Thats right.
This is a surprisingly inactive board.
I believe your assessment on the current situation here and your analogy to ALMI is right on he mark.
Patience is the only thing required here while the job gets done just as it was with ALMI.
There were many that sold claiming ALMI was a hoax and that management was pulling a fraud.
Those same investing giants whined hugely on ALMI boards and even more sold their shares as a result.
Those that had a better understanding of management and the business held to their investing objectives and prospered hugely.
Hold fast and prosper!
The activity is mostly me taking a position.
Subtract that and you have almost no activity.
Investors in ALMI know what they are holding and few are prepared to sell at these prices.
It follows that there will be upward pressure on the PPS.
Sometimes logic does not prevail in the market.
I believe it will here---in spades!!
I find it very encouraging how Almi holds steady while the entire market takes a pounding today on interest rate jitters.
Dow off triple digits.
This is a true exhibition of strength and a testimony to the quality of this stock.
Grat find Joe--Thanx--eom
This is great but wait until some serious news comes along.
Then we shall see some serious upside.
---and Stix--your snide little jab was noted.
It will pain you to know that the money I took off the table went into deal that has performed even better than this one.
Much better.
---and yes---I have already recovered my original investment so I have four winners right now--- all free and clear.
So you can cogitate[look it up]over that before you make any more snide comments.
Other more seasoned investors will concur that the tactic of recovering the original investment on spec stocks is tested and true.
Learned this early from a very wealth gent and have practiced it religiously ever since.
Works well for me and for thousands of other intelligent investors.
Go ALMI!!
Our local paper this morning carries an article about a new company called 4D LABS which specializes in growing nano technology and specifically mentions the science of carrying medication for the time release of drugs through the human body via nano material delivery.
I will introduce our firm to that company.
Yes!---eom
Understood.
It's just amusing to see posts micromanaging away fruitlessly.
---how many microtubules are there in a nanogram and how much do they weigh---etc etc.
re "But, I do enjoy and hope to learn from others imput along the way to $4.00."
Well I hope you learned something from the input of the last several posters who offered the micromanaging posts Goodoc objects to.
I sure did not.
----and your quote is a little strange too.
Anything done to excess, worth it or not is never a good thing.
The key word is excess---or surfeit of.
Excessive would be in greated quantities than an accepted norm.
Correction fully expected and temporary.
No surprise here.
I posed the same question when I first came to this board and was instantly dismissed as a basher and troublemaker.
I believe you ask a legitimate question.
I have never found any mention of any other deposit of Halloysite anywhere in the world that is known to contain the same tubular structure as does our Dragon Mine.
That is not to say that other deposits do not exist, only that they are not known to exist.
This being so there is always the lingering possibility that another such deposit might be sitting out on the Namib or the Nullabor as yet undiscovered.
We can only work with what we know exists at this time.
My research shows that there are indeed deposits of halloysite in diverse regions such as eastern Europe and Australia and that these are said to contain poor quality deposite and are not known to have tubular properties.
So on the face of it and at this moment the Dragon Mine is the only game in town------
----and this pleases me and no doubt many others here--
-----IMMENSELY!!
Looks like volume is easing off and it is a down market day.
Nevertheless the stock is holding up well even though a breather is probable.
I think there will be more upward movement in the PPS on Monday after many new investors hear about ALMI and absorb the letter to shareholders.
This is a story that is still in its infancy with a very bright outlook ahead.
Beigle.
Stix has a problem as a fixated whiner.
Note comments by posters on the RB board today about his problem.
First it was non stop whining because ALMI wasn't shipping enough goodies and now that that is all resolved [never a problem anyway] Stix is whining because he doesn't like how I buy and sell stocks.
I simply see Stix as the boards single aberration and find my life is too full and busy to engage in repartee with the deranged.
This is why you never see me replying to his nonsense.
I rarely read his posts anyway as it is easier simply to skip them.
On ignore at RB
PS
When a stock is charging north---nobody feels they hold enough shares!
They always want more.
The reverse is true when a stock flies south.

My sentiments and strategy exactly.
Some time back I sold enough to make a very substantial free position. That sale was at a time when there were a lot of "what if's" than there are now.
That strategy of creating a free position has saved my bacon many times as I am not an error free investor[have you met one who wasn't a liar?] and have bought stocks which after an initial surge, failed completely later.
Chech out PWLX bombing today.Lots of people are wetting themselves but my shares are free and I just shrug and wait for a probable recovery or possible total collapse.Either way I don't chew rolaids like the hot shot crew!
I have rarely lost taking advantage of that surge while many hotshots[wet behind the ears]took exception to my strategy.
It has always been a mystery why there is always someone who seems to take my strategy personally and can't let it go.
Silly, no?
It's a winning strategy for me and for thousands of other cagey investors.
Now that ALMI is on much more solid footing I am here for the long haul.No swing trading. No market timing. No panicky reaction to the inevitable bumps along the way.
Quite content with my pile of free shares.
Well now!
That was quite a day.
Volume at a million, three times the daily average.
I wonder what brought that on?
People have said that news is coming but what could they know that is not public knowledge?
Do you suppose the Nano connection recognition is filtering onto the consciousness of the nano crowd?
Who knows--I sure don't.
One thing for sure. This slow but solid price appreciation has silenced the bashers and muzzled the whiners---and thats a blessing!
My impression is that the Nanotubes are suspended in a quantity of clay detritus which itself is broken or parts of nanotubes.
Imagine this to be a bag of rice.
Beat the bag with a rock enough and some of that rice turns into powder.
Same material but different physical shapes.
Now pass the contents of the bag through a very fine seive and you seperate the whole rice from the bits of rice.
Simplified but I'm sure you get the drift.
For those of us who don't have the skills you do with americanese, please describe what happens when a company becomes a runnen.
Is this a terminal condition?
Or is it something desirable?
He He!
I think Beigle intended--
--"discoveries" to mean new applications for the nanotubules rather than discoveries of more pockets of clay--JMHO
Just so!---eom
If they started coating ship hulls with nano laden antifouling paint it will chew up many many tons quickly.
There are applications we havent even dreamt about yet.
Here is just one.
The lock systems in the St Lawrence seaway are having serious problems with zebra clams clogging up the machinery. The damn things that came from asia are an expensive problem and must be removed manually as no other method seems to work.
I wonder if Suez and Panama have similiar problems.
They would be big buyers of antifouling paint laced with time release fungicide microtubules if such a thing was readily available
If he does, you may regard it as a compliment!!
A lot of these chartists speak in such arcane terms it is akin to reading a pile of chicken guts to me.
Always some vague and ready excuse if things don't go as they prognosticate--- which is quite often.
The law of averages being what they are, they have a chance of being right half of the time on whether the market will go up or whether it will come down!
Anyway they sound impressively learned throwing about Elliot's wave theory and Bollingers bands.
More power to'em!
Without revisiting that sad video[something I will avoid if I can]I believe he said that the testing results should surface in the next few moonths.
Don't believe he used any language to say that the test results were complete or that the military had definitely picked up the Radcam engine
just watched the video and was struck by the fact that when asked to differentiate between Wankel and Randcam our CEO did not point out that Wankel is gas and Randcam is diesel.
In fact nowhere does he mention that it is a unique diesel engine.
He also looked like a rabbit caught in the crosshares of a rifle and should seriously consider someone else to do PR spots for him.I am not saying this to be unkind as I look much the same when I am in front of a camera but at least I know to get someone better suited for the job to do it for me to project a better image for my company.
Of course all this will not signify if as he says the military picks up the engine for its spy planes or whatever.
That fairly answers my question on RB
Thanks
Suggest you visit http://www.regtech.com/ and read it all carefully.
Your answers are all there and so are the answers to the questions you haven't asked yet!
I note an error on opening page of Reg Tech website which I believe leads to a lot of confusion and have sent an email to Arnie at PR dept and as of today he tells me he concurs with my take and a correction is pending.
This board DD section carries the same innacurate wording.
Copy of my email follows:
As a prospective new investor in Reg Tech I am somewhat confused by the following statement on the first page of your website.
Reg Technologies, Inc. owns the worldwide rights to the Rand Cam™ rotary technology with its U.S. subsidiary REGI U.S., Inc. which owns the U.S. rights.
[1]The wording appears to say that Reg Tech owns the wordwide rights together with its US subsidiary Regi US which also owns the US rights.
As I understand it:
[2]Reg tech is the sole owner of the worlwide rights exclusive of the US which is owned by Regi US.
Statements one and two are not at all the same thing as Regi US does not share in ownership of the worldwide patents as I understand it.
An investor in RRE enjoys exposure to world wide patents plus exposure to the US through its 6 million shares stake in RGUS and RAND.
An investor in RGUS enjoys US deployment only.
If I am correct suggest you make a quick change to web page to prevent further confusion.
Best regards
$$$$$$$
Strange lack of posters here!--eom
Re
"If the U.S. develops and sells the rotary engine then RGUS will make the profit, however if China was to develop and market the engine then RRE/REGEF would make the profit and show an increased price per share over the other subsidiary."
As I understand it this is not entirely accurate.
RRE owns some 6 million shares of RGUS.Therefore if A USco develops the tech, certainly RGUS would profit but this profit would also flow up to RRE, the parent, proportional to its share holding in RGUS.
If say a Chinaco developed the tech then RRe would profit but RGUS would not at all.
My understanding.Challenge away!!
I believe you are correct here.
The military does not have a stellar record for picking winning technology on its own strengths and bringing it quickly into use.
Great technologies can languish while the procurement poobahs play out their mandates.
Procurement is better known for $200 hammers and toilet seats while lightly armoured Humvees are sent to the battle zone and so on-----
I think it far more likely that the entrepreneurial businessman will see the potential and jump on this.
The thing that staggers the mind is the variety of applications in a myriad of industries this technology can be adapted to.
If this engine tests out well---IF!
Then this could put Vancouvers Ballard Systems in the shade with a meteoric rise in PPS.
An educated risk IMHO.
I believe we are going through a spell in which these samples are being evaluated by various prospective clients which of course takes some time.
I also believe as a result of these evaluations orders will start hitting the desk and fulfillment will commence.
Like you,I find it difficult to be patient in this vacuum but I think it will end sooner than we think with valuable announcements.
Merry Christmas to all here and thanks for the valuable contibutions many have made on this board this year.
Typical.
It was easily forseen that the bashers and naysayers would go positive on ALMI as soon as serious strength took hold.
Next they will be saying that they always knew ALMI was the golden stock and that the CEO is the annointed one!
This after all the abuse and slurs cast at ALMi and at its CEO.
Whatever--- the credibility of those posters is in tatters no matter what they say from here on out.
Their opinions did not amount to a pinch anyhoo.
What matters to most here is that they have picked a winner and anticipate serious appriciation in the near future.
Doubloon.
Thanks.
A tip of the martini glass in your direction!
Smiles all around today!
When meat is available to be served at the ALMI table,no doubt it will be served with gusto.
My posture on this stock is that I really like the story and the product and respect the management.
Based on that alone I am content to tuck my shares away and seriously look at them again north of $2
Bumps along the way? Sure there will be some.
Thing is though that I have a very full and busy life and I am not going to micromanage and sweat this thing.
Don't need to anyway as my stake cost nothing.
There are some here that will moan and writhe on any perceived or self manufactured problem.
They can sweat the mini details for me!
---and at no cost to me either!
The news release contains specific answers to where 1995 revenues are going to come from for anyone with even normal cognitive abilities.
Lintech is sending out samples to prospective buyers. The natural progression is that some of these prospects will place orders and in the normal course of things will pay for them
Naturally in order to follow and appreciate this sequence it is neccessary that the reader have some faith in the company, its management and above all it its product.
Those that have no faith will continue to find fault and post negatives.
Tom Hinson, President of Lintech International said, ''We received a sample of the clay and it is of exceptional quality. We'll be shipping this initial order to a variety of different buyers -- both domestic and international -- for use in a wide array of applications. These particular buyers use clay for a whole host of traditional products including fine china, various ceramic and porcelain applications, as well as glaze, finish, and coating products.''
FUCUS
Lintech is the distributor for ALMI clay. They are moving forward in developing markets for the product.
I see this as the logical progression of a sound business model and am quite content to let this CEO manage this firm going forward.
Those that perceive the company as a fraud and it's announcements as"fluff" have their own agenda and they will always be spreading lies and doubt.
Carry on ALMI---happy camper here.
