Sorry TAC for the confusion, but I was referring to the "Indian Guy" (as BG stated) as being smarter than BG may have so wrongly stated.
Uh, BGrass. Seems like this guy maybe a little smarter then you are letting on?
Yeah I agree. I am trying to analyze exactly why these outside sources would be hired and I am having a hard time finding a negative. It seems to point in a very positive direction. The negatives are real stretches as far as I can figure out. I really see the assistance from these companies are with organization and assistance with distributions and growth for the most part. They are experienced and well versed in these areas and that is pretty much the issues that face DROP over the next few month. I can't find the negatives in that. I'm even more intrigued with the future now. These guys seem to be doing everything right and not afraid to get experts on their team as they face every new problem that potentially could arise. I'm actually very impressed with their attention to detail of issues that are pending (trying to get ahead of potential problems). I'm definitely long on the stock. I've hit a couple previously and I think this is showing very good promise.
I had not heard of them either, so I googled and read up on them. They have worked in deals that involved companies such as Tom-Tom, Hormel, Kraft Foods and many others. Looks like they specialize in helping business' with their expansion plans. Some of the items specifically discussed in the information that I read was relating to acquisitions of competitors, expansion financing, distribution lines, business plans, market/business growth, mergers, etc..... really nothing that DROP might be looking at right now :)
This is a very, very important relationship that they are forming. Apparently they are securing experts to assist with their growth and making sure that they that do things the right way. I personally believe that they are to the point where they realize they may get overwhelmed very soon with managing several different product lines, shipping sources, distributors, retailer relationships, etc... and they are looking for expertise in managing those issues.
Atlas is not small potatoes. By reading more about them, they are experienced and well managed. It seems like they would be a great resource for an up and coming company that needs some direction and experience with the issues that they are about to encounter. In my opinion, this is a very good sign.
Wow, great post Putt4dough. There's a few short sayings that sum up some of your very detailed account of the state of Fuse Science and investing in start up companies in general. 1.) Revenue DOES solve most problems 2.) Your green and growing or brown and dying...and there is no in between (great products) 3.) Location, Location, Location (increasing distribution outlets) 4.)If you want to be successful then hang out with other people who are succesful (tiger, ortiz, foster, etc....very successful) and last 5.) Big risk brings big rewards (early investors accept a majority of the risk in hopes of very large returns). Thanks again for taking the time to calm the waters and educate everyone on the board of how these investment ventures work. I know I am in for the long haul regardless, but I even feel better!!!
You my friend are going to look very foolish in a very short period of time. I am buying more and I already have a very, very substantial number of shares. This is going to be as revolutionary and prevalent as Gatorade. GO FUSE!!!!!
Very good point.
My experience with GNC is that they are very good at educating their owners, managers and staff on their products, ingredients and uses.
It very much validates your point. And to further validate your point, my GNC owner knows every product in his store and knows every product on the GNC website very well. He also attends the annual GNC conference to get further information on products in the pipeline for the upcoming year (he saw Enerjel at this years conference and went to the presentation on the product that GNC hosted). I am very surprised that a GNC Manager would not know their products or the available products for their stores. Seems like they may want to look for another line of work.
Info, Not to split hairs, but a GNC store is generally between 1300 and 1800 square feet. I have managed shopping centers for 17 years (that's how I know). Not trying to be know it all, just trying to be factual.
We all should be very concerned, unbelievably call your mommy concerned, head between your knees concerned......that six months from now we all don't look back and wish we would have purchased alot more shares at $ .12!!!!!! GO FUSE. We are very, very close to the reward for waiting this out.
Rookie48....
I agree with you gutt feeling I have been getting a good vibe for a couple of weeks now (hoping it's not just gas). I think this is the week where the news is really specific and we get some solid company outlook and more confirmed timelines. I would really like to hear more on the distribution infrastructure and who the new retailers will be who are carrying the product and when those deliveries are planned. I guess I just want to see that the distribution deals are completed and shipping is planned.
I think we will definitely get a solid update on the drops this week. I just want the enerjel to continue to grow as well.
Crossball, I believe that it is now available to all locations. Did you check and see if they had ordered some? I know it has arrived in Omaha Franchisee stores as of Tuesday of last week. I would be surprised if they have actually ordered any. Please let us know what you find out. Thanks Crossball!
Definitely sold more then 5 bottles because my local franchisee here in Omaha got 20 bottles and split them between his three stores. He got them in earlier in the week and put them on the shelves on Tuesday night. As of noon today, he is out at every location. He ordered more yesterday (Thursday). So, Omaha likes the product and he loves the sales. The sales locations are now substantially higher with the shipping now avialable to the franchisee stores instead of just the original 702 corporate locations. Adds another 7000 or so points of sale for the product. New manufacturing plant being built.....can't see why anyone would think that there is anything but a bright future ahead. I think the 3rd quarter sales are gonna surprise and should help fund the drop launch. I'm staying put on my shares and am not concerned even if the shares drop more as long as the overall goal and direction of the product/company does not change. Also, the owner selling stock at this point tells me that he really could care less what people think and he is confident in the business plan for FUSE. If he was concerned, he would not have sold and put up a red flag. I believe they are more focused on the product research, product production, product marketing, product distribution and products future/sales then they are about what you and I think about them selling a few shares. That's only my Opinion.....of course.
I agree CAT
I'm in it LONG and I have a pretty fair number of shares, but I want to see some guidance and statement from the Management regarding the recent GNC rollout, Mission Products/Other rollout plans and the upcoming DROPS rollout before I venture any more money into this investment. If I were a new investor to the stock I would definitely get in at this point with about 50% of what I plan to invest here and wait to see if there are any new PR's that come out prior to getting fully in. Thick Skin and determination are absolutely necessary at this point. Getting out now, IMO, would be a big mistake and forfeiting the pps that has currently been lost. I believe Enerjel/Drops still have a very bright future and I am still a believer.
Pittsburgh GNC warehouse is the shipping source. Is that your question?
Franchise GNC Update.
My local GNC franchisee owner called me and said that the Enerjel that was supposed to be on his delivery this past weekend has been shipped UPS and is supposed to arrive today. He has 40 units arriving and plans to split those between his two stores here in the Omaha market. This is big news as it means they have the product in stock and are shipping the remaining orders out that could not be delivered last weekend. I will update later today to make sure that it arrived.
Midwest stores delivery date is tomorrow and Sunday. Not sure about the rest of the country, but I know Omaha will be delivered this weekend.
I would guess that the online successes are beyond their forecasts and that the franchisee orders that were filled/shipped yesterday and today, were WAY beyond their forecasts. This is a great problem and one that shows how well the marketing plan (albeit very, very specifically targeted and inexpensive) has worked. I would also guess that there was a decision made to go ahead and ship the inventories ordered to the franchisee's (making their core customer, franchisees happy) and then dealing with the GNC direct orders issues until further inventories are received. It makes sense. I do wonder though, how long it will take to get those inventories replaced to the GNC warehouse and ultimately available for online orders. That should tell us something regarding supply lines and production abilities. If those are back online at GNC by early/Mid next week, then I would feel very good about the future of revenues.
Step back from the ledge....
(Unless, of course that is where you normally live)
The Enerjel Product is being delivered to GNC stores on Saturday and Sunday. They will be on Shelves in multiple locations (not just the 702 corporate locations that was orginally reported) by Monday. I am assuming, pure speculation, that the warehouse has filled the orders for the 702 Corporate locations previously mentioned AND the multiple franchisee stores and ended up being very short on ending inventory. I would also guess that GNC has already recognized the problem and put in additional requests for product from Fuse. This is NOT a problem as most consumers who want the product will be able to visit their local GNC on Monday (at the latest) and purchase a bottle. I would also guess that the product will be restocked to the GNC warehouse shortly and then all is good. Seriously, this is very, very good news and I am not worried!!!!!
And even more importantly, it is on the delivery truck headed to GNC stores for Saturday deliveries today!!!!! My local GNC owner has 2 stores and ordered 20 units per store. He says he will most likely order more before the monthly large order because he has several of those Enerjel units already reserved to be picked up on Saturday afternoon (including my 2 bottles). The franchisee's can get 2-3 free deliveries from the GNC warehouse per month as long as the delivery is below 20 pounds, so he is not worried about having the product in stock in large amounts. The free deliveries are to tie them over in between their monthly large delivery. I am in weekly conversations with him and he is going to keep me updated on their sales, customer reviews and news on DROP availability.
bgrass, the product is being delivered to the GNC stores who participated in the initial availability of the product this Friday and Saturday. The Enerjel product was on the order sheets for the stores the middle of last week and there was NOT a limit on the number of units that could be ordered. It is up to the individual franchisee stores whether or not they order the product. I think you just ran into an a franchisee who may not be as in touch with the product as others. Enerjel was introduced at the franchisee national convention in late June as one of the new products coming out and they have followed through with the availibity of the product on the dates they said it would be available. The stores can get additional product within 3 days if they need more inventory. Those are the facts.
Great information Seeker. Seems like the product will sell itself if people just give it a try. Had she heard of the product before?
Catblu, yesterday I posted that the product is now available to all GNC locations whether they are corporate stores or franchisee stores. My GNC manager ordered 20 units yesterday and the delivery date is July 27-28. It was on e-order form yesterday morning for the stores that stated NEW Product Now Available. GNC is very high on it's release and has educated the GNC locations on the use and celebrity endorser's. The manager told me that he has lots of interest in the product and knows he will go through those 20 bottles pretty quickly, but can get more within 3 days by putting in a "smaller" order from the GNC warehhouse (I guess they often put in for smaller orders that come UPS or something if they have something that they need in between large truck deliveries). He also is very familiar with the drops and said that the fuse products were introduced to the franchisees at last months franchisee annual convention. He said that he is being told that the drops will be released shortly after the Enerjel release and promoted in several different manners included celebrity appearances at GNC stores (although he did say that those appearances would most likely be in their corporate locations that are close to the proximity of where those celebrities live).
I would expect a PR today or tomorrow at the latest to announce the GNC news. It's a good time for fuse and hopefully we'll start to see the SP reflect the answering of some of the release and product questions. GO FUSE!!!!
No problem Shore. I got a pretty source so I try and share anything I think is important. Keep bringing your information as well. I read the posts on DROP every day, but rarely get involved in the dialogue unless I have something infomative to add. And yes, I get it!!! LOL.
Here's the skinny.....
Just spoke with the owner my GNC store. He ordered his shipment of ENERJEL today with a delivery date of July 27-28. He said it showed up THIS MORNING on their weekly e-order forms and it was the only NEW product listed. There was a picture of the ENERJEL roll on with a headline of "Now Available". He said that he believes EVERY GNC can order the product as he is a franchise operator and not a corporate location. He ordered 20 this morning and can get another order within 3 days if he needs to. It will go in two different areas of the store and will be sent to facebook followers as the NEW product. He said that the new products are mass advertised through GNC customer contact information through eblasts (I think that's what he called it)as well as TV and other avenues. He is a very avid golfer and told me that he has been asked by several other golfers about the product and when he is getting it in. I guess the golf world knows about the product better then the average consumer.
Said nothing about the fuse drop products, but was told at the the National Convention a couple of weeks ago that they are coming soon after the Enerjel roll out.
That's all I got for now. I will be getting updates from him on sales and GNC corporate information releases.
Nothing has changed. Seems the marketing end of this product is soon to be released. Talked to the owner of my local GNC and he said that the presentation by GNC at the annual convention last month said that the product is going to be released in the middle of July with upcoming store appearances by their celebrity endorsers. The product was to be available to franchisee locations in 3rd or 4th week of July. Seems everything is closing in on the release. GNC is representing the product in a very, very positive manner to their franchisee's.
I'm NOT worried, unlike some others on here.
