I'm pretty frustrated about the EPC not getting done by the end of the year but overall I think the news is good. Although it is yet another test of my patience.
I'm not concerned with inflation much less hyperinflation in the near term. Deflation remains the biggest threat to our economy, hence the Feds quantitative easing. I think the Fed is close to ending QE so we'll see what happens but I still think a deflationary crash is more likely than high inflation for the next couple of years.
Here's a good article on current and projected inflation rate & the Fed
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-10-10/fed-aim-off-target-as-inflation-descends-near-danger-zone.html
Basically as long as the economy continues to stink deflation is the big threat. If the economy really starts to rock & roll say hello to inflation. I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.
Market is tanking all over the place. That's my best guess.
I'd like to hear something official on what's going on with the Hendry site other than the news article snippet that there's an "environmental issue".
As far as I've seen, all of us longs on the board have stuck it out. Now back to waiting for some news on the EPC.
Someone has been unloading shares below 5 cents the last two days. Seems like a dumb thing to do to me but I picked up some more shares at that price. Time will tell, maybe I'm the dumb one.
WooHoo! Thanks codaras!
Thanks codaras. The comments from the city manager sound as if he still supports bionitrogen and will be encouraging that the city council will move forward with added safeguards...
“We expect the city council to vote Thursday night whether or not to move forward. If they do vote to move forward, we have put an additional safeguard in place where all of the funds from the $5 million will be wired directly to the vendor, not to BioNitrogen.”
I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
Swikey, can you elaborate on what you've heard about the EPC being near completion?
"Couple of points that actually made me chuckle was quoting segments of the investor risk statement, which is as a matter of fact included in every and all financial report (literally). "
I agree Long. That was the part that made me disregard what that person was saying. We already know that there are those in the county that oppose building a plant and he's clearly one of them. Claiming he's never seen such investor risk statements means he either has no clue what he is talking about or he's lying. Hopefully the council doesn't fall for it. I'm sticking with BION and I think (hope) this is only a temporary setback but I'm pretty pissed about this whole Kornegay business. I've typed out a couple of angry rants but decided not to post them.
Nothing wrong with playing the swings OOTS. That's what I do with most stocks. I don't think the Kornegay issue is going to be a problem if the facts are as they have been described.

Maybe they are going to announce they started a new brush pile...lol
With all of the complaining I'm curious if any of you longs are giving up or are you just venting. I was hoping for a happy Fall but I had already decided I would hold until Spring if things didn't materialize. All of my shares are LT capital gains in April so I might as well hold and see what happens.
Engineering Procurement Construction
If the stock continues an uptrend it should attract technical traders who only play the charts without really caring about the company.
More than just fertilizer?
I don't know anything about the advanced biofuels this article is talking about but it's cool they mention BioNitrogen...

September is finally here!
I've always had a hunch that Sept would be the month that things really get going. So strap yourselves in Ladies and Gentlemen...I think we're about to go for a ride!
Volume over 550,000 over the past two days without the price changing. Yet another round of new shares being issued?
Great find OOTS!
The video is encouraging at a time when no news is coming from the company. Couple of things about the video I noticed were they said all bonds would be purchased by a single institutional investor which jives with the mention of Deutschebank from the ribbon cutting. Also the plant site design in this video appears much more detailed than the graphic that was presented at the ribbon cutting. Hopefully a sign that things are progressing and great news is forthcoming.
Good Luck with that
I'm not concerned about the tech not working. They're using casale's tech which is proven. So once they have gasified the biowaste to produce natural gas the rest of the process is the same as the rest of the industry.
Just getting tired of waiting for something to happen.
I bought a little in early 2011 at over $1 per share. Watched it crash then averaged down to .03 with several hundred thousand shares. Then sold half when it was around 40 cents for a nice profit. Now I have 550k shares at .05 average. As frustrating as the wait has been I'm confident in a big gains to come. BION hasn't executed perfectly but they are persistent and I believe they will get this thing off the ground before too long.
I see where Webb is coming from, honestly I thought you were a troll until I saw your twitter/instagram profile. I just think you're a little unrealistic at where BION should be valued right now. I've been holding and adding to my position for 2 years now so obviously I believe that there are great things to come. At the same time it's been delay after delay after delay so it doesn't surprise me that the stock is only a nickel.
I think a big bounce is coming soon. The on balance volume has been up for a couple of months while the price has remained relatively flat so I think the stock is being accumulated...good things to come.
LOL they've never stated they have received millions and millions or billions of dollars. But hey go ahead and call the SEC and tell them we want Bionitrogen's stock to go up faster. Maybe they can do something about it.
I really prefer no news until there is something truly significant to report. If they were constantly releasing fluff news I'd start getting worried.
Think of it as a political campaign....
"Senior management of BioNitrogen and state and local officials will be in attendance and will discuss the plans for Hendry County."
What makes you think this money won't be used for the EPC?
If you truly believe that then you should take a small loss rather than hanging on hoping to get back to even. Investing 101.
For me, the lack of progress is frustrating and a little worrisome but the risk vs. reward of Bion is still enough to keep me in the stock.
I have the same issue on etrade. They told me penny stocks can take 4-6 weeks.
PPS will probably be back to $.03 by then. I hope so, I'd like to pick up some more at that price.
Why is KBR the hold up? Isn't the bond sale what everyone is waiting on?
This is not toxic financing. Toxic financing is when the # of shares issued is contigent upon a predicted future price per share that is higher than the actual price per share at that time. Thus there is no incentive for the investor to hold the stock, they just sell.
A123 Systems was a perfect example of toxic financing. Here is an article on what they did...
http://seekingalpha.com/article/760021-a123-systems-an-object-lesson-in-toxic-financing
This is not what bionitrogen has done.
Well they said the were going to uplist a year ago. No word on what happened. So I'll put moving off of pinks in my believe it when I see it file.
http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/bio-nitrogen-corp-bion-to-commence-up-listing-to-the-otcqb-pinksheets-bion-1628945.htm
I wish something would happen.
I hate the current stock price. Either take off or tank down to a nickel so I can buy some more.
Why such low volume?
The land purchase seems like really positive news to me. I thought it would generate more interest. Am I wrong about it being really good news?
I think the big drop is just EOY profit taking. I was considering doing the same this past Friday because I expected a drop today but I decided I'd probably never get back in at under 4 cents again. Good things ahead I think.
It's hard not to sell.
I got in at $0.03 with the intention of letting it ride until the price was over $1 but man now that I'm up a 1000% it's hard not to take the money. What to do what to do?
Seems like a good spot to me. Across the street from the bank and next to the chamber of commerce and a bbq restaruant.
