc are unavailable last I checked.
I agree. There was no sharp decrease in price as shares sold. Dinding support within the .60-.64 range. This special situation has created enough interest where no oe wants to just get rid of it for nothing. We knew this would happen and when it pushes up towards $1.00 I see some people over selling. I may sell some at that point to cover my very small investment cost and leave the rest to float......or not and hold it long and strong since I do believe in this company!
What I dont believe in is having my posts deleted when I cant seem to find proper reasons for such action. I didn't name names, only made a generalized observation of how once the stock went up .60 points, all these ppl with tacky profile names started posting. Well, I consider tacky. I didnt bash them though
Production cost of a thin lil tiny test strip is not very much, lol
It's usually the R&D behind it that brings cost. JnJ has had complete control for so long they thought they could sue for patent infringement when it turns out they didnt even have a patent on their strips! Go back and read through these comments. Find the one with audio from the courtroom. You will hear JnJ's lawyer admitting they dont have a patent on that. Genstrip is a different design and was tailor made to be cheap and be profitable through the medicaid program. We are waiting of news of the court case before anyone can say for sure what this stock will be worth. Even then it won't be an accurate measurement as PharmaTech (DECN) will hit on the national radar, stores will fill shelves, customers will buy. This is not "just a penny stock". I find it funny how the posts on here have changed to people with crazy "money-MAK-r!" names after the stock shot up. Claiming its a PnD and that they are "Done" with this stock when it was their first time even on here. Trying to keep negative comments on top of the list much? Me thinks so.
We made a decent profit. Haven't bought back in. It was a little tough to sell. Volume will go up because it deals with gold though. Any threat of some type of "meltdown" and all of a sudden everybody wants in on gold..... Hmmmmmm, maybe should jump back in to this!
I've bought in again at .635 I've let my 4 vetrinarian friends know to pick it up. I gotta say Giovanni, I listened to this song this morning while getting ready for work! We will rock you too of coarse.... I just cant wait until, Toniiiight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time! I'll feel aliiiiiiiiiiive! & DECN will have turned my portfolio inside out in such a good way! Well, I also was in NOK before the buyout. I suggest ppl buy that as well with the recent Upgrade to Outperform among all the upgrades lately. Nokia is investment grade IMO.
Thank you Mr S! It was more around the 25:45 min mark thats a good point to start from ;) 26:58 is the golden words.... & thank you so much for posting. I may not always post but I follow. & you guy's comments are so much more informative than other boards' posters. DECN for the WIN...N! The test strip's main difference to the J&J version is that it is the way the meter reads the design of the genstrip. It's a "method of use" patent. DECN has this one in the bag. Great investment opportunity imo
Why DECN is a good buy to hold....
Hello, I am a relatively very small investor. I only own 500 shares in DECN "the company". Why I am taking the time to explain my position is simple. Anyone looking to invest in this company should see that compared to low priced penny stocks, DECN is an actual viable company with good things coming in its future. The article in Forbes today solidifies that there actually is a real court case in which DECN will win over the giant J&J. Upon further researching the court case, DECN will win quite a large some in monetary value for missed sales opportunities and other reasons, mainly that J&J was being a huge prick and the courts stood up for the little guy. These Genstrips are legit and marketed at half the price of J&J's alternative. Looking at their yearly price chart, DECN has performed modestly with no huge spikes then low dips that trail on and on till the next huge spike as with many of the others. In other words, they seem steady. Add that to the fact that there is all this good news and exposure being made VERY publicly, and it looks as if we have a viable "winner" with DECN. Who would take the time to bash DECN and turn people away? Walmart means exposure. Exposure generates buzz. I like a good buzz.... All I ask is that people consider holding onto their shares a little longer before dumping anything massive. Lets give this underdog a shot! And who knows, maybe J&J will gobble them up. I wouldn't complain too much about that either. Thanks
Ameritrade. Relatively new player to the market, have made about $500 in past month since I've started. Would love to get in on this! Hopefully ban gets lifted soon! Im not looking to change brokerages anytime soon but what would it hurt to open another account with etrade? Thanks for your replies!
DTC chill? Why is there one on this ticker? Everything seems legit enough. I went to save my order for Monday and received the message about the chill.
My brother...altho drunk at the moment....is telling me this is a great buy! Lol He works for a family of veterinarians and they all said to buy it as well! After some DD, Im going to match about half of what he invested. Go for gold! Even if "gold" is down in the market...
