Come on Icahn - getting tired of waiting for u on this once since early last year...
Saw that and did the same Monday on the calls. Shoulda sold. Now buying lower calls on the drop this AM. Glty
Need a pullback so we can add more. This will do well in 2014, but not sure it can outperform the gains I made in 2013.
In all my years I have never see such gains, especially on the short side. The puts I bought on Friday were a 4,400% gain at todays lows in the stock. Crazy... I now own the calls for a snap back to $350-$400 by Friday! GLTY all.
Added at $1.75 today...for a flip or not
Sure. As always.... I personally don't see a cup & handle and thats one of my fav patterns. The recent retracement to $4.2 and back up to $7.20 looks more like a V shaped pattern and is the very reason I bought puts at $6 up to $7 where she finally gave out. The real purchase was off $4.2/200 day back around Dec. 19th. As I mentioned last week, I could see her touch $6 before making its way to higher highs but with all the positive news it wouldn't surprise me to see her back over $7. GLTY
Sold puts and bought some cheap calls...
Actually I covered my puts on yesterdays down leg. Looks good so far. I don't go that technical on technicals any more. I once used all of it, Fibonacci ect. But you can get way too caught up in that stuff and miss many moves. You need a keen eye, gut and exp. first level of initiation is $6.52, then $6.30, $6.03. She looks like she wants to break down a little and test some lower levesl - maybe some of them I have provided. I can't explain how I pick my levles. I see what I see after 25 years of reading tea leaves. Remember, technicals follow fundamentals and not the other way around. Its an art not a science and you have to take it like a grain of salt.
Np, and lastly the stock may never get to my levels so as I always say, add with caution using the pyramid program adding more as she drops! Glty
Wow, Hadki is my fav
U shld see my $270's from friday
Congrats is in order stocknawe. Nice csll...I wanted back in at $25 before she hit your projected $33.
NP, trying to get the overall market direction is a waste. IMO, stocks may pullback in the short-term but I still feel the performers still have room to the upside. With respect to GRPN, I still think they need a positive catalyst to see $15 and that would be better earnings numbers. They haven't been bad but the weakness in Europe and a few Q4 guidance reductions has the stock restricted from being a teenager. Granted, their mobile growth has been mitigating their Q4 guidance reductions. The Q 4 earnings should be pivotal...My advice would be, if you plan to buy don't jump in with both feet. Add on pullbacks. I like the price under $11. Ut who knows if she will stay down here. I would like to see her test $10.47, another level to add at. I don't think she gets there, but this is the stock market so anything goes, $9.10 is a great price. I would aggressively add down there but again, I don't see her getting down there unless earnings is a mess or the market pulls back 5% or so...
Nice! I dumped the other day for $11.40ish!
Thanks bud. Appreciate that. Wish more people were like you...
$10.80 first buy. Sorry for the delay. Was out of pocket.
Nice GS note on twtr. Congrats..
Agreed 100%. FB had to prove they could monetize mobile and once that was fact she ran from the $20's to current prices. I traded her but remained ST until that confirmation. I think the same is true for twtr. Personally I think that stock value compared to what they forecast for 14 will be wide. IMO. Doesn't mean i wont look for opps to flip her.
I think you can buy a little for a quick trade at $54.25 if she gets there today or in the next few days..
Whats the most comical is the analyst trying to figure out their numbers/earnings and upgrading and downgrade. Let them have their first earnings and see what happens. We all saw this play out in FB. It takes time.
Cnbc about to fo a bit on bitcoin. Something about NY maybe accepting the currency?
Ha, thats funny.
Thanks friend. I sold it before i posted. Cnbc just had an analyst on twtr.
Agreed. Just a neg weaker margin bs report...
Buying opp.
If she breaks the $6.30-$6.20 level then she will test $6. And we can watch for a lower retracement. IMO.
Nice flip on twtr from yesterday's lows. Calls...
Still long puts that have been paying off and will. Dilution...$$$$
Well first of all, with respect to YGE I didn't much more than notice the nose bleed chart and pick my spots. Sometimes its that simple. Other times I build models in excel and track four years of data looking for growth or shrinking margins, ect..YGE had a series of good news but what people often fail to realize is that good news takes months to actually show up in the earnings so stock will initially move higher on it and then retrace. I was schooled in TA from some very pro/smart folks but you don't need all those retracement tools/Fibonacci guidlines. I quickly notices that the $7.24 level posed significant resistance and often stocks run thru those levels by a few % points but eventually sellers and short players will see the same thing. TA only works if others see that you see or when using S/R levels. Often algo/momentum traders and such will use S/R levels to buy and sell stocks, but TA is never a leading indicator or market changer. It may have a very short term impact but fundamentals lead the cart. YGE could easily reach $7.8 before she retraces back to find support but me/ I would like to see a test of $6.0 before I went really long but that doesnt mean zi wont be short and start adding as the stock back ps in.
For now its expensive and will be until they can monitize. But buying a cheap call on a huge slide is fun. I still think we see $40 and under after earnings... Maybe before.
Doesn't mean i can't buy a cheap $56.5 call exp. 2morro.
Thats 100% correct and my target price.
Yes, yesterdays peak of $7.47 was key. Three times failure...i bought a bunch of puts averaging down on the $7's and $6's. I can see $6.60 as the first stop but $6 on a severe shake...
I will gladly take just a closet full of gold. Well I have been known to play the long and short against themselves depending on the move and my outlook. I'm officially out of nugt now and don't play straight gold. I may look to get back in if she flirts with that $25 level again...glty
Sold yesterday and I'm loading today under $30
Rookie I actually told Jody the best single thing that Fuse did was convince Tiger to carry that bag and that the value of the bad far exceeded the value of Fuse (April). Then I told him to sell the rights to the bag for millions and use that money to market and advertise. Bester use of funds than what Tigers nag marketing ever did. IMO
Hey debub. Made me laugh as always. Nice to see you. Glty..
Losing steam I hope.
Hard to know the initial market reaction when and if that happens. But if they do enact the RS then yes typically the short players will have a blast with this. Easier to short and they will be all over the boards touting the end is near.
Lol. I wish. Maybe next year ;)
