NEWS JUST OUT.: Texas is out! Nevada front runner:
Gas 2 says that Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada are the new frontrunners for the factory, with the latter the most likely due to its law allowing the testing of 'autonomous' vehicles on public roads.
Too many times I have gotten cold feet and jumped out of a stock only to loose money or break even. Then the stock goes on a huge run and I kick myself at how much money I didn't make. Not this time. I'm holding for good news no matter how long it takes. Nothing venture, nothing gained. AMEL will advance big on Tesla news in the short term (1-3 months) and it will advance long term as Lithium becomes increasingly popular. Patience wins here!!!!
Not familiar with naked shorting. Good? Bad?
Amel fully owns about 670,000 acres in Alberta, Canada. Canada is one of the world's top producers of Graphite. I don't think Amel has pursued Graphite but I'm sure they're sitting on lots of it.
Good time to load up before news hits. Then this train will have left the station.
Do they still have all this land or was it (or some of it) released when the lost a lot of acreage last year due to a lapse in payment of fees. My guess is they held on to land with the most promise and let go of other property that was not worth holding on to and paying fees for.
From what sources?
NEVADA. HERE'S WHY:
Nevada and Elon Musk
SolarCity’s chairman is entrepreneur Elon Musk,
From:Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development
"
Nevada’s solar future just got a little sunnier.
SolarCity, a San Mateo, Calif.-based solar company, opened its doors for business Wednesday at Town Square, near Interstate 15 and the Las Vegas Beltway.
SolarCity offers business and residential customers a full range of solar-panel services, from design and financing to installation and maintenance.
In March, the Governor’s Office of Economic Development granted SolarCity $1.2 million from its $10 million Catalyst Fund, which helps job-creating companies expand or relocate to Nevada.
The company has hired about 130 employees locally and is now hiring for the Las Vegas office at the rate of one new worker per day, with plans to double its workforce each year.
While its headquarters will remain in California, SolarCity CEO Lyndon Rive says he wants to make Las Vegas an important hub for the company, which has locations in 14 other states and Washington, D.C.
Rive said he wants to make the Las Vegas branch one of the biggest, if not the biggest, SolarCity locations.
Rive said the move would not have been possible without recent legislation Senate Bill 123, which calls for the Reid Gardner coal power plant to close and requires 350 megawatts to be created from renewable energy, and Assembly Bill 428, which calls for renewable energy laws to be revised.
Currently in Nevada, SolarCity can work only with new home builders to install solar panels. Its main partner is Shea Homes.
“I’m looking forward to the next phase, when we can actually install solar locally in the state,” Rive said. “With the implementation of those two bills, we can get rooftop solar and make Nevada one of the top solar states in the country.”
Several Nevada politicians were present for the opening ceremony, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., Gov. Brian Sandoval and U.S. Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev.
Assembly Speaker Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Assemblyman David Bobzien and State Sens. Ruben Kihuen, Kelvin Atkinson and Michael Roberson along with County Commissioner Steve Sisolak also were present.
One hundred or so SolarCity employees, many of whom moved from California to join the new operation, also were there, donning kelly green company polo shirts.
The Las Vegas location will serve as the company’s main call center and will handle sales, customer care and billing.
Las Vegan Spence Corcoran said he joined SolarCity’s employment ranks because he believes in the cause.
“It’s a fast-growing operation with a lot of good energy behind it,” he said.
Customer account manager Chandler Gray, who has 15 years of experience in retail, said he joined the company “to be a part of the future and leave a legacy for (his) son.”
Officials from the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development have said the average hourly wage for SolarCity employees will be $21 an hour.
Reid said SolarCity is a big win for the state, which he said is leading the nation in geothermal power and has solar and wind capabilities.
“There’s not a state in the union that is more capable of being energy independent than the state of Nevada,” Reid said.
SolarCity’s chairman is entrepreneur Elon Musk, who also founded PayPal, Space X space-launch vehicles and Tesla Motors electric cars.
On Tuesday, Musk revealed details for Hyperloop, a high-speed solar-powered “elevated transit” system that would move passengers between Los Angeles and San Francisco in aluminum tubes in less than 30 minutes, faster than a commercial airplane."
TSLA message boards mentioning the recent report on Solar city going Nevada and are thinking Tesla will follow.
Bingo!!! That's the smoking gun right there! Tesla will put its gigafactory in Nevada 100%. Get ready for Amel stock to skyrocket when it's announced!!!!!!!
Excerpt from new article: “Tesla didn’t give locations within each state. The Reno Gazette-Journal in Nevada reported that a site near Reno-Stead Airport and the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center was being considered. The newspaper noted it is the site closest to the Fremont car plant.”
Hmmmm. Now The Reno Gazette-Journal reports that a site at the Reno-Stead Airport is under consideration. 2+2+4. Or Nevada!! GO AMEL!!!
Let's not loose sight that a little over a week ago we were at .005
Now we're at .015 with support. Patience. It will keep rising.
Not sure but will do some digging.
Very Interesting!: Not only is Lithium hot but Graphite has been in the news big time with regards to Tesla's Gigafactory. A huge need they will have. Check it out. Here is where it gets interesting. Canada is one of the world's largest producers of Graphite behind India and China. AMEL owns the “Americana Property” in Alberta, Canada and it's one of the largest claims in the region, representing a massive 664,049 acres. I wonder if Tesla knows that not only does AMEL have great proximity in Nevada for Lithium but also has massive acreage in one of the world's best places to mine for Graphite? Hmmmmm. Would it make sense for Tesla to partner with or scoop up AMEL. I'm not say'in. I'm just say'in.
Here is why you want to stay long with AMEL:
http://www.wealthdaily.com/articles/lithium-a-long-term-investment/5064
NEWS JUST IN: AmeriLithium Corp (AMEL) reported that it has received a new technical report on the Company’s Jackson Wash Lithium Brine Project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. According to the Report, the Jackson Wash Project has the potential to contain economic lithium resources.

Looks like you own American Lithium Minerals stock and are bashing AMEL out of fear. Otherwise why would you spend the time here? I think all Lithium companies that are legit will benefit right now. Some more than others. Like all penny stocks there will be up and down days but AMEL will keep going up for while. Even if it's two steps forward and one step back. Those that got in at .01 will make a killing. AMEL will see .10 and if Tesla picks Nevada it will shoot to .25, .50 or even up to $1. AMEL has been there before and now is poised to really take advantage of all that is going on.
...And keep in mind that Tesla has not visited the other states. Last week governors, etc...where sending letters to Tesla inviting them to come to their states. This shows that Tesla, on there own, visited Nevada and spend time with them. That is very POSITIVE news!!!!!!
New Article just in:
(excerpt)
As Gas 2 previously reported, Nevada seems like the likely location for the Gigafactory. According to the Reno Memo, an official said Tesla representatives visited Reno “a few months ago” to explore sites at the Stead airport and at the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center. It also helps that Nevada has already passed a law allowing the testing of autonomous vehicles on public roads — a technology Tesla is pursuing. 3/10/14
Here's the thing. Amel is a legit lithium exploration company with great property potential in Nevada. They also have a massive portfolio of claims in Canada and Australia. Because they are legit and have lots of property they ARE going to benefit for a while on the lithium boom. The share price is going up and will continue as long as the lithium sector is buzzing. And that will be for a while. Also, there is a good chance (with Remo as CEO) that a deal would be brokered for a buyout of all their property from a bigger fish wether it be Tesla or another lithium company like ROC. Bottom line: AMEL sits on a lot of asset potential. I've been a stockholder and have watched AMEL closely for years and this is the most opportune time I've ever seen for AMEL. Good time to be in and hold. Patience will pay off. This is not a defunct company that is here today and gone tomorrow. They've been around for 10 years and have even more reason now that Lithium is the new oil. Don't get nervous is the price goes down. It WILL come back up and keep contracting as it inches closer to .10+ Like I said before, a few years back (when Lithium wasn't nearly as hot) the AMEL price shot to $1.50 just on rumors of a Ford buyout that had ZERO facts associated with it. NOW, Tesla is real and Lithium is super hot. Could not be better for a company like AMEL.
Both statements are in this article that came out this morning:
http://time.com/18114/heres-why-teslas-massive-new-factory-will-change-everything/
Good morning all! Check it: Article just came out 30 minutes ago saying “The single-most important aspect of the Tesla Gigafactory location is that it’s near a rail line.” AND “Tesla also said it will partner with a battery manufacturer as well as companies that supply the precursor materials such as lithium…”
AMEL FACTS: It’s the closest to Tesla Motors Inc.
There are rail lines running through the area.
How convenient.
Can anyone dig up any info that shows Mr. Remo, Mr. Musk and/or Mr. Sandoval know each other or have worked together in the past? I am assuming they have or at the least are aware of each other. Would love to see some sort of proof. That would only bolster confidence in a deal between Tesla and AMEL.
Either everything we've been hearing from boards are highly exaggerated from desperate stockholders dreaming about what could be. -OR- It will all turn out to be true and we're all about to make a crap load of money!!
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the negative comments are traders trying to scare people out of their shares so they can snag them up. We're about to find out real soon. Crazy things happen when a lot of money is at stake. If AMEL was just a pipe dream they wouldn't waste their time bashing it but would be out there trying to make money for their clients. Time is money, right? GO AMEL!!!!
AND, If Tesla picks Nevada everyone will know who AMEL is based on proximity. It'll be like the California gold rush. Everyone wanting a piece of the Lithium action. The fact that AMEL is not producing Lithium doesn't matter. We know based on test results and proximity to other mines that they have it. Probably in abundance too. Also, consider how much easier it is now for AMEL to get investors for more drilling and testing. AMEL is not a fly by night operation even though it's technically a small company with a lot of prime land. They have been around for 10 years or so. With good news on Tesla + Nevada and a little PR from AMEL this stock will make a lot of people rich if you get out before the buzz ends but that will be a while as there is much buzz growing for a while on this.
I'm riding AMEL for a while and I have quite a few $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ tied up in it. Jumped out too early before. Trusting this one to go up quite a bit before it heads south again. Oh, it will fluctuate a bit but will be on a steady climb for a while. And with Earnest Remo as interim CEO with major experience he will not let this opportunity pass by without playing it big. You know he must have gotten a lot of shares to come in an position AMEL well. He's our ace of experience to work this to his/our advantage.
GO AMEL!!!!!
Hey don't forget this stock went up to $1.50 just on rumors of a Ford buyout a few years ago. Tesla news is real. Lithium buzz is real with Gigafactory. Amel should be able to ride this UP for a while. At least to .25. Rumor of a Tesla buyout or Roc buyout would sound more legit than Ford anyway. Stock could hit $1 or more if they play their cards right. IMO.
If what others are saying are right and outsiders start seeing AMEL pop up next week we'll have a lot more new comers jumping in which will drive the stock higher.
If that happens I'll spontaneously combust!!
I hope AMEL is gearing up for some PR to ride this puppy to greens.
I'm sure this is all very exciting for them as well. GO AMEL!!!
I hear ya. The tough part will be deciding when to cash in. If it hits $.50 and news is still coming out whose to say it won't soar to 1.00 or up to 5.00 this year. Decisions, decisions.
Who's all in for the long haul of .50+
Nervous nellies will bail at .05 and take their small profits.
Others will stay in the fight and reap the rewards. Big rewards.
With all the Lithium buzz going on I'm surprised AMEL hasn't been pushing any PR.
Would be a perfect time. UNLESS they have some bigger news they're holding on to for later?
That's the only reason I can think of they would be silent while the buzz is all around.
Massive Lithium Battery story just out. Nice.
http://blog.sfgate.com/inthepeninsula/2014/03/07/tesla-alternative-energy-future/
I have a feeling Monday is going to be fun.
I've been seeing a lot of news stories from Texas, New Mexico and Arizona and how governors, mayors, etc have written letters to Tesla inviting them to meet, talk...but I haven't really noticed Nevada pursuing Tesla like the other states. Hmmm, do they already know something or have reason to feel very confident? Nevada is staying fairly quiet in all this.
AMEL has a lot of land and not much else but potential. Not sure how they compare to the other Li miners in Nevada. Is AMEL just a tiny spec compared to others? I haven't done DD on the other players. Not sure how Tesla would work with AMEL or if they would think AMEL is small potatoes. Anyone know more about the playmakers in Nevada as far as Lithium miners? Is AMEL a real contender or just riding the wave of hype. Either way it's good for us all at the moment.
I hear you and don't think Tesla would necessarily get in business with AMEL although AMEL does have a lot land next door to the only Li producer in the US. But, demand for lithium will grow as well as the buzz from the Gigafactory. Either way, all ships rise with the tide. As Lithium demand is a hot topic all lithium stocks are rising. I think it could be a good run for a bit. Unless bad news comes out that Lithium isn't in demand or that Tesla decides to not build then I think AMEL stock and others will keep rising for a while. IMO.
People still read the newspaper?
Just scooped up another 400K+ shares. Puts me at 3.8m shares. I'm tapped out now. Holding for a big payday. Thanks for the cheapies. Long and strong now.
Been away for a a bit. Only have 3450 shares left after reverse split. Took a beating.
I see the new shares are up 240%. Any hope of shares reaching $1 soon or is this company too dangerous to wait and see? Trying to figure out if I should sell and reinvest in something else.
It's funny how excited we are about pennies. Imagine when we're in the silver heading to greens.
Pennies will feel like chump change. Stay with this stock this year and reap the rewards.
