Unless one were to buy long, then the day to day wouldn't even matter... There is more than one way to skin a cat- so to speak. Perhaps that is your game plan for the near future, but many of us look at that plan and laugh, just as you may do with ours. :)
CGFIA for the long haul! :)

Sure there is some dillution, but there are also shorters taking advantage of the dilution, more power to them, but that allows them to buy back at a much lower price much more easily... So dilution + shorters = considerably larger drop than just pure dilution.
Anybody have thoughts on why the Bid and Ask are frozen at 81 (bid) and 25 (Ask)? Hasn't seemed to matter...
81 mil+ at the bid, but only 25 mil at the ask. Looks good ladies and gents.
That's the difficulty in being a publicly traded company. Public investors tend to be VERY impatient (not necessarily you, but it's obvious on this board and other unmentionable boards). That impatience leads to very few publicly traded companies doing what CGFIA is attempting to do, start up a new mill and mining operation. I work in the Oil Exploration industry in a small privately owned, purely exploration company, and some of our projects are 10 years in the making before we see a single cent come out of the ground in the form of oil (that's 10 years spending millions of dollars). If you compare how much MORE redtape mining companies have to go through than oil companies in the state of Colorado, CGFIA has already moved mountains since December. I look at the yehaws and I see a bunch of people who don't really understand how long a project like this truly takes.
Personally I don't place very much value in the yeehaw board for this very reason.
All that being said, I won't tell you to keep holding, buying, or selling... but I know where I stand on this company, and in the long haul (the next few months), I'm still liking the way this looks.

Keep that chin up! We're just waiting for the permit and finally a revenue stream from the POW Mill. You mentioned earlier that you were wondering if anybody here in CO was going to be near the mill site anytime soon. I'll be by there probably late August. There'll be photos for the board when I get back. In the mean time, keep that chin up! (I'm not recommending one buy/sell/hold CGFIA)
I just love to see the history mining coming back to this state!
GLTY and GO CGFIA!
I just had a thought, 567, that would support the idea of buying at the ask (aside from your point that it helps the price go up).
It ALSO could lessen the 'dilution' this stock will see by giving CGFIA the capital they need but lessening the negative impact on your future share value.
In other words: If you BUY at the BID, you're only digging the DILUTION deeper and faster.
:) Thought you might like this!
GO CGFIA!
MT: I added 3 million last week at the ASK in case anybody else was wondering(if it is dillution then I'll happily support my company's capital development!). :) Hopefully we can break 600mil before the price jumps!
No, I mean the past couple months. Meaning since about April when the Mill News really started improving. We've seen the Moving Average on the SP go from .0008 to .0007. Which is VERY shallow when you compare it to the long term curve. I don't see a huge drop in price indicated in the past few months. But I don't see a huge increase either. All I see is a sideways motion that will continue the way it has been going IMO until the Mill gets the go-ahead for operation and/or revenue starts up.
Anyways, I just wanted to input the third opinion in the discussion that is getting no buzz compared to the uppers and downers.
Why must it only be up/down? Can it not continue mostly sideways like it has been for the past couple months until revenue starts? IMHO the good news and possible dilution are balancing each other out. The fact that the MMs aren't aggressively trying to lower the price should mean something, right?
Go CGFIA!
I appreciate the response, ficose! As always, you provide very helpful information.
I think I'm heading up to Silverton at the end of the summer to check out the mill and perhaps do some camping in the area. It'll be good to see one's dollars in action! When I do, you can be SURE there will be photos coming back! For the board to drool over and so everyone who can't make it can see their money at work.

CGFIA- What is VFIN's sginificance in the grand scheme of the overall driving force of the daily stock price? Are they the most significant factor in pushing the price of CGFIA down? I've read your posts about them, but I was wondering if you could provide a "complete picture" post of what makes VFIN so important, to you, on the price of CGFIA.
Thanks!

Questions that need answers:
Does anybody have any experience in the structural make-up of Tailing ponds? And if so, what kind of work should we expect after they sample where the dry stacking will be placed?
The way the last PR was written, it seems to imply that the TR-11 did not cover the dry stacking location?
I'm at a loss for where the dry stack location testing coincides with Amendment-3 and TR-11.
Also, I remember reading the dry stacked tailings might be placed on a separate property? Would this fall under The POW Permit, or will the separate property owner need to receive a permit as well? OR, did that deal not go through?
Can you name these "paid screaming pumpers"?
The trend in the simple moving average from about the end of May has been from 0.0008 to 0.0007, hardly a big step, and very methodical in movement. In fact, it follows the curve, nicely, that has been in place on this stock since November, 2010.
I doubt the curve is going to change much until the mill goes into operation, (pure speculation on my part).
Though if you look at the curve, it is definitely slowing its drop, which is why it feels like it is almost level.

The world may never know, it was deleted, therefor what's to read?
Anyways, Be careful what you claim on this board that you don't libel yourself or the company. There are legal ramifications for false claims, that are speculative, that hurt a company's reputation, etc. You are probably toeing a great legal line.

There's the investor's relations email, ask them yourself instead of just guessing.
So, you are saying the CGFIA PRs are a lot of BS and never really happened? lol if that's what you think, why are you even posting here? What would be the point except for trolling?
Has anybody else looked at the Bollinger Bands? The bottom band has been at .0006 for the past month, while the top band has been between .0008 and .0009 for the past month. From the BBs it looks like our current price range of 6/7 is pretty low, ESPECIALLY when it drops to 5/6.
I only commented because I've been watching an influx of negativity on this board lately that isn't backed by any new facts, usually they are frustrated comments due to impatience on wanting Perfect news right now. Why this impatience exists varies from investor to investor, but it's there.
While I understand your frustration/aggravation for lack of news, that alone should not be a reason for a company to fail(except in the case of a self fulfilling prophecy IMO). I'd be happy to read more commentary on this board which is backed by actual facts, especially NEW facts. It seems, lately, that most of the negative comments are the same thing, repeated, everday(often by the same person seemingly pushing their 'agenda'): "dillution" "lack of news" and other opinions which are often difficult to prove or just pure unadulterated speculation.
The way I see it, right now, no news is good news. It means CGFI is hard at work getting ready for the next step. I'm sure if one stopped by their office in lakewood, co, they would be happy to answer one's questions on what kind of time frame they are looking at.
Attractive is such a subjective word. If you do the DD, and keep an objective eye on this company, one will see "where the gold lies" so to speak. A mining company is certainly not an instant gratification investment the way a snickers bar might be.
GLTA :) Here's to the next few years :D cheers.
Had to pull into Port to collect some more powder. These scurvy dogs won't know what hit them after the holiday weekend! Arrrgh
Away from the board for a week, nothig happens, away from the board for 6 hours today, and THIS happens! :D FANTASTIC!
Going for the long, I think we may just make that hail mary pass!
Could MMs be hedging their bets on CGFIA? Which is where all the "sells" at 7 are coming from?
Compare the price in the stock on previous "POW" PR releases, versus Mine acquirement releases... There's your answer in a nut shell:
The Price is waiting for TR-11 Approval and mill Operation! IMO this whole game hinges on that news first.

567: joking between the connection between the "yehaws" and yahoo's top rating of vfin(according to the vfin website). Just connecting dots already placed on the board and getting a laugh out of it, though I can't PM.
VFIN (vFinance Investments) is "top ranked by Yahoo!" for venture Capital...
Explains a lot.
I bought in at 0007-0008 :) Looks like you're wishing you'd waited a little longer?
Longterm UP from here! :)

How are the MMs reacting to the price shift this afternoon, after this weekends Volume buildup? Anybody have a clue?
CGFIA; DRMS Permit Number:

Gold went down, because, IMO, Oil went down, which Bolstered the Dollar across the World economy. This is just one factor though. In the end, this blip could be seen as noise on a longer scale curve, we'll have to see what happens over the next few months.
The only single day of news I'm watching for is the Mill Permit. :)
GO CGFIA
Thanks MT! I am still receiving email updates, so that I can say "WAHOO!" the moment good news comes about. Hopefully when I return, this board will have become a ghost town in only the best of ways, except for the occasional yahoo saying $0.50 means it's going to plummet. hah
GLTA GO CGFIA
Have a good week ladies and gents. :)
I can see where you might feel that way, but the bond money doesn't get touched by any agencies. That's why the form was so important that the DRMS requested to be tacked on to the check provided. This form designates this money and keeps it off limits from the rest of the government. The bond is a warranty; it's the company ensuring that they will do their part and follow the rules (past mining experience in Colorado has shown companies are utterly horrible at policing themselves in this regard without monetary incentive). Mods, or anyone else who knows rightly, correct me if I'm wrong, but if CGFIA completes their milling at POW in the long distant future, don't go bankrupt before clean-up, and end their permit contract upon fulfillment of clean-up requirements, then the warranty bond is returned to them?
That's my understanding of how it works. The Bond is simply an amount of money which allows the Government the confidence that the company won't leave them with the clean up bill. If they didn't require this, you'd probably get little Buttes and Leadvilles all over the Rockies.
I imagine the Yahoos are USC fans... haha
Have a great weekend
I'll be on Vacation in Southern California next week; It would be fantastic to hear a bunch of good news while I was already having a good time!
GLTA
Hey 567, isn't that why we're all on this board anyways? To give and receive additional pairs of critical eyes on each other's DD? You're updates are still above and beyond what most people provide!
Go CGFIA
Hmm... If one searches the database, the Doc Date for this document is May 18th, 2011. The date, June 10th, 2011 is in the header... Does this mean the document was edited by the DRMS, today, but that it still isn't the final payment?
Here here, ficose! Thanks for the insight.
GLTA and Go CGFIA
The Bond payment is there so the Government (taxpayer) doesn't have to pay as much or at all for cleanup. It protects the taxpayer. A fiscal conservative would be happy about bond payments that back up the cleanup for industrial operations. :)
