Sir your triglyceride level is excellent and together
With your hdl there is nothing to worry about assuming triglyceride
level stays at that level upon multiple testing...
No sweat. Thanks for checking it out.
How would the AA of each of the
11 nations in Reduce It behave when 4 grams
Of EPA are taken orally?
Similar to the Japanese?
Given that their
Basal level of fish consumption of the 11 nations
Are so low, and 4 grams of EPA is given instead
of 1.8 grams what about the AA part?
As always all the best.
Thanks for bothering to check it out.
It is is a treat to come across a person of your caliber.
Sir , Whalatane, alias Akanz.
I believe his hdl was 32. Yes it is low. This is one
of your fundamental errors because you do not understand the
Basics. Here it goes :
1. Science has proven through Outcome study that
by increasing hdl, MACE does not decrease.
2. Low hdl is not causal to MACE. It just happens that
Whenever triglyceride is high, generally the hdl is low as in
the case of Tim Russert. Sometimes the triglyceride is high and
Sometimes it is low. That is why Reduce-IT did not impose a condition
on level of hdl.
3. If you read literature you will come across the following. The low hdl
is just like hba1c. When hba1c is high it just means that blood glucose
Has been high for the past 3 months. Similarly whenever the hdl
Is low it just means that the triglyceride level over the past few months
Has been high.
4. Go back and check you will see heart attacks occur with low or high hdl when triglyceride level is high.
Plaque Rupture has nothing to do with low or high. Many surgeons have seen inflame intima, the innermost
level of the coronary arteries.
Remember you do not have to believe me since
I am 14 years old.
Good night to you.
Poor fellow:
Please allow me to show you a
totally different point of view:
1. This concept is based on studies
in Denmark. They are so advanced in cardiology
that they started non-fasting lipid tests in 2009. They
believe this reflects reality.
2. Remnant cholesterol is related to triglyceride by
r2 = o.96.
3. According to them both remnant cholesterol
and ldl cause ischemia but only remnant cholesterol
Has an inflammatory component. They have used elegant
Genetics randomization study to prove that.
4. Statins Reduce ldl but the main mechanism is not through
Reduction of inflammation.
5. EPA main mechanism of action is through reduction
of inflammation. Recently, Cantos outcome study proved
that MACE is effectively decreased by reduction of inflammation. rrr was 15%.
6 Other independent studies have proven through different modalities that EPA cause both plaque
regression and plaque stability.
7. For triglyceride between 200 to 500 mg/dL, Lovaza was not approved by FDA
To decrease the triglyceride level because Lovaza had dha, which increases ldl.
That makes Vascepa exciting because it does not have any dha and is pure EPA. Therefore, it decreases
Triglyceride level without increasing ldl.
8. Your argument about epa and dha mixture is totally irrelevant regarding
the Reduce-IT study because it uses 4 gram of Vascepa , which is pure EPA.
9. If you read literature you will see that many patients have optimized ldl controlled by statins but still
Have very high triglyceride level and end up geting heart attacks. They usually have one heart attack and die instantaneously. Basically the remnant cholesterol from the high triglyceride level forms the plaque , which gets ruptured.
10.I know many of these cases some in their forties, fifties etc. A high profile one is that of Tim Russert, 58 year old , from NBC. His ldl was 67 and triglyceride was 300. On autopsy they found out he had a plaque rupture. He
died at work with just one fatal heart attack.
11. The Reduce-IT study is unique since no outcome study has been
done to date that specifically target high risks patients with high triglyceride between 200- to 500
Mg/dL while they are on optimized statins. So all your arguments are pure nonsense since only the results of
Reduce-IT can answer the question whether on optimized statin 4 grams of pure EPA can cause reduction of inflammation, plaque regression that shows statistical significance in MACE reduction.
Again why did you lose your time writing all that crap? Who are you targeting?
What is your rationale Jason?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks. Good finding.
Dear G550driver:
You did it for 35 years because endorphin kept you
on a natural high. It is not necessarily about moderation
but rather about doing the right thing and have a fundamental understanding how our body work.
For example walking people
Live longer than running people. Do a search ...
You also need to eat the right food at the right time.
For example you would think that doctors and nurses
Have the right information. Then you walk around and you see most of them are
Obese and unhealthy . What is missing there?
Please stop worrying about things
you have no control
Over. Thanks
Thanks. We want EPA/AA relationship to cardiovascular outcomes other than in Japanese.
We know how Epa competes with dha etc.
Thanks again.
Do you think we know how AA/EPA work
In the 11 countries?
To Chas or anyone:
According to Dr Budoff the relationship of AA/EPA
and cardiovascular Outcomes is not clear. We are talking
at the international level not just Japanese. It does discuss its
Impact on plaque volume and plaque regression but this is limited
to Japanese. He fell short to expand this to other nation.
I am attaching his design in the Evaporate ongoing study below.
Go to the discussion section.
What do you think?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5838559/
This is because I am 14 years old and everybody
else is grown up...
I have a friend who worked for Seattle genetics.
Do you know how many drugs they have approved
By fda after 20 years?
You are correct. But he only goes as far as 20% rrr.
Thanks for responding. I hope we all win soon
as I am tired of waiting...
Did you come across the autopsy that revealed
Plaque rupture? This is what we are focused on.
Whether you are from Ukraine or USA or
any other 9 nations participants in Reduce-IT
a plaque is still a plaque. What about 4 grams of
EPA stabilizing that plaque over 6 years and 7 months
And the control with no epa and their basal level
Of blood epa way lower than the Japanese?
Under these circumstances what do you
expect to see?
I am sure you have common sense and you will
Move to save yourself...
Tasty,
do you taste gin during the day? Just curious
Whalatane, alias Akanz;
It could be you simply do not understand
That after using optimized statin, residual
Risk between 65 to 75 % cardiovascular risk
still exists. For people with ldl 67 and triglyceride
at 300 gets plaque rupture and die instantaneously.
Do you remember Tim Russel from nbc? Yet he had a stress
Test earlier and everything was fine...
Playing devil advocate is fine but you also need to integrate
Information with reality..
What about inflammation being connected to that risk as recently
confirmed by Cantos study?
And 4 grams of pure EPA does the job and substantially
Decrease the plaque volume and stabilize the plaque?
Where will you put your head then, Akanz?
Since I am so heavily vested I want your “ 50+ not impossible” to be the reality...
Chas, you can email me at odkrg@yahoo.com
and ask me precisely what metabolic data is of
interest to you. I will provide you with all the details
Together with my physician comments.
Thanks Chas. I hope you are right and I am wrong.
My concern is just concern and nothing else. If it will
not impact Reduce-IT then great!!!!
I like the trend but I take it with a grain
Of salt. Will they withhold a negative trend ?
Not rigorous enough unless complete independence
From Amarin...
Same thing with Dr Budoff. 85 percent chance of pulling
15 to 20 rrr. But he is employed by Amarin. Not completely
Independent point of view....
I am also bullish because I am heavily vested but
I am mindful of the following:
1. Jelis dealt with just one nation that has
a very high basal level of epa in blood
2. In Anchor Amarin attempts to equal the basal
Level of epa in Jelis by giving in an American population
4 grams of epa instead of the 1.8 grams in Jelis.
3. Then in Reduce-IT repeat 4 grams of epa in 11 nations
and expect a reduction in MACE that is statistically significant. The
advantage is using very risky populations in those 11 countries. Would
6 years and 7 months enough time? Jelis used 18,000 enrolees
While ReduceIT used only 8175 enrolees ....
This is just my opinion as Jelis could not prove statistically
Significant reduction in cardiac death using 18,000 enrolees.
Amarin is using only 8175 enrolees in 11 countries. I would be ecstatic if
Reduce-IT can do it. My only hope is a riskier population in Reduce-IT than Jelis
May make a difference but I am not convinced......
Hi North:
I apologize for not replying earlier.
1. I do not worry about type I dm since they need
Insulin. So there is no way around it. In your case
You are exceptional in the sense that being a type 1
DM you have consumed less calories, lost weight
And therefore take less insulin dosage. Congrats to you.
I believe the half life
Of endogenous insulin is 5to 6 minutes. Within one hour it is completely disintegrated.
There must be some very good reasons why nature wants to remove both glucose
And insulin from blood quickly as they both do damage
If they linger too long, nerve damage for instance.
2. Regarding my three friends they are not taking
Vascepa and their physicians are not interested
unfortunately. All three told me they do produce insulin.
They also told me they are insulin resistant. Since their hba1c
And fasting blood glucose have not improved based carbohydrate reduction
Their physicians first put them on Metformin. After 2000 mg
Failed all three have been put on insulin.
Based on what I learn from
Dr Jason Fung, a nephrologist, if you still produce insulin and you are
Insulin resistance the treatment is not to give more insulin but rather
To reduce carbohydrate consumption and do intermittent fasting
And gradually decrease insulin dosage. He has a lot of patients testimonials
And he has ton of information on YouTube how he treats t2dm. I am convinced by
Him that t2dm is reversible so long as it has not affected the kidneys. How many of enrolees
Are doing that?
I understand Vascepa reduce inflammation and insulin resistance increases inflammation. A t2dm with insulin
Resistance given more insulin will not be helped enough by 4 grams of Vascepa. Please recall we are talking about 30 percent of enrolees in Reduce-It spread in 11 countries.
I believe this will skew the results and prevent the rrr from being over 50%
As some believe here on our board.
Jl has contributed a lot on this board but I have more faith in the nephrologist , Dr Jason Fung who
actively threats all type of dm. I concur with him that when it comes to type2dm , food is the medicine. That
Is if you fast intermittently and reduce consumption of refined sugar, carbohydrate you can literally reduce insulin resistance and reverse t2dm.
He has also convinced me that as the caveman, we did not evolve by eating three meals a day. There is absolutely no need for breakfast.
As I indicated in a different posting I had insulin resistance last year while showing normal hba1c and normal fasting blood glucose all
My life.
By following Dr Jason Fung’s advice in just two months my insulin resistance
Fell to normal level and all my lipid level, total cholesterol, ldl and triglyceride became so good
That my physician wants to get me off Vytorin. It is 20 mg Zocor and 10 mg Zetia. I also lost
14 lbs.
In two weeks we will know the topline results of Reduce-IT. I am sure it will exceed rrr above 15 %
But I am absolutely certain it will be way less than rrr of 50% in pe.
I was expecting Vascepa to significantly reduce cardiac death. Now I am beginning to believe the time line is too
Short ( 6 years and 7 months). Lately I also
Learn that Metformin which comes from a flower is a very effective medicine. At the university of Cardiff it has been shown to increase lifespan compared to those who do not take it!!! Recently NIH has started to use as a first drug to see whether it can decrease aging.
Let me know what you think. I am serious about this. Thanks in advance.
All the best as always
Sorry for my earlier response as I wrote in a haste.
Thanks for responding. What Ayurvedic oil do you use
That give you a good night sleep.?Since I have allergies I use 50 mg of Benadryl
as a sleeping aid. If I come across a natural method I will switch in a heart beat.
The main reason I do not believe that it will not exceed 50% rrr is my
Concern about treatment of t2dm using insulin when patients have insulin resistance. When they produced insulin And have insulin resistance the treatment should be to reduce refined sugar and carbohydrate
Consumption the insulin resistance goes back to normal level.
My hba1c and fasting
Blood glucose are always in the normal range but last year lab tests came back
With insulin resistance. I followed the advice of a nephrologist, Dr Jason Fung by doing intermittent
Fasting as he has posted many YouTube videos. Within just 60 days my lipid profile improved dramatically to the point that My physician is trying to get me off Vytorin. I always thought that I have liver issue since
My ldl and triglyceride have always been high since my twenties. Now I believe that food is medicine.
And I understand that we store glucose as glycogen in the liver for short time use and in the long term the energy is stored as fat. So when we do not eat for a while first the glycogen is broken down in the short term
And fat is broken down in the long term. Using this basic concept I have been able
To lose 14 lbs and keep it off. It is important though to have a good night sleep as weight loss take place by
Growth hormone during the deep sleep stage.
Anyway I am very concerned that some of the enrollees in the 30
Percent of Reduce-IT that have t2dm are receiving insulin while they should decrease their
Carbohydrate consumption.in Dillon resistance increase inflammation dramatically. I already checked with 3 friends in the us that are on insulin even
Though they still produce insulin and have insulin resistance. Their mds do not know
about Vascepa and are not interested either....
If you are interested I can post my labs tests..
All the best.
My brother studied medicine in England. I am a fan of Manchester city fc.
Impressive that you sleep so well naturally. I have put
Way too much money in this stock. I am sure it will exceed
rrr of 15 percent but will not exceed 50 as some believe here.
Hope you are right. What a smart way to make sure
You do not need any pharmaceutical agents
To make you sleep?
I understand you are British. Do you support
any premier league team?
All the best as always.
Yep and him together with his conspirators will lose big time
shortly...
He is no idiot by any means. He is calculated and intends
to short it ...
And he will...
They will issue topline results and present
Holistic data. Then one by one they will
infer why so many Outcome studies failed
such as not using the right dose, population, and drug.
I am sure Amarin will take all the time in the world
To deliver what they promise. There is no room for mistakes
once you sue fda twice and won in courts. None. Period!
In investing in this stock I learn so much about medicine.
Food is medicine. If you want to reduce inflammation you take
4 grams of Vascepa. But if you want stellar lipid profile
Just cut all refined sugar and carbohydrate while taking the 4
Grams of Vascepa. In just two months you will see lab results
that you have never seen before. In the process you will lose weight
If you add intermittent fasting and be able to keep it off. And your doctor will
Suggest that you stop taking the statins when the ldl dropped to 39 like mine. I really
Learn the meaning of insulin resistance and See that many physicians do more harm when they prescribed more insulin when treating t2dm patients already producing endogenous insulin and
have insulin resistance. I know of 3 such cases in the US. What about those in the other 10 countries?
I also learn that no diet in the world work as they all decrease metabolism.
Wow, what a journey with this one stock!!! The topline results are not even out yet and I already feel like
a winner with now 181,383 shares, the last few bought at $2.43.
Be patient be patient Longs. Inexhaustible patience always pay off
Once you did your dd before you invested.
All the best to all longs. Just two more weeks at most....
Where is John Capello?
Yes put failed PE and failed SE results
As main presentation at AHA!!!!
You are dumber than what I thought!!!
Thanks. Fellow does not think critically!!!
Great to hear from you as you are always
Upbeat about Reduce-It chances of a stellar
Topline results. All the best to you.
Ps if you cut down all refined sugar and carbohydrates
And take 4 grams of Vascepa for just 60 days all
Your lipid lab tests will be stellar. I can print lab test results
If it is of interest to you. Food is medicine, the old adage.
Is he a real estate agent?
Common Marzan, why are you not more
enthusiastic? Are you ok?
