These are the same guys that were Adair international ( AIGI) back in 1999/2000. went from a nickel to over $3. I made over $100,000 on that one. Im in for a little here
Buyout rumors?
Surprised there haven't been any yet with HP's announcement they are getting in 3D. This tiny float and market cap should make it fly on any rumors...
Another 4%.....sssssssssssss. maybe some duct tape will fix the leak? That's it, they can do a "rights" offering to shareholders to buy a case of duct tape at a discount for every share owned!
naaah, what would lampert and his boys want with all that duct tape?? they only want to gobble up the sellable assets free and clear from the shld shares when they file the BK
SHLDQ coming soon. lol
down 4% on an up day. Time to get another can of Fix-A-Flat ready. Er, I mean yet another "rights" offering cued up. What's up next? Craftsman? Kenmore? Not much left to sell to the shareholders lol.
Sssssssssssssss...
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.... what's that hissing sound?
even better, look at the 7 year chart....180 down to 24....I don't find a $16 bounce impressive after that ( would have liked to have caught the quick profit though). Especially in light of the fact that sears/kmart is STILL losing over $1,000,000,000 a year. thats a Billion....with a capital B. And can only get money now by borrowing from it's insiders or stockholders or selling/mortgaging what little it has left. Lol. Yes everyone should see the long term value here. beautiful chart! my hat's off to the "no dummies" that have lost 80% of the stock price, full confidence they'll have it back to $180 in no time...oops, decimal point error. make that $18.
thats a pretty narrowly focused view....take a look at the 2 year... or the 5 year....you keep mentioning $62....it didnt go to 25 on a split lol, it got sold down to there... keeps making lower lows if you look at more than a few weeks/months chart. And you can't claim you're just trading it anymore because you keep making references to the long term value lol. can't have it both ways. Now you have to sleep with it, at least as far as your stance on this board. Again, acknowledge the knockdowns and the lower lows and lower highs, not just a short term chart and proclaim it to be a value stock
Let me put it another way.
perma bulls, especially on corpse stocks like SHLD keep on citing how many times the stock has gotten up off the canvas without ever acknowledging that it had gotten smacked in the face and put there in the first place lol. All these great spikes NEVER could have happened if it hadn't gotten slammed down. And like a biased boxing fan, all the bulls mention is the getting back up,not the knockdowns! And in this case the dang boxer is unconscious lol. it's the cornermen and the promoters that keep rushing in to stand it back up to prolong the bout even though the boxer can't even raise his arms to swing anymore ha ha, make money on the rigged spectacle but don't plan on any long term value. just my two cents....ohhhh, I see the market winding up for another humiliating knock to the canvas... :)
just look at the chart....BIG pump up then slowly bleeds off to new lows. not a matter of if but when. Just like pumping up a tire with a hole in it lol.
trade it, dont get caught holding it
Going to be an ugly post Christmas sell off. For sears and the market as a whole. Looking like 2001 and 08/09 all over again. Lots of pain for people who don't find a seat before the music stops.
You're the only long here lol. And I think I'm the only antagonist. Most of the ihub boards are ghost towns
I'm calling 42.78 top. look at the 5 year
Yup, SOME stocks still react to earnings and valuations lol.
The whole market is in la-la land though. It's all about following the big boys and reacting to whether the fed chairman eats soup or salad first for lunch. Wild swings, ridiculous pps. Crash is coming. Pull up a 20 year chart on the S&P. Every 6 years or so the pumping of the bubble reaches it's pinnacle and when enthusiasm is at it's greatest for stocks always going UP, the big fish dump into the retail buying and short it til they flush everyone out. Lather, rinse, repeat lol.
Sears is looking pretty good though I must say! EPS of $17.50!....oh wait, there's a minus sign in front of that. That would mean all that cash they just raised through asset sales and more debt might last them 6 months if they're frugal. too funny. sears is as sound as the Dollar....
What true facts??
It's an engineered stock manipulation. Interesting to see where it leads. I imagine eventually in lawsuits out the ying yang and the stock halted then delisted. but who knows how long they can keep the game going before that happens lol
yep, you're unbridled enthusiasm combined with the high options premiums scared me. I won't touch it now. it's in that unreal bubble where any news good, bad or terrible makes it go up lol
ha ha, yeah Obama said EVERYONE was going to have health care when he was campaigning ( if he ever does really stop campaigning, everything he says still sounds like a campaign speech to me). But what he didn't mention was that the price was going to double, then triple and you would be FORCED to buy it and that's why everyone would have it! LOL, the subtleties of what's NOT said...
As for ONVO helping bring down the cost? I suppose somewhere in the equation it might make a few minuscule dent...doubtful though. The name of the game is profits, BIG profits. That goes for ONVO too hence the reason people are willing to speculate and buy shares. If mankind gets helped along the way well that's an added bonus.
Oppenheimer initiated coverage with $35 target.
XONE looks really good for a run, seems like this is the 3D play they want to push now that the other 3D's are in the wood shed
Value Walk article yesterday...
I almost nose jetted my coffee this morning when I read the last line of the article lol.
http://www.valuewalk.com/2014/10/sears-holdings-corp-liquidity-lampert/
What's with the officers selling the ridiculously small blocks of shares?...Bunch of form 4's recently showing disposals of shares that hardly seem worth it.... Is this how they're taking their weekly salaries?? lol
Man Im tempted to go long....not because the stock is worth anything (it's not lol, pure garbage floating but slowly sinking), but because I feel left out on all the weekly specials, er i mean "rights" offerings... first they gave holders the right to "Buy" what they already really owned with their SHLD shares but because nobody wanted the canadian shares they labeled it as a "right" ( aka a privelege) for existing shareholders to buy...LOL... now the flavor of the week is to offer shareholders the "right" to loan the company money ( unsecured of course...) because no one else will! but somehow it's another benny of being a SHLD stock holder... THIS IS GETTING SURREAL!
Next week if they have another "rights' offering to be allowed to come sweep the floors and wash the windows I AM IN! being a SHLD shareholder has so many rights attached to it. Why isnt eveyone getting in?? :)
Cool, I like it when people make money, unless it's off of me or if they're an A**
Already told you several times I'm on the sidelines for now, have been for over a week
Can I brag and cheer when it's down again very soon without you copping an attitude? :)
No, HE isnt. But we are not him or have his money and percentage... the people who are dummies are those holding long as an investment based on insiders holdings.
Trade it? yes....own it long term? lol....
Excellent call! Did you take some profits at 35 as you said?
I think walmart and target are worried now that sears/kmart is going to come back and clobber them with all this great news! ha ha
I see the latest "good" development is they're leasing/subleasing out space in their stores to someone that might actually have customers.... lol. They'ye triple mortgaged the house, sold off all the furnitue or burnt it in the fireplace to keep warm and now they're renting out rooms to boarders. And they net result is they're deeper in the hole every day. Yes I have a warm fuzzy feeling about SHLD....think I'll buy some to pass on to the Grandkids!
It will. sears is dead. They can only play games with the stock price for so long, they're running out of assets to sell/spin off and then what's left of the public float will be pretty near worthless. just a casino game now playing the manipulation. But I AM glad you're making money, just hope you walk away from the table before you give it all back to the house lol.
That means it should be down 24% in a few days :)
Lol,no not a lot...but you posted the 3% up....figured the 6% down deserved equal time :)
Premiums too much to play the options for me so I'm not excited either.
Have a good weekend
Nice! backfilled yesterday's run from 21 and back Green. Looking great for next week
Down 6.43%....lol
squeeze.... tiny float stocks move so fast...nice day
Agreed. ONVO needs respected Analyst coverage and some buy recs. SA and MF articles don't do anything but temporary pops and drops.
Shorts have control because there's always the black cloud threat overhanging that there's a big secondary coming to raise capital.
Announcing a JV with a big player that eliminates the funding factor and getting an investment house or two to give a thumbs up and ONVO shoots to $20 area. Until then shorts have no impetus to cover and it will be more of the same rangebound trading.
Seems like short term support at 19 and resistance in low 20's.
Low volume lately though so anything can happen.
If gets both legs over $20 and holds there XONE should be primed for a nice run on short covering alone once the overall market is done washing out. Thanksgiving and the Santa rally are not far off. $30~$35 can be the trading range soon
Could be. The stock is disconnected from the fundamentals. Just a spec play on what the big investors are doing. As you yourself have mentioned several times, your basis for bying/holding is because berkowitz has increased his stake as well as others and they'll protect their money. The only problem with that as I see it is that since the analysts and commentators mostly agree that SHLD is an avoid and the numbers all say this is a Titanic going down situation, the only logical play these guys are going for now is to accumulate to a certain strategic % position and take the company private where they can carve it up and try and dump the debt and keep what will benefit them ( like real estate, they've already tipped their hand there). I could be wrong of course lol.
But you have to ask yourself if that's what they're doing, then : at what point do they decide they are positioned properly and once they are don't they really prefer that the price is in the dumpster since they won't ever be selling the shares, but rather buying up the remainder? Do they want to buyout the rest at $40 or $10?....
Good call. Still more downside. The saudis are dropping oil so low it drives the small us producers out. DNR has a LOT of debt...wow. They won't have any income to service that debt with declining income turning into losses. I see $5 coming on this one
Never know what the big fish have up their sleeves. All kinds of exotic ways to bail out of a plane. lampert is starting to write personal mortgages on the real estate....definitely not a good sign
Hope you get it, as long as I'm not on the other side when it happens lol.
Too risky for me, this has BK written all over it
I think I would need to be way up in a hot air balloon to see $62 lol.
I've been looking at it all day but options are too pricey either way to play it for me. Will wait til $30 to try some puts again ( if it get's there). Sold my $26p's a little too early last week but made a few hundred.
Did you sell any or still thinking you'll get more?
Only thing I've bought today is some DVR for a bounce. Want some UBNT calls but it looks like it's going lower before it climbs again. tricky market right now to say the least
really light vol today....
I'm just trying to have fun, not be personally insulting. Giving you a little grief is all. I miss the old days back in the 90's when raging bull and yahoo were still kicking and there were some good chat rooms where you could have good back and forth with friends and strangers alike during the trading day. Wasn't uncommon at all to feed someone a little good natured Cr*p then end up jumping in their trade with them lol. Those days are gone and the boards are basically dead. I am glad to see that what little traffic this board has seems to be traders. I tried to get conversations going on the JCP board during and after the Ackman fiasco when it was still tradeable and those zealots would delete most of the posts that had anything to do with trading the stock. They literally would have 20 posts discussing that weeks sales circular in the newspaper and report back the lunchtime head counts at their local stores...and remove posts that deviated from that ridiculousness... sheesh.
About that data breach at K-mart. Wow they must have netted what? 20 to 30 credit card numbers? Maybe 50 if it was during a time when a bunch of stores were having 70% off closing forever sales. Lol
Next week should bring an rights offering to the shareholders to buy the furniture and fixtures....or a spinoff of yet another piece in lame hopes the market will be stupid enough to see it as a positive development lol. I've been amazed the last two years at the wild swings and never seemed to be able to time it right either up or down to make anything :( This party is over though. Even if the boys do an interview riding unicycles and juggling chainsaws the tribe has spoken...not gonna get a chance to whack it at 40 again. Wouldn't mind another shot at 30 though!
