I posed the same question when I first came to this board and was instantly dismissed as a basher and troublemaker.

I believe you ask a legitimate question.

I have never found any mention of any other deposit of Halloysite anywhere in the world that is known to contain the same tubular structure as does our Dragon Mine.

That is not to say that other deposits do not exist, only that they are not known to exist.

This being so there is always the lingering possibility that another such deposit might be sitting out on the Namib or the Nullabor as yet undiscovered.

We can only work with what we know exists at this time.

My research shows that there are indeed deposits of halloysite in diverse regions such as eastern Europe and Australia and that these are said to contain poor quality deposite and are not known to have tubular properties.

So on the face of it and at this moment the Dragon Mine is the only game in town------

----and this pleases me and no doubt many others here--

-----IMMENSELY!!
