FT, earnings is more like 3 1/2 weeks away still.
A broker friend of mine once told me about how the price of a stock reacts when it becomes either over or under priced. He says that the market in general will miss upcoming moves more than they spot them, and when the price gets way out of line with the reality, the price will snap back all at once to a fair market price as more and more people realize what is going on with the company. Another way to look at it is that even though the price has more than doubled in the past month, to a person just discovering the company, they would think that it has still a ways to go until fair value is reached and will not hesitate to buy into an ongoing rally.
Did hyperboy scare the sellers with his last message?
Maybe Avanza would have been a better choice to sponsor the listing rather than Penser.
Interesting that Avanza has heard the story about the FN listing.
Don't select a stock board type of listing for the group. Try one of the off-topic boards.
Repurposing an old cliché, ".80 is the new.40".
I expect the same trend tomorrow, too. I bought some today and will probably buy some more tomorrow on the dip.
Judging from the audio quality, I would guess they are using cell phones on the speakerphone option. That always sounds like you are speaking into a tin can with a string attached.
Daytraders love this stock.
MicroCap Daily news item posted on Friday.
"Sino Agro Food Inc (OTCBB:SIAF) Chinese Food Co Takes the OTCBB by Storm!"

Based on the following news article, it would not surprise me if we learned that SIAF was in negotiations with another investment group for another mega farm. I would guess that it would be a combination cattle and vegetable farm to take advantage of the growth of that sector and also not to compete with the new mega farm in aquaculture.
"PE Hungry For Chinese Food Cos. In Wake Of Scandals"

Look for some tape painting and a gain for the day.
The new message on the Jordan Fund site needs a lot of clarification, IMO.
117K on the bid at 1.04 sure looks like a short trying to cover.
I disagree. I see a lot of short covering that is having little success. Every once in a while there is an outrageously high bid of 40K to 50K. IMO, that is an MM looking to cover a short, with no success.
The list of MMs is so long they have to divide it up by alphabet.

I think we have an insti buying retail. 10K block just bought at .98.
If you wanted to plant a rumor, why not make it logical and believable. However, if it were true, we would need two more mega farms to handle the demand.
A listing on NASDAQ and a share price over $4 will automatically attract several analysts.
I am convinced the trading is being done solely by computer programs. A person would give up when facing all this buying at the dips. A computer program will just keep trying.
Just remember, these are development companies, and have no current income. High risk for sure, but for a small investment, lots of potential.

I split the tickers so it wouldn't violate terms of service. I listed them in the order of highest potential. The stevia play is going to fly next year.
That's my strategy. Along with SIAF, I have another agribusiness, a marijuana play and a biotech that all are now penny stocks buy have the potential to be 10 baggers.
My thinking is that SIAF has at least three more years of hyper growth, without any new projects being started. After that it could easily grow continually for the foreseeable future.
I keep thinking about that recent visit of the government official to SJAP. In the past, these visits have signaled one of many things, such as a govt grant or a new project. The govt is always a factor when they are talking about land use rights.
Judging by the quality of the Google translate program, I congratulate the "English as a second language" posters for the high quality of their wording. Most of us get the intent without complaint.
If the information is there for them to see, be assured they will use it to fleece the gullible.
One tactic that the MM's can use to cover is when people enter what is called a "stop loss" order that is a sell order below the current price. The MM's look at the lvl 2 data and if they see a large block of automatic sell orders at 5% or 10% below the current price they shake the tree and sell short until they can use those shares to buy back. I call those types of orders "stop profit" orders because in a rapidly advancing share price environment like we have here selling is a guaranteed way to lose out.
Gap up over 6%.
Most likely NITE is behind the Swedish trading since they are the largest MM. Most of the others are daytrading for their own accounts.
Without Garwor, the Chinese partner, there is no deal.
Nordnet and Avanza both have institutional holdings equaling about 26% in total. Both are Swedish banks holding the shares in pension funds. Nordnet has just over 15 million shares and Avanza holds about 20.5 million shares.
Q3 earnings news won't be out until about Nov 15 or so. We have about seven weeks for buyers to position themselves for the rise that should happen then.
What I was trying to point out was that a high rsi is supposed to indicate an overvalued stock. We all know that SIAF is way undervalued, so it should have a very low rsi. The trading trend is giving a false reading of relative strength for a long-term view..
The rsi is based on a stock that has been fairly valued by the market in general. With SIAF, we have a stock which we know has been undervalued by between 10X to 20X for years. This is what is skewing the rsi number. The rsi that should be a reality for SIAF is probably 5, not 90.
The only thing being dumped here is misinformation.
Daytraders is the answer to the question about who is trading the stock. They desire three main things when they look for a stock to daytrade.
1 Predictability
2 High volume
3 Volatility
SIAF has all three of these factors.
Only daytraders playing this now. Sell short in the morning and cover in the afternoon. They don't dare leave the short position open any more for more than a day at a time.
PLPL should hire a Chinese pharmacist expert in herbal medicines. There could be a large number of commercially viable projects they could undertake for the seasons when tea leaves are not harvested.
Look at the whole situation. We have a very profitable company, on a high growth curve that is expected to continue for at least the next three years due to the mega farm. Instead of cheerleading at every few cents gain, my recommendation is to shut down your internet connection for a few months until the next earnings release and enjoy life.
I listened to the Rodman & Renshaw presentation and got the impression that it was favorably thought of by the audience. Their were several questions at the end looking for guidance but none was given except to say that it is early days of the Qualipride alliance. I expect the revenue will start to flow mostly in Q4 and beyond. The presentation powerpoint is available on the STVF homepage and the audio replay of the presentation is available from the Rodman website.
