Cite the sources, please.
Stay well.
PS: For example, post the date of payments to folks with source docs and stuff, one at a time, please. While at it, the precise settlement amount for UOIP shareholders to focus on for payout.

Please cite sources on each point for UOIP shareholders.

Hmmmm...I think if I sell something I do not own and am not authorized to sell to someone who knows I do not own it and has accepted stolen property...well, I did not go to law school, but I think this could be problematic for those in receipt of stolen property. Stay well.

Cool!
Billy is a fine southern gentleman.
Billy is a fine southern gentleman.
That is a really long post to read.

Thank you for posting this!
Yup...and he could have made a fortune if he kept the stock trading, just on the news of a settlement.
Too stupid to have a job.
Probably took advice from his moron legal team.
They cost him $2 per share for a spike and at least $0.50 per share on the downside.
Hope they all read this post.
Hope he is writing them very large checks for the stupid legal advice that cost him hundreds of millions of dollars.
Hope they cite me in their next legal document.
Best to all UOIP shareholder longs!
As always, your posts are wonderful!
Well...side deals are not unheard of...I really liked that Paul Newman movie, The Verdict, where someone infiltrated and attempted to manipulate.
Google legal document font. That is what I did. Stay well.
PS: It is, of course, possible that first year law students take a course in deception.
He should repeat that in front of the judge to see if efforts of this sort, intentionally designed to deceive, are a common practice in legal filings.
I doubt it and do not believe it, and hope all UOIP longs stay well.

"I would bet the cable companies, deal, dwarfs all previous wins."
Agree.
I think we are above $1B, but time will tell.
It is actually $39.95 + tax.
We modified the fonts to make it difficult for others to determine the actual amount of the legal fees.
Hmmmmm...a legal document with intentionally deceptive font and so on...okay.
Cool!
Extraordinary events are both [1] unusual and [2] infrequent in nature, while being [3] significant in amount.
You work very hard and I appreciate your posts.

Actually, the redacted numbers looked VERY good to me, but I could be wrong.
Honorable people project and expect and anticipate honorable behavior from others.
Clawback.
If you know what happened, tell us.
Just unwind everything Billy did without authorization.
Stay well.
Had to look it up...you use lots of big words...

I just want to get paid before I croak it, but I guess Billy wants to wait a few more decades.
So, we have narrowed things down to somewhere between $100M and $10B for settlement. Thanks to all for helping fine tune these measures. Previously, I would have thought this level of precision to be unachievable. AJ & Dutch
I like your numbers.
Unwind everything Billy did without authorization and let everyone on planet Earth sue him for the rest of his life.
Stay well.
AJ
So, less than a trillion?
Are you saying that the "remainder" of the settlement is larger than the funds held in "escrow?"
Guessing you are saying less than $1B.
If so, say so.
If not, say so.
Of course, any and all can be "unwound" and everyone on planet Earth can sue Billy for over stepping his authority.
Stay well.
But...what if you are wrong?
This should remain the focus.
Wayyyyyy too much to read.
Anyway, I accept your offer.
Your shares valued at settlement of $100M.
Everyone else at actual amount.

Run the numbers at $10B.

We must establish a UOIP Shareholder Department of Misinformation.

Guess Billy did not want the inventors to know they were overpaid.

I had to look it up. I do not think any will respond. Looks like it is a secret.

Yup...and the most protective of minority interest shareholders. Again, last time I looked on Compustat, a very few years ago, about 54% of US corporations incorporated in the state of DE. Business Court going back to when 13 colonies were established.
Hmmmm...Billy would have to be a well-dressed, fit, disgusting person. Look for actors playing these roles.
Deidre deceptive and coniving...and ZW the hero and an investigative reporter type...maybe stoned all the time, but brilliant.
Need lots of twists and turns, but part will be easy.
This would be a fun project!
I think we all discussed this a long time ago.
